Excellent quiet little bungalow near the major road for an easy but seclusive stay. Loved the fresh papaya and tree-ripened bananas every day!

Beautiful place!!

Location was great. The property smelled very musty and everything felt damp. A dehumidifier would have helped in this climate. It was very pricey for this type accommodation. A lot of reviews I read before making my reservation talked about baskets of fruit in their room, this was not the case for our stay.

This is a really good property. The inside is clean with very nice decoration. Outside like botanical garden. And also it is only a few miles to volcano park. Will stay here again if visit here in the future.

We loced the fruit on the room.
It was comfortable and nice.
Instructions to get there were easy.
Thank you for allowing us yo share your space.

Not the same historic feel perhaps as Kīlauea lodge or volcano house, but a great deal; quiet, private and informal.
great little mini-kitchen area w/ coffee and tea etc. Fresh fruit!!
owner worked extra to be sure ho tub was working which i SO appreciated!

Quiet, lush property. Pretty flowers.

We thoroughly enjoyed staying here! The instructions to find the remote location & access were clear & user-friendly. The room was spacious & included extras that made our stay comfortable! Extras included fresh fruit, breakfast bars, coffee, tea & hot chocolate! The jacuzzi tub takes awhile to fill, but included lovely bath products. We wish we had booked an extra night to enjoy the property, but we plan to book here again in the future! Mahalo!

The property was close to the park entrance, easy to come and go. Low maintenance no checkin and checkout. Key in the door when we arrived. Small heater for the room and it rained the two nights we were there. So we needed the heater. Basic fruit, granola bars and yogurt for breakfast. We didn’t spend much time in the room as we were out in the park. A little difficult to find but great little spot

Cozy but comfortable B&B unit, stocked with fruit and some cold/dry goods, dedicated parking, great value for traveling family. Deep in the forest, lovely bird sounds in the evening and morning.

Wasn’t what we expected, it’s in middle of nowhere, looked unsafe and lonely.

I am super impressed with how easy check in was, received an email with specific details. The room was very nice, clean and comfortable. It was extra nice that our breakfast was in the room, especially because we wake up earlier than most guest.
If we ever return to Volcano, we will absolutely be staying here again.
Lots of restaurant options very close, the national park is extremely close too. Overall the perfect stay for my family.

We had a good one night stop. It is not very convenient for shopping or dining but options are available. It is in a beautiful lush green environment and very convenient to visiting the volcano national park

The town of Volcano is very quaint. It is located in a fern forest, so it is very unique. The stay was ok. Had a bed, TV and shower.

This lodge is spectacular. You feel like you are inmersed in nature. Very clean and host was very welcoming. Highly recommend it

The property is beautiful
...like a well kept secret little oasis. My room was perfect...i felt very pampered! Would definitely recommend and hope to stay here again.

Lovely place to stay when visiting Volcanoes National Park. We stayed in room 3 which was comfortable and had a microwave and fridge. Nice touch with having breakfast left of yoghurts, fruits, cereal bars etc. Would recommend.

Clean room in a beautiful, peaceful area. The snacks were an added bonus.

Close to park, beautiful garden, and a very comfortable house.

There was no water pressure to take a shower or use sink for more than 1 minute. With 5 of us it was very difficult to even use toilet at times.
In the morning we tried to return the key and close up. When we entered the door marked office my husband was yelled at by someone to get back. We understand if that is a private area but no instructions were left on where to put key and the large sign saying office made it seem like the place to go.

The hotel accommodation states family style with multiple beds but you will get charged for each extra person beyond two people twenty dollars per person per night. So I was charged extra for my kids. It’s misleading. The door did not lock. And the room had a musty smell. The beds felt damp.

We stayed in the room 6 (Orchid room) and it was such a cool and unique space! Wish we could have stayed longer and would happily return. The breakfast options were great as well for our room.

This place was such a treat to stay at for one night as we toured the island! From the delicious basket of fresh fruit and snacks to the personal touches to make it so welcoming and inviting, was a great stay!! The hot tub was peaceful as it rained outside and we listened to the jungle noises of birds and frogs. Checkin was seamless. We would definitely book here again.

Everything we needed was there. Clean and quiet location very close to the park and the village. The grounds were beautiful. Would stay again.

Our family of four had a great experience staying for one night in Room 5 of this two-story building. Room 5 looks like a furnished two-bedroom apartment. It has a kitchen, a washer/dryer combo, a small dining area, a small TV area, together with a queen bed in one bedroom, and two twin beds in the other bedroom. It's perfect for a small family. The building is also located in a quiet neighborhood.

What a delightful place! Nestled in the tropical rainforest (but just a short walk from the highway, and a close drive to the national park and the charming Volcano Village) Aloha Crater Lodge was by far our favorite of three places we stayed during our trip. Essentially a one-bedroom apartment (among four in the huge building, I believe), all the amenities you might need are included (no stove, but coffee and coffee maker were wonderful, and a wide array of snacks were included; fridge, microwave, etc., all new-looking). Quiet area, quiet neighbors, easy parking, solid internet and TV, and the hot tub (once you find it!) makes you feel like you have truly found (affordable!) paradise. Would absolutely book this place again. Mahalo!

My room was adorable! I loved listening to the frogs at night!

Really quiet and peaceful property! Staff were very nice and helpful and left us fun snacks and fresh fruits to try! Our room was very spacious and clean, only complaint is that it was rather humid and would probably benefit from a dehumidifier. We really enjoyed our stay and definitely recommend as a convenient stay while visiting Volcano National Park

Unique, nestled in forest and conveniently close to Volcano. For room #6, it was more of a glamping situation than a “lodge”. Room #6 was built in foundation area of house, exposed tofu blocks and all. Generally clean, although bed pillows were smelly. Spa and lava tube advertised but host discouraged us from seeing the tube and spa would benefit from maintenance.

Close to the Volcano National Park.

The location was great and the room was great. The snacks were great. The checkin was unclear and the hot tub was hidden without a map so we didn’t find it til the second day and found someone to ask. The lava tube was closed. The volcano erupted while we were there which was amazing!! I was surprised they didn’t tell us to make sure we got to go see. Luckily we heard it on the news or would’ve missed it cause we had just finished being at the volcano earlier that day. The volcano is unbelievable! One of our best life experiences!! Go!!

we had 2 units on the 2nd floor with a spacious deck for family to hang out. the sound of nature with different birds chirping and the lovely plants give you that relaxing, peaceful vibe. would love to come again. recommended to other family members.

Easy check in, adorable little getaway, lots of room and cool jungle setting. Easy trek to National Park, overall great experience.

Everything great. Location to the park is just a couple of miles away. Access to hot tub easy. Only drawback to the location is there are not many food/restaurant options nearby.

Nice cozy space. Appreciated the snack and drink selection. Would stay again!

This was a great place for our family to stay. The space was great with two beds and a small refrigerator and microwave. It was easy to find and a wonderful place!
