A great little inn right in the middle of Newport. We were able to walk to everything we wanted to do (some walks were longer, but it's a walkable place so we enjoyed it). Rooms were nice and the small breakfast bag delivered to the room each morning was great. The only downside is that it's not the quietest place. We had the room closest to the street and bar next door and it was quite loud late into the evening. Other rooms further away may be better. They did provide ear plugs and a sound machine, which was nice, but even then it was noticeable (luckily we're heavy sleepers). Only other negative note was that the wifi was painfully slow. Luckily we weren't trying to work or anything, but we ended up just using our cell signal for data for most of the trip. Not sure if it was just a fluke or if it's always like that.

The inn is lovely and the location convenient. The rooms are very clean. The parking lot is a little tight, especially if you have a larger vehicle. Fortunately we do not. If you want to be in the heart of shopping and dining in Newport, stay here.

We stayed in the Eve Suite which had a separate bedroom and a kitchenette. It was perfect. Free parking is behind the bldg and reserved for Inn guests only. A delicious breakfast of warm, fresh pastry and yogurt parfait was delivered to our room each morning. The location is central to everything, very walkable. We walked to most all the activities that we had scheduled. I would absolutely return on another visit.

Our stay was great! We were a little uneasy reading previous reviews about the pub next door, but our room directly overlooked the pub and we could barely hear anything - and that was over Labor Day Weekend. Noise machines and ear plugs were provided just in case, though! The room was neat and clean and the staff was friendly, accommodating one of our party members with gluten free pastries clearly labeled each morning. The pastries (both normal and GF) were delicious and piping hot every morning. I would recommend the Inn to anyone!

Our room in the main Inn (#3) was plenty big enough for our family of 4 with two teens. We stayed on a Thursday night and although O'Brien's right next door had loud live music playing and crowds until midnight , our AC unit helped mask the noise well enough. But I can see how this might not work for others, and a Friday or Saturday crowd might be worse in some ways. Overall, we enjoyed our 1-night visit. The location was perfect to access all downtown Newport offered on foot. Great to have parking on-site, as well. Would definitely stay again.

Lovely and charming inn. Beautiful, clean and spacious suite. Located in the heart of historic Newport waterfront and walkable to everything. Staff was incredibly welcoming and friendly. The daily delivery of fresh baked pasties and yogurt parfait to our room was a very special touch. Highly recommend and look forward to returning!

Our stay at the Bouchard in was comfortable, however, upon arrival there were a couple of things that affected our stay. We noticed stains on our pillow and the comforter, as well as a loose hair. Additionally, there were dead and live bugs in our room. We immediately requested to have our pillow and comforter cleaned, however, it was not done so even though we were promised it would be changed. Lastly, the AC unit in the room was extremely loud keeping us up at night. However, overall, the stay was comfortable and located in a great area.

After check in, we never saw a staff member again. The room was in worn condition, of of the window blinds was completely broken, the carpet was not clean, and the pillows were completely bizarre. On the positive side, the towels were changed daily but on one day, the cleaners didn't come until close to 4pm.

This was a last minute overnight and it was the perfect trip. The room was beautiful and comfortable The room offered a mini fridge with water, juice and milk for coffee, oh that was included in price! I loved the cloth makeup wipes so much that I looked to see if I could find on line. The continental breakfast was not your typical continental breakfast. It was a warmed fresh pastry with yogurt and fruit, delicious!!

Good location, friendly staff and plenty of charm. As it's an older property (which gives the authenticity, location and ambiance) it also means more difficult access with suitcases, bathrooms are a little smaller and A/C is internal.

A beautiful property well kept in a great location. Only con we found was the issue with the doors. All door locks including bathroom and bedroom don’t work. Also the main door to the building had issues.

Simple and yet classy at the same time. Breakfast was a great touch without the “touch”, leaving it outside the room on platform for us to grab and inclusive. Could smell the chocolate croissant through the door and they included yogurt with fruit. Parking was included and simple to access the hotel/inn. Location was a good location to walking the town and its normal places to visit.

The owner and management staff were excellent. We just wished we had known that this property was right next door to a bar. And I mean right next door. Sleeping at night was very challenging. We should have expected something was up when we saw ear plugs on the night stand. We would not stay here again although management handled this appropriately.

The property was close to the stores and was Walkable to restaurants. The room was nice and the free breakfast was really good a fresh hot pastry. The bed was comfortable but the water pressure was poor. We may stay again mainly due to the location.

The hotel was clean and so convenient to downtown. The noise was not an issue for our family but I could see how it easily could be for other guest. The fresh morning pastries were a wonderful touch.

The inn was cute and cozy. The location was within walking distance to so many cute shops and restaurants. But what topped everything off for us was the wonderful service provided by Carmen. We arrived late so she stayed late to make sure we made it there okay. She was on the phone with us as we arrived to guide us to the parking area and help us get settled in, even though she could have just given us instructions via text or email. We appreciated that so much. We will definitely stay here again, when we visit the area again.

Such a great place to stay! Last minute trip to Newport and we were lucky to get one of the last rooms. Very clean, very comfortable, very friendly staff! Wish we had known about the restaurant on site, absolutely cannot get in without a reservation and they sell out.

We met one staff member and she was extremely helpful. Our room was spacious and very clean, the bathroom although could do with some updating (but equally as clean). Only negative would be the access and very steep stairs (but appreciate that what comes with historic buildings).

Cute Inn in the middle of all the fun! Very walkable to shops and restaurants but still quiet at night. Delicious pastries delivered to your door every morning and convenience of a coffee machine in the room. Had a great stay!
