Very charming hotel, updated, clean and comfortable.

It looks renovated, nice small room, we loved it

Clean, comfortable, spartan, but efficient and functional. Excellent coffee and owner is proactive offering good customer service. Close to the road so easy to find.
4.9
It was a very pleasant stay, What a nice little motel. Comfy and nostalgic. Very Americana!
4.9
Tiny room, paper thin walls, cramped parking, lousy coffee service. The "Retro" thing is cute, but I could have stayed eles where for the same cost and had a real room with better parking and coffee.
4.9
The owners have made this the perfect stop for outdoorsy folks. It is comfortable, well appointed and is chocked full of thoughtful ways to make your stay restful and enjoyable. Thanks Hannah and Dan! I'll be back for sure.

Check in was done electronically, and the hotel automatically sent check in info when we were on late side of arrival time. Parking was not plentiful and very little room to maneuver, but the property otherwise was very nice, clean, cozy.

Fun motel in Durango. Redone in a modern way but also had some cool 70’s feel. Rooms were spotless, staff was great, and pour over coffee in the room was such an awesome touch.
4.9
The shower head was awkward wouldn’t move. No coffee filters. No one is ever in the office you have to call a number but other than that it was good!
4.9
Nice soap products. Very cute, room has everything well thought out!

We love this place. Been staying here for years. When the original owners sold the motel we were devistated. So for us to find out that new owners bought it and kept thee siesta going (but new and improved,) we couldn’t wait to book a stay. The new ownership has done a really nice job modernizing the place but keeping the original feel.

Check out time was 11am. We went to breakfast, when we came back at 9:30am they were already cleaning are room. I wish they would have waited until we checked out.

Good, clean, updated hotel. Allowed for early check in. Will stay here again. Brand new AC units that work great!!

We had a fabulous stay at Siesta Motel! Their suite was perfect and affordable for our family of five. The staff was welcoming and accommodating and the rooms were clean. We also loved the fun decor! I’m sure we’ll be back next time we’re in Durango!

This motel has character in the best sense. Fun decor, comfortable beds, and friendly staff. If we pass through Durango again we'll return.
4.9
Great stay. Wish we could have taken advantage of the hotel bikes. There is also a free shuttle to downtown from near the hotel.
4.9
The stay was good, we had a late checkin and they texted us our room information & code to get in. Easy checkout.

We love staying here. This is our third visit to the Siesta Motel. Love the Gazebo. and used the outdore gas grill everyday.

This is a very cute, recently updated, classic motel. The owner/staff were very accommodating and made my stay very pleasant. While I didn’t use the available rental bikes, I was impressed by the fact that they had them.
The surrounding area would benefit by some of the other motel owners taking the same degree of pride in their properties as Siesta Motel does.

This sweet motel has that awesome vintage retro feel with all the modern comforts! The owners have done a fantastic job renovating the place while keeping a unique reminiscent charm. It is small with only a few rooms available, so if you're on the fence, you better book it fast!

We booked the family room and it was perfect for our family of 6, nicely renovated. Has everything you need for your stay, April at the front desk was super nice and helpful. Thank you!
4.9
The staff was incredibly friendly and we loved the free use of their bicycles to get into Durango. It’s a lovely funky hotel and a great place to use as home base for your adventures.
4.9
The shower never really warms up. If your neighbor flushes their toilet, your toilet flushes itself. I can see light all around the front door (makes me think of mice and bugs). It wasn’t a restful place…like sleeping in a storage room. I was told that I could change my reservation. NOPE. You have to wait till you get to the hotel and then there’s nothing left. These rooms are going for $205.00 per night. No pool, hot tub, vending machines, ice, continental breakfast. Also, you can hear conversations in the rooms on either side of you. I took calls outside so I wouldn’t bother people.

Owner was super nice, room was newly renovated & super cozy. Will be back for our next trip!!

Nice cute little motel, Americana vibe. Very cozy and friendly staff. Great location as well.
4.9
Very nice independent motel. Am on a long motorcycle trip and love to park right outside my room. Rooms seem to have been redone recently. Wall heaters are turned off but portable electric ones are provided and worked well. I missed the fact there was no fridge in my room but that was not a big deal. Overall a very pleasant one night stay.

The owners were friendly and helpful but I paid almost $250 for 1 night and it was worth half that. The parking was awful. The room was tiny. The bathroom was also tiny. The room had inadequate outlets. I think that the price was so high because I went through expedia. I felt I highly overpaid.
4.9
Wasn’t what we were expecting but the owners were so friendly. Despite the outdated decor, it was super clean.
4.9
Friendly family-owned motel. The motel is very clean and well maintained with lovely touches that made the stay feel more like home. Free WIFI and painted furniture that matched the wall paper. And the staff was very welcoming and personable and willing to answer any question.

I loved this slightly shabby place with unusual Mexican-type decorations on the walls. Reception was very welcoming and the room was clean, comfortable and quiet.

The owners of this hotel were wonderful and accommodating. Big changes to come in January which will even better improve the hotel, would definitely stay agsin

The staff was friendly, the room we had was right on the street and very noisy. The room was "worn" looking, dated, some disrepair. There were bugs dead in the area where a washer/dryer appeared to be. The bed was not the most comfortable and had a upholstered headboard, which is not very presentable or cleanly. Be aware, if you make a reservation it will cost you $35 dollars to cancel. I cancelled my next 3 and cost me $35 each, because we would not be back.

Excellent very well maintained property. Quite comfy bed and shower. Management incredible with lots of smiles. Parking just a few steps from the door. Will always stay here !

We loved the location as well as being able to park in front of our room. We met the owners and they are delightful and took good care of us. We will return.

We were lucky to get to stay at this place! We had the room with the full kitchen and separate bedroom. Beds were comfortable, pillows were great, super hot water and water pressure! Bikes to rent as well for the close by shops and restaurants. The new owners were great and very accommodating! It’s a little on the older side but was comfortable. I’m sure the new owners will continue to update things! Can’t wait to stay again!

The property has been recently purchased by a lovely young couple. I received a phone call to confirm my a stay and she told me about check in etc. The gentleman, checked us in, very informative and friendly. I told him we were going to the Brew Fest and he said he was too! He would be introducing the main act. The room was very clean and so so so cute. The bed was very comfortable. They're was even a black rag in the bathroom for wiping off make up, which was nice. I ran into the owner at the Brew Fest and he recognized us and sounds with us for a bit. Super friendly couple and a very nice little motel. I'll stay here every time I go to Durango.
