Beautiful property, complimentary breakfast was beautiful with fresh baked breads, croisants, fresh fruit smoothies, muesili, yogurt, fruit. Beachfront with pool room was spectacular. Huge with infloor aquqrium water features in side , private pool deep to swim and with waterfall all in courtyard. Service was excellent. Rooms and pool cleaned and beach raked daily. Lounge chairs, furniture and beds very comfortable and attractive. Ocean views breathtaking. Luxurious in every way.

Great modern private villas with a local look & feel that are conveniently located exclusively close to Muri Beach. Food options available for self contained accommodation and restaurants nearby. Friendly service from the whole Te Manava & Pacific team from transport & greetings, to restaurant & cleaning.

Really great location on outskirts of Muri beach. Private Villas with individual pool and courtyard and access to the beach. Free kayaks and snorkelling gear available. Fully equipped kitchen so can cater for selves if wish. Comfortable accomodation. Very friendly and helpful staff- thanks Kate!

Very good location, the villa was amazing very clean and spacious. No wifi, we had to pay for internet and the coffee, given that we stayed for 7 nights there were only 4 pods of coffee and we had to purchase the rest. The kitchen had everything we needed for a long stay but not the best value for money. There’s no restaurant in the resort so we had to walk all the way to Pacific Resort every morning for breakfast or lunch.

Everything about Te Manava is AMAZING! The villas are spacious, equipped with everything you could possibly need, private, and CLEAN. Staying at Te Manava was one of my favorite parts of the whole trip and having Jane there to help with ALL my questions made it that much better.
Bonuses:
- Laundy in the villa (we stayed in unit 7)
- Fast internet (needs to be purchased, but compared to the paid internet at other resorts on the island, the internet at Te Manava is MUCH faster).
- Right across the street from a coffee stand, convenience store, bakery (we LOVED Jancey's), and several other small restaurants (including Vili's).
- Use of the pool and boat shed (plus other facilities) at nearby Pacific Resort.
- The air-con WORKS!
- Jane :) she is amazing!
My only regret is NOT getting a beachfront villa. Definitely splurging the next time. That said, Te Manava was lovely. You'll love it.

We absolutely loved our stay at Te Manava. We are already thinking about our return trip and will definitely be staying at Te Manava. The suite we had was just perfect for our family of six. Shelley, Teina and Jane were absolutely lovely and went out of their way to make us feel a part of the Te Manava family. 100% recommend the Presidential Suite - you will not be disappointed!

Staff were very very helpful, warm and friendly at all times and went above and beyond to make sure we were comfortable and had everything we needed. The villa was beautiful with unbelieveable views of the lagoon. It was very clean, beds were comfortable and the bathroom was gorgeous and well stocked. The self-catering facilities were excellent. They also provided complimemtary lifejackets, flippers, snorkel masks, kayaks and pool noodles etc for use which was in great condition. Could not rate this place highly enough.. 11 out of 10 stars!

The property really is as good as it looks in the pics. The Villas are spic and span and it was a fabulous week. Located right on the beach front on the Lagoon. Shelley and Teina are terrific hosts and highly personable. Nothing is too much trouble and they have a wealth of local knowledge. Highly recommend it.

We chose Te Manava for the final week of our honeymoon as the 'relaxing bit' and could not be happier with our choice. We managed to get one of the Beachfront Villa suites which was just amazing. Beautiful accommodation with great facilities (large bathroom, kitted out kitchen, outdoor chairs and loungers, small plunge pool, bbq) all for our personal use! The view out over the lagoon from the back was incredibly picturesque, complete with coconut palms, islands and waves breaking on the reef. Shelley and Teina who run the facility were such nice people and really helpful, always happy to give advice on places to go and ready to drop us down to the Pacific resort if we needed a lift. We definitely preferred it to the large Pacific resort as it was much less busy, didn't have to share facilities and there were less kids etc. - perfect for a honeymoon!

This place was incredible. Exactly what we needed after a long trip. Love love loved it! Our airport transfers forgot us on the way home (again) but it was so lovely here

Great private location far enough away to be private and close enough for markets, food. We hired a car and bikes to making getting around island easier and convenient.

Great! Loved the location of my suite - privacy, parking right out my door, luxurious and was left to do my own thing unless I requested anything. And loved the complimentary wine. Would have preferred the WIFI be linked to the main service provider Blue Sky instead of the resort, but it was easy enough to find a hot spot near by or at the Pacific.

luxurious villa, very spacious and private. Staff were very friendly and helpful. We loved having our own plunge pool with the beach at our back door.

Amazing location and beatiful villas, close to everything in muri

The picture presented is not the Villa- you get a 5 star room with a small courtyard, with no view and no windows. The room is small and cluttered. The pool is at best a dipping pool. A hotel room with an enclosed courtyard.

Very nice facility on the ocean. View is amazing. Rooms very nice. Only complaint is they need more than one channel on the television. Had to watch Annie about 20 times to keep the kids entertained.

The staff is amazing! Absolutely amazing! The rooms are beautiful & well appointed. Everything you need for an extended stay away. Location is good and definitely closer to food & entertainment than on the opposite side of the island. The couple's massage at the Spa on site were exactly what we needed to start our getaway. Be sure to book in advance.

Great place to stay if you are travelling with a friend or partner, would not recommend if you are travelling solo as there is no bar or restaurant and everyone keeps to their own villa. The place is beautiful but I felt overpriced.

The Cook Islands had always been a dream holiday destination for me and staying at Te Manava made the dream holiday perfect.
We stayed in one of the beachfront villa suites. The villa was very clean and well appointed for a self catering stay. The view of Muri lagoon is fantastic especially at sunrise. A few steps down and you are on the beach. We went in February and saw barely any people on the beach, it was like having your own private beach. Very quiet other than the sound of the sea, beautiful.
The Matutu brewery is a 10 minute walk away, they do an interesting talk and tasters. The nearest place to get supplies was a 10 minute walk in the other direction, a small petrol station, which had everything we needed for our stay.
Free transfers between Te Manava and Pacific Resort if you wanted to go for a meal or drinks there or get closer to more shops.
The spa is brilliant, the girls are very friendly and the services provided are extremely relaxing.
The biggest thank you must go to Teina and Tutu the villa managers. They were a constant source of advice on island life and history, best places to eat or drink out, how to get around the island, places to visit and they booked and arranged all our excursions for us, removing any hassle. We went to see them most days for one thing or another and were always greeted with a friendly Kia Orana and an interest in how our last excursion had gone. Fantastic service and I cannot thank them enough for making our stay perfect.

Wonderful stay, met all our expectations. We had a relaxing time.

We’ve stayed at Te Manava before and had returned to enjoy our stay once again. How wrong we were. We had booked via Te Manava a high end pick from airport when we arrived. No sign of it however our of $30 was cheaper than the $100 Te Manava was going to charge us. Likewise our couples massage booking couldn’t be found for that afternoon. Our introduction to the room was “you’ve stated here before, nothing has changed “ It took several calls to eventually get our room key (1 hour after we arrived).
We you stay at such a high end venue ($750 to $1000 a night) you expect some basics to be included:
1. No free wifi (we had to pay $100 to keep wifi on during our one week stay but no cellular access as the local cell Phone tower had burnt down ??)
2. Our room wasn’t made up daily (our prior stays had this done). When we asked mid week they explained this was a chargeable item but would “allow us one free one”. How gracious of them !
3. Our courtyard had leaves and branches scattered around and in the pool. Never was this cleaned.
4. We had to ask for additional towels from the on site spa area as our own towels were not replaced.
As you would expect we spoke about the above poor service with others locally and they confirmed they had heard similar complaints. We visited other accommodation options during our stay in Muri beach area and discovered better options at less than half the price. We won’t ever go back to Te Manava!

Brilliant place to stay if you want some peace and quiet but still be resonably close to town etc. Great snorkeling outside your door, everything you need in he Villa and wonderful staff. Will return!!

As up to date as any top hotel we've stayed in (and we stay in some good ones). With additional benefits of self contained villa dishwasher / BBQ / two modern bathrooms / own private pool and secluded fenced yard. Raro is somewhere you are often better taking own food and cooking and no where better than here to make you feel on holiday in paradise or make full use of partner hotel Pacific hotels facilities just up the road.

Incredible views, incredible staff. Jane, Todd and Teina are at your service with suggestions, directions and rides. 5 star boutique resort close to everything. Luxurious accommodations with your own private plunge pool. Perfect for couples looking for privacy. Close to incredible snorkeling! The Spa is top notch! Consider renting a scooter for convenience to town. The kitchen is well supplied to do your own cooking. We will be back to visit and stay at Te Manava!

The unit we were booked in was not quite what we had expected, as there was no view of the water...apart from that, it was a beautiful place to spend time, with a great layout, full kitchen, great patio and well equipped. Access to the beach was close. Fantastic place to unplug and relax. We had a few hiccups on the service side, which were remedied and overall we very much enjoyed our stay.
