Beautiful Inn with friendly and helpful personnel. Dine in at their first class Resturant and go for a night cap at the Pub. Overall good experience.

Beautiful old hotel. Very old Florida. Very relaxing.

It’s a beautiful inn that is in meticulous condition. Loved the decor and the cleanliness. The staff were all very friendly and helpful. Would definitely stay here again

Was not warned of large party that was noisy right under our room.

Loved the charm of this historic Inn. It is in walking distance of everything in Apalachicola and a short drive to St. George Beach. The Inn is very clean and our bed was super comfy. The room was a tad smaller than what we expected but it did not bother us.

We were not anticipating having to go up a flight of stairs, let alone 2 flights of stairs. However, the young lady at the desk accommodated us on the 2nd floor but even that was too much for stairs for us to handle at this time. There were 16 stairs which is not the average flight of stairs. However, we stayed one night and asked to be relieved of the following night. It was very disappointing, as we had wanted to stay 2 nights, but just couldn't do the stairs. The girl tried to find us a room on the 1st floor but there were none available. Had I known that this was going to be an issue? I would not have booked here.

Great Inn, staff was very friendly and helpful. The rooms are "cute" and whimsical.

We love staying at the Gibson! Such a sweet place! I will note, I called the date of check in to confirm that everything was good to go for checking in that eveing and the woman who answered the phone was very rude. I’ve never experienced that with the Gibson, so it caught me off gaurd. That was the only negatice experience though, other than that it wad amazing as always!

Enjoyed our stay in Apalachicola. We will return.

What an exceptional escape from the real world! This beautiful property is a whimsical time capsule that has married old world charm and modern amenities. From exploring the local shops and enjoying the fresh seafood to biking the historic neighborhoods on the complementary bicycles, every moment of our two day visit was enjoyed! Highly recommend this Upper Gulf Coast hidden gem!

Beautiful property! Adding another building, so noise may be a problem during the week. Very friendly and helpful staff. Great location.

Most things were pretty good about our stay, it was clean, close to a lot of things to do, and located in what felt like a safe area.
My only problems were we got charged 16$ for 2 water bottles that we did not ever see or request in anyway. We also called a day ahead and asked about early check in and were told as long as the room was ready we could check in but we we arrived early we were told the room was ready but it would be a 50$ charge for any check in before 3pm. And the final issue was the rooms were not sound proof and we were located right by the entrance and could hear people come and go and doors open and close all night.

Check in stunk. There was no one at desk for 30 minutes to help. We were so tired. The manager finally came and found someone. He did give us a free drink for the trouble.
The property is lovely except for construction. It's a great location. We paid big bucks for 2 rooms, at least have one free bottle of water and more than 1 coffee pod and no stir stick. I had to use my toothbrush for the morning. Saturday night and the bar closing at 10 pm did not make us happy. .

Expected way more, staff friendly and very acommodating, very limited food choices way overpriced for what they offer. The hotel looks charming, but needs some tender loving care

Very pleasant staff and clean. Antique ambiance. Nice restaurant in hotel and great barside shucked oysters at the restaurant right across the street! Shared wrap around balcony with a fresh coastal breeze. Minimal view or ocean or bay feom porch but beautiful views just a two minute walk away! Some minor maintenance being performed on building as to be expected for and antique estate. Enjoyed my stay very much.

Awesome!

It was loud at night, other guests were sitting next to our room on the balcony talking loudly until very late.
Hotel is situated next to the main street, street noise was heavy until about 9pm.
House keeping forgot to put water in our room and then charged us for missing bottles.
Towels were not replaced even though used towels were on the floor.
Stingy replacement of products.
When making a complaint the girl at the front desk just made sure things were done properly, no apology though.
I would not go back there.

Wonderful staff; adequate room. Restaurant was great. Lots of construction going on right on the property. TV - terrible.

A very nice hotel. Stayed in the “Buck House”, new rooms with an “old time” look. Fully updated, dual head shower. Nice bar and restaurant. Hotel is located conveniently to downtown shops and restaurants

Gibson Inn has the charm of a B&B and convenience of a good hotel. Very charming atmosphere, fun bar and bikes and golf carts good for exploring.

Lovely hotel and staff! Lots of vintage and retro furniture and art. Our room (218) had a wonderful bed and nice bathroom. The amenities and towels are great quality. Loved the Nespresso machine with coffee in the room. This hotel was perfect for an overnight and perfectly located to walk eat and shop!!! Thank you especially to Eva- she was so helpful and really nice!!!

Charming, historic hotel. Our room was fabulous! Not huge but so comfy and updated.
The hotel bar is cozy and the food was amazing. Great staff! Would 100% stay again.

Beautiful old hotel. My room was small (but less expensive!) but has a newer marble bathroom. Very good mattress. Dinner at the Franklin Cafe on site was very good but a bit pricey. A nice escape from Tallahassee at the end of the week.
4.4
Stay was excellent in this inn. Everything was spectacular from the cleanliness to its rustic appearance. The only solitary thing I can say is that we received a room next to the main stairwell that received much foot traffic.
4.4
Hotel is a historic and immaculate hotel right in the middle of charming Apalachicola.
4.4
I am so glad we stayed here! Beautiful in every way. Wonderful staff and the beds were perfect. I will definitely stay here again!

The Gibson Inn is very quaint and quiet
4.4
No parking available….just street parking and now impossible because of the seafood festival that we did not know about, neither was alerted of.
2 spiders in the room!
A charming old hotel that has been on the bucket list
but did not live up to the expectations!
4.4
The electronics are too complicated and did not work. The TV is incomprehensible unless specific instructions are provided, and they are not. The AC is complicated.
