Older property on the islands, but most others accommodation I saw are also older. This was conveniently located with lots of parking. Big enough rooms. There is well stocked kitchen in the main lobby if you need to do light cooking. Only thing is they also provide rental car option which I could not find anywhere on expedia or the hotel website. So booked mine before booking hotel. Then got email about rental car option. So maybe Expedia can edit that in the about property. Otherwise highly recommended.

A pleasant convenient stay on the outskirt of town. Property has stunning views of countryside to bays and Phillip Island.

The shower was very weak. Very little water pressure. A toaster in the room would have been good and a bigger table. Otherwise soo good.

Seaview Norfolk Island was an excellent place to stay. Very comfortable bed,I mean really comfortable. The shower was excellent (hot water, good amount/pressure), decent size and it's a standalone shower ie not in a bath). Quality toilet paper, and I liked the little green shampoo they provided (there's also conditioner, liquid handwash soap, bars of soap and other stuff including insect killer spray - you do get the occasional flying bug attracted by the light enter your room). Seaview is an easy walk down to Kingston or into Burnt Pine (town where you'll need to go to eat) and also within the radius that Pinetree, Baunti and other tours pick up from. Has a great view from the common kitchen/dining area (hence the name of the place), has a guest laundromat if Norfolk is part of a longer journey and you need to do washing. It's got a pool and a bottleshop is also on the property. There's a fridge in your room & TV by the way. If you rent a car (which you don't need to, you can walk everywhere on the island) there's a pretty big car park.
There is the sound of roosters waking you up, but as someone who walked everywhere, feral chickens (since there are no snakes) are around every place you might stay at.Sure bathroom taps and tiles are old, but they work well. That's all you need.Talking to other people, this is the case everywhere you stay anyway, so if no cracked tiles, freshly painted walls and so forth are a necessity for you, maybe Norfolk Island isn't your destination.

Spacious airy studio apartment with huge covered deck / balcony which has fabulous view and shelters apartment from afternoon sun. Good location.
Would have preferred the more modern cottage as the apartments are very tired and need renovating.

Our room was nowhere nearly as large as expected from viewing the website. While the staff did attend immediately to the bathroom door sticking and locking us in on several occasions, and to the water pump needing priming (we were left with no water for quite a while), the main disappointment was that the swimming pool was not serviceable and had not been for a year. The restaurant is now a bottle shop - only on-site food is breakfast for $18 per person for continental. Road into the property is not maintained.

The reception was rarely manned. Our room was quite nice & bathroom recently renovated. However the pool was green & not available for use. There was no outdoor area that was suitable to sit as our balcony was always in shade & was cold & very breezy. However the property was very convenient to shops & restaurants.

I was very happy with my stay at Seaview. It was quiet and beautiful.
The hotel was going through renovations during my stay so restaurant was closed as well, but that did not bother me at all. I heard no noise from the workers and really had a good rest.
There is a spectacular view of Phillip Island and surroundings.
Burnt Pine is a short walk away with lots of food options and shops.
Cyclorama is even closer and not to be missed.
The hotel arranged my airport transfers and orientation tour via Baunti Tours which offer other amazing experiences as well.
My room was good value for money.
The best part were the friendly staff.

very quite, good dining and breakfast.

The manager is rude and intrusive! He offended a friend and property owner on the island from the initial meeting. He is slow to respond to emails and unhelpful with simple requests.
He spoke rudely to his staff and was noisy and unclean in keeping his room and outside area tidy, which impacted on the stay of other guests. Had the tv blaring until all hours, empty cans strewn in the balcony, and yelled down from his balcony to his cleaning staff at 7am on a regular basis, disturbing paying customers.
The bathroom door did not fully close throughout our stay, resulting in us having to listen to each other in the bathroom, and my 6 year old niece getting stuck in there.
Would not recommend!

Our sea view apartment was just what we needed. We enjoyed watching the sun go down each evening. It was older but very clean and self catering. The beds and seating were comfortable. The manager was always willing to help with any issues that arose.

Spacious cottage which has amazing ocean views. Second TV, internal laundry and pool were great offerings. In an excellent location close to Burnt Pine township and Kingston historic area. Unfortunately the toaster and the oven in the cottage were both not working which constrained our ability to self cater during our stay. Check-in and check-out processes were somewhat disorganised and confusing. Greatest problem with the property though was the lack of any fly screens. In summer you really have to keep most of the windows open to keep the cottage cool and this led to a lot of insects entering, particularly at night. We were consequently constantly attempting to kill flies, moths, mosquitoes and flying cockroaches that had entered the property. Found a large spider at the bottom of my suitcase during my stay which was really unpleasant.

First the view of the Island across to the Ocean is worth the stay along. Apart from that the rooms were comfortable, clean and just right for an Island visit. The staff were amazing, helping with restaurant bookings, sight seeing suggestions and just general friendliness.
They make you feel like a part of the family. The location is just out of town so it's close to get in and around but keeps its privacy as well. WiFi is spotty but that is part of Norfolk's charm.

Thoroughly enjoyed my stay here. The staff were lovely and Liz was happy to oblige my wishes. Loved the use of the free laundry, and the fan and iron/ironing board were very welcome. Also, the view was great. The only problem was a smell from the fridge, maybe from being turned right down with the door closed, but it didn't impact on my stay

From the first welcome to the last farewell the staff were friendly and helpful. The view to Phillip Island is spectacular and being walking distance to the village makes Seaview the perfect hub for a Norfolk Island adventure.

Seaview provided a very comfortable and enjoyable stay on Norfolk Island. Comfortable beds, great view from the room and walking distance to town. A communal kitchen and eating area was great for preparing meals if you didn't want to eat in one of the excellent eating places. Management was very obliging and helpful.

Couldnt have been happier. My wife and I were there on our honeymoon for 2 weeks in a mountain view cottage. The place was clean, spacious and comfy and is an awesome location, close to both the beach and town. If we go back to Norfolk we will definitely stay her again. The only bad thing this place has is that their pictures on their website really dont do the cottages justice, much nicer than the photos!
