Another relaxing and enjoyable stay at Akana. Staff are always extremely helpful and friendly, the rooms clean and private, and the location quiet and convenient. Highly recommended.

Great place in Sanur, close tot the beach and small restaurants. There is a M Mart across the road, if you want to buy some snacks or bottle water. Breakfast is a bit dull, compared to the standard of the hotel. Thanks for a great stay!

We found all the staff at Akana to be exceptionally friendly , they did all they could to make our stay perfect. And it was ! From housekeeping to the cafe and front desk - we were treated so well. Thank you to everyone at Akana and we’ll see you again. 🙏🙏

Ticks so many boxes as other people have note.Food was very ordinary. Despite a reasonably wide selection at breakfast, the so called hot food was mostly cold. The Thursday bbq was an exerting mismanagement from lost booking, the taking of the orders Indifferent quantity. Pizza ordered for room service was worse than horrible. In future stays we will opt for quality hotels that can deliver on promises.

Many aspects of the Akana Boutique Hotel were amazing. The great staff, room and location. The food , however wasn't so good. The prices are reasonable but hot dishes are never hot, pizza was absolutely so bad we threw most of two pizzas in the bin and the theme night bbq was a joke. Total disorganisation along with indifferent food. Could be great but not nearly there yet.

Nice hotel, but with limited space for suntanning for those whom prefer that. Value for money. Good breakfast and fairly close to the beach where the hotel has their own beach area. Unfortunately we didn't get this info before our last night. Shower / bathroom could have been more tidy and without mold

If you want to relax, don’t go to this hotel ! I had an army of kids screaming around the swimming pool and noisy from 5am to 11.30pm in the stairs in the room above my head… For the rest, very nice staff excepted there was some opened drink left in the fridge when I arrived.

When I returned the hotel late on my second night, I felt the warm hospitality of the hotel staff when I saw an elephant figurine made from folded towels on my bed and a handwritten "thank you" note.

3rd stay at Akana and it's great that the hotel has actually got better. Breakfast now has more options and a buffet area of cereal, toast and pastries. Proper coffee is also free flowing. Rooms still in VGC. Staff still very friendly and helpful. Great area to stay with heaps of good restaurants close by.

The Akana had everything we needed, very comfortable bed, soft towels, spacious room overlooking the pool, good bathroom, and good service. The hotel is in a quiet area of Sanur with restaurants and Warungs in easy walk of the hotel. It is a 5 to 10min walk to the beach depending on which road you take. There are also many small shops and a medium size supermarket in easy walk from the hotel. Overall a very pleasant stay with everyone at the hotel making it memorable.

Staff made you feel really welcomed. Small hotel so very personal service. Rooms were large and clean. Pleasant surprise was hot water in the sink and good pressure and hot water in the shower. In Asia this not always the case. The pool area was very relaxing.

Stayed here for 2 nights as it’s in the area of the port for ferry’s and my next stop was Nusa Lembongan. Really happy that I chose to stay in Sanur and I picked the perfect hotel for it! Akana is beautiful, didn’t see one bit of dirt the whole time I was there. Staff are very attentive and will go above and beyond for you but also leave you to your own devices. The pool is beautiful, the restaurant area is great and the food was fantastic. There are so many great bars and restaurants within 5/10 minutes walk. The hotel have bikes and scooters that you can use for free. Never used a scooter before so I used a bike and cycled to the beach for sunrise. Plenty of markets nearby, places to book excursions, supermarkets/convenient stores, bars, restaurants, beaches. Perfect location and perfect hotel. Thank you for such a beautiful stay.

What makes this hotel perfect is the staff, the location and the property. It’s an oasis from the busy street that is just around the corner so shopping, spas, tour guides, massages, other restaurants/bars and the beach are all walkable. Or you can use one of the free bicycles they provide. The room is big, clean and a very comfortable with a king bed, work area, large walk in shower, stocked mini fridge, robes and flip flops… and the pool view was wonderful with a private balcony, sofa and drying rack so we could reuse our towels and dry our swim suits. The people here are excellent and always welcome you and ask how everything is going. Any issues and they solve it. Bintang beer is offered by the bucked for an amazing Price as is the 2 for one happy hour drinks. We are many of our meals at Selada Restaurant that is part of the hotel. Great selection of food and we never had any stomach issues. The a la cart breakfast and buffet was perfect and made to order. Eggs and stuff or an Bali breakfast. You won’t be sorry if you stay here and get a pool view room. We loved it.

Fantastic little boutique hotel in the quiet end of Sanur. We had a pool access room and it was lovely. Comfortable bed, big room and outside bathroom and it was soundproof. Highly recommend.
