This place went far beyond my expectations. I came here for my birthday weekend and was not disappointed. Very friendly staff, our room was very clean and stocked. The view was beautiful and the room was very nice. I would definitely recommend.

The property was lovely. Our room was on the water. Grocery store near by. Prices were fabulous. Restaurants were delightful. The beach was a 5 minute walk..Loved this place. Cozy and warm!

The property was clean and well-maintained with an interesting historic naval feel about it. The rooms are well appointed and quirky, you really feel like youre living in a lighthouse! There's a beautiful seating area downstairs where you feel like you're in an ancient ship on the sea and you can eat freshly made cookies and drink fresh coffee outside on a rocking chair on the verdanda directly on the water! I could say even more but will stop here, go see it for yourself! We had an absolutely wonderful time. ❤️

We LOVE The Lighthouse Club Hotel! This is a small hotel with just a few rooms and is adults only! The location is fantastic! We have stayed here the last few years after staying at another hotel just around the corner previous years. Once we arrive we park our car and can walk to the restaurants, bars, and the beach. Beautiful bay side location right near some protected marshland and just over a couple walking bridges from Fagers Island. We’ve been going to Fagers every summer for the last 18+ years! This year we got an updated room which was very nice and bright. To be honest the bathrooms still need some significant updating and some parts of this hotel show some wear, BUT we love the charm and will be back for sure! They have a cocktail on tap at the main desk, but you need to ask they don’t usually ask you if you want one. Also a great little lounge area next to the front desk that includes a porch right on the water! Check in and was super friendly. If you don’t have one of the upper rooms you will have an adjoining balcony. We just love it here and will definitely be back! One note is the Jacuzzi tub in our room had a wraparound shower curtain and could be pretty difficult to get in and out of for some people.

Me and my girlfriend made our first ever trip together to the hotel. First of all it’s a no kids hotel and I loved that!! As we arrived we were treated a guests immediately with the upmost care and attention. The staff was a very pleasant and accommodating. Was not expecting the champagne as were welcomed at the front desk very nice gesture. The rooms and building I were spotless and well groomed from top to bottom absolutely no complaints about how clean it was. 10/10 experience and I will be going back in the future to the same hotel. What also separates this hotel is its location. It’s not side by side with another hotel it’s by itself once you make that turn from main road and it is right in front of you by the water. That comfort of not having to interact with persons from other hotels or persons walking past on the main road did it for me to be honest. I believe this hotel should be rated 5/5 stars. Worth every penny and I hope others enjoy it as much as we did. The jacuzzi style bathtub was an amazing experience as well as we got the queens size bed which was more than enough for both of us. Despite what the picture shows of the pool believe me it’s clean and beautiful. The image on Google doesn’t do it justice and it’s not small either. We went in August 2024 which is a busy period and they did an amazing job every second we were there. Didn’t feel interrupted at all. Went about our trip and enjoyed it plus the beach is close by as well and definitely recommend it.

Due to a family emergency we had to push our trip back a week and they were very understanding and accommodating. The lighthouse was cool and we had a lovely view from our room, extremely nice staff--kind and very helpful. Fagers Island restaurant was wonderful also.

This is a beautiful hotel close to everything O.C. has to offer but tucked away on the quiet bayfront. The remodeled room was well done and comfortable. Bathroom although nice could use some grout and caulk cleanup and a new cabinet. Decking is a bit rough but didn't stop us from enjoying the water front view and sunsets. The gathering room is beautiful and comfortable and just a nice place to sit with morning coffee, read a book or just gazing out at the view. Staff couldn’t have been friendlier or more helpful. Such a beautiful and relaxing retreat. We will be back!

We had a great trip to OCMD. The man at the front desk was knowledgeable about the area, offered us a complimentary drink upon arrival, and just went out of his way to be kind and thoughtful. The room was clean and had a fantastic view. Lots of small amenities as well like complimentary granola bars and juice as well as fruit & bread in the morning. There was coffee and fresh cookies in the club house and the view from the deck was unbeatable. The room could possibly do with some minor upgrades if you want something more modern but it’s so charming. We will definitely be visiting again!

If you are looking for a very personal feel at a unique location this is your place. It feels like a B&B almost and not really like a hotel. If you are looking for the top of the line amenities and room, this is not the place for you. If you are looking for someplace quite and cozy with amazing views and extremely nice staff, I highly recommend this place.

Very nice! Will stay again. Only thing they couod do better is allow a giuded tour to the rood to look out from the top light house. Would only take 10 minutes of someone's day, but would easily make this the "must go to" place in town!

Overall room stay was good, room wasn’t cleaned at all meanwhile when we got there to check in we were told it’s not ready and they’ll call us when they’re done cleaning which we never got the call after waiting another hour we asked the front desk if we could check in which he wasn’t very friendly the couch was disgusting just not what we expected after paying $600 for a night.

20 years ago, this place was stellar! But now the rugs are worn and stained, bathrooms show their age, and furniture looks worn. The best thing about this place is the club room with the wraparound porch right on the water. The club room with his brick floors and period furniture is still pretty darn awesome. So if you don’t mind average, and you want a great view then that’s the place to stay.

Our stay here was wonderful, took my boyfriend to the beach for his birthday and we loved the hotel. It’s tucked back bayside so it’s nice and quiet away from the chaos with a beautiful view. Loved having a bay view balcony and the room was clean and cozy. No complaints whatsoever. Staff was nice and gave us a welcome cocktail which was a nice unexpected twist. Nice ample parking to top it off.

Beautiful facility. The suite we stayed in was huge and comfortable. Every bit of our suite and common areas were very clean. The views of the sunset were spectacular. The only issue we had, which thoughtful packing solved, was there was no ceiling fan or ac vents near our bed. Thankfully we brought mini fans and plugged them in next to us. We will def return in the future.

The place is in a great location. The room was great, the view was beautiful. The service was great. I've stayed at this hotel quite a few times. There were some noticeable changes. The people at the front desk were not really friendly and yelled at the staff in front of the guests. I felt bad for them. I think any in house issues should be addressed behind closed doors. Other than that I had a great stay. I definitely recommend this place.
