Walking distance to airport
4.1
35 degrees near the bathrooms and less than 20 degrees in the room.

The cost is ridiculously high, over $400 AUD for 8 hours.
A 20cm step down from the bathroom into the room is extremely dangerous.

We had a 10 hour overnight layover in Terminal 2, so this was the best and about the only option with a private bed/room and shower. You definitely pay a premium for the convenience with the hourly packages available. We read several reviews about the great service received, to which we regrettably did not experience at check in or during our stay. The staff at the front counter had a cold and unhospitable demeanor, we had to wait about a minute to get acknowledged upon arrival and did not feel welcomed. We were promptly told our checkout time to the minute, while the staff waited impatiently as we debated whether we wanted to add on an extra hour for $25. Granted it was close to midnight, but a smile and a warm greeting would go a long ways for guests on long journies in transit. The room was clean and comfortable with essential amenities provided, but beware of extra noise as we had bear with nearby rooms being cleaned and vacuumed with the constant quick turnovers at this hotel. The food selection and quality of the included breakfast at the Ambassador Lounge was poor. We were disappointed with this overall unpleasant experience and note to self to look elsewhere for a restful sleep and premium lounge on future transits through Changi.

Couldn't enter property after leaving security

A terrible tiny little room with worn furniture . I know it was a transit hotel but really overpriced and very very ordinary.

Good

Convenient location. Staff was very helpful

My room was upgraded at no extra cost because of noisy building work.

Perfect way to recover between two longhauls.
4.1
Excellent as a transit hotel but a little expensive.

Although, it took us a bit to locate the hotel in the terminal. We were very pleased with the welcoming from the front desk and our room. It’s definitely convenient for an early morning flight out of Changi airport.

Expensive

Small Room without any window or natural light.
Customer should receive directions info to be sure to find the hotel easily.

The cleanliness needs to improve and the breakfast is very limited.

I like facilities in the bath room. It would be nice if we could get facial tissue paper in the room.

I arrived at 1 am and there was one front desk with a long line of customers to check in. The room is overall ok and has the basic needed equipment.

The ambassador transit hotel was perfect for our overnight 14 hour layover. The receptionist was welcoming, and our room had all the amenities we needed to wake up fresh in time for our next flight. If it’s late there are also a lot of food options - including McDonald’s, Subway and several asian restaurants that you could walk to 1 minute away! I would definitely book it again if we’re in a long transit.

It was a pleasant surprise to stay in a room that was bigger than I expected in an airport. The bed was super comfortable and and shower was spacious. I definitely enjoyed my stay! They also gave me complimentary breakfast and lunch.

I wish I had a 9-hour option besides a 6-hour 12-hour option

Customer service was non-existent. So much so, I didn’t manage to check in. Called them to advise this and they said they couldn’t do nothing about it.
4.1
There was no shower gel or shampoo in the dispenser. Only discovered this when I was in the shower. Basic amenities which were unfortunately overlooked and I had a flight to catch. Caused me much annoyance and inconvenience.

clean-great staff- meal was very good

I never got to stay there. I had a flight arriving at 1:00 AM and booked this room thinking we would stay the night in hte airport, then go on to our hotel with a reservation for the next night. The check in timing arrival at night of the date booked, so looked questionable. I sent a question to the hotel, but got no reply. Upon arrival you were directed through immigration and baggage claim and then were out of the airport and not permitted to return.

Perfect for an overnight transit

What a great idea to have a hotel inside the secure area of the terminal. No need to clear customs and immigration for an overnight stop. You can book for as little as 6 or 12 hours if required.
4.1
Convenient and comfortable for overnight stay, while in transit to the next flight destination.

No issues

The AC in the room was portatil and did not cool.
The bathroom was dirty. Someone's used and they didn't clean after this.

Convenient place to lay your head if you have to stay overnight in Changi.

Beware!
1. This is a Transit Hotel. My wife and I travel a great deal, and have stayed at Airport Hotels in many countries but the key to this Hotel is the word Transit. This means you get 6 hours from the time you check in until you leave. Revo the manager stepped in and we purchased an additional 5 hours at $25.00 u.s. per hour but the total cost in Canadian for a night was nearly $500 Canadian. We stayed the first night at the Crown a normal Hotel meaning 24 hour day so to speak for far less and a great Hotel. Apparently according to Revo this misunderstanding happens all the time. Revo saved the day from being a total disaster.
2. We ate (tried to) supper and breakfast at the Hotel and it was not good.
3. Very Noisy, apparently construction taking place in the airport.
4. Stay at The Crown Plaza, a great normal so to speak place. It’s in Terminal 3, easy access by the train at no charge.
4.1
Great location for transit stays as it is located in the terminal. Inclusive breakfast dishes were only left with tiny bite, so was insufficient. Just annoyed by some construction noise after the midnight. But overall convenient and can save time for sleep.
