Terrible stay, would never go again. The pics are nothing like the actual rooms or property. The room was dirty, and the staff at check in and check out were rude, and were confrontational about my review. If I could give a zero star rating, I would. Do yourself a favor, spend a bit more money and get yourself a better room elsewhere.

First off I had booked 2 rooms 1 with 2beds. This was for myself and my daughter 24 and son 22. Both rooms had 1 bed only, they had no choice but to share that room. 1 room smelled literally of strong weed. So they did give us another room when I complained. They were supposed to be non smoking rooms. The photos on hotels.com were taken from some other hotel. AC was blowing cool air not cold air in one of the rooms. In the photos I am providing are examples of things I found. This was my wedding weekend and it took place in Victorville, CA. the desert my daughter found a desert waterbug in the bed. Broken hair dryer plug, shower curtain hanging. Some type of stains were on the top cover of the bed. Ice machine had algae on the bottom of tray. Both rooms had a mini fridge, microwave, and coffee maker. The socket for micro was to far to plug in , when we made coffee, it literally looked like runny mustard water. I would not recommend California Inn to anyone. I know it was last minute booking to this establishment, but never again. I think in the future someone needs to really stay at these places before allowing the on hotels.com.

My only issue was it took forever to get hot water. Water pressure was low and variable, like there was an equipment malfunction. Otherwise it was just fine.

I did not like much about it. I had to stay there on my way to the Sierras; had a late start. The room had: TV, refrigerator, coffee-maker, and micro in the room. Bathroom was in a poor state. Stains in the toilet bowl, paint pealing off the wall. No walking distance to dining, ugly. There aren't many choices to stay in Adelanto so forget it.

The faucet in the vanity would give hot water. had to brush teeth with bottle water. the water pressure in the shower was poor. Let room with AC to go to dinner it shut off after leaving room leaving it 80plus degrees. upon return.Could not cool down room before going to sleep, Opened window to cool down room. Then someone in the Truck shop turn on Music so loud we could not sleep.

property was clean, only issue we had was the toilet was leaking really bad, but i told the owner,managment and switched our room immediately, very nice man. room was very clean. neighborhood isn't so great, but at least the sheriffs are right across the street.

Bed was dirty, had stains on blanket. Shower was old and dirty. Toilet was low to the ground and toilet seat had crack. Would not stay there again unless I had no other choice.

Set up a reservation a month in advance for 2 queen beds in a nonsmoking room. Get there. They give me a room with a single king bed in a nonsmoking room. I let them know of the mistake. They try and fix it. Put me and my group in a smoking 2 queen bed room. Which means they gave away my reservation. Very disappointing. The overall cleanliness of the room was atrocious as well. Stains on all the chairs and blankets. Most of the outlets didn’t work. They had people wonder into the parking lot and look through peoples cars. It wasn’t a good experience. But it got us through our weekend. On a brighter note: the showers actually worked. That was the highlight of our room. The water pressure was good and the water got hot and stayed hot as well.

Clean room and clean bedding. Very noisy due to truck traffic at all hours. And a neighbor with a loud tv bed and pillows were not super comfy but did the job. Would stay again if I had no other option but if I can drive a bit further would shoot for Ridgecrest instead.

I did not like that there is a $50 charge for a nonsmoking room. The room I had most of the power outlets did not work as well as the microwave.

Our room was sorta clean and the bed was not comfortable. The pillows are so thick if you try to sleep on your back your chin touches your collar bone. I saw a pool listed but someone filled it with cement, should probably update their page. For the money though sleeping here was better than driving through the night (but barely).

They changed my nightly rate; it was supposed to be 115$/night and when I arrived they said is was 162$/night We drove from 2 hours away, it was late, and they told me I could “take it or leave it” and that they did not care. They yelled at me and said that’s what I signed up for. 162$/night to stay in the middle of the desert is ridiculous.

The room was tidy with a nice tv, good sized bed and coffee maker. However when I looked closer some parts of the room were dirty. The bedding and carpet had stains. The shower had hair still in it from the previous stay I guess. After seeing this I was a little uncomfortable to stay in the room but I did. Despite that, the location was great for the event I had to go to close by.

Enjoyed our stay at this property. Staff were quick and polite, rooms were clean and well provisioned, and property was well maintained for what was in their control. The immediate area around the property was not the best though. Several times we were approached by homeless people and the adjacent lots and commercial properties all appear to have a run down appearance and were not clean. I would stay at this property again but definitely would not recommend leaving anything valuable in the car overnight.

The people were less than nice. I made a reservation online and then they told me I didn’t have one. They gave me a room, without running water and no tv, burn holes on the sheets and a part of the room was just plié wood. When I complained the manager told me everything works in that room. So I just left, and they still charged me for both of my rooms.

Some owner-operators take pride in their lodging. Not here. - During morning shower rush, "Hot" water below room temperature! - Security chain on front door cut! - Mattress sagging. - Toilet seat damaged. - Bath fan exposed. - Damaged coffee maker, and NO coffee cups (only plastic). - Wifi password not provided at check-in: force you to call front desk. - Dim light bulbs. Positives: - Decent fridge & microwave. - No apparent bedbugs (surprising). - Vehicle not violated. - Shower valve allows control of both temp and flow, a welcome rarity. Judging by this hotel's "Good" rating, yet again, southern californians give a dive motel positive reviews. A pattern too frequent to ignore. I have stopped lending any credibility to reviews from Santa Barbera/Fresno to the border. Their 'culture of forced smiles' is incapable of honest and savvy criticism. Usually innocuous, but when relying on the accuracy of reviews, annoying.
