Place is being renovated but is still worth staying in . Nice breakfast and helpful front desk staff

Environmental footprint:
Minus: No policy for when to wash towels or not; no provisions for waste separation at the source
Plus: Natural ventilation (nice window) and recomendation for avoiding air-conditioning

You get what you pay for. It was a bargain stay.

Apart from the very good breakfast, this Ibis Budget was not up to the standard that is usually set. The premises were run down and dirty. There was no bath mat. It fronts onto a freeway ramp so is difficult for taxis and ubers to access
3.5
room is small the space for the desk is not business friendly. only one plug in the room. not enough coat hangers for several days stays.
not tea or coffee in the room. there is only one person to cover both reception and breakfast in the morning.

It’s too far out from centre. Plus lots broken items in room

This Ibis is a good value. It is basic, but all that is needed is in place. A comfortable clean bed, good housekeeping and hot shower. It was especially good to have very decent air conditioning during the incredibly hot spell that hit Europe. The sfaff was helpful and supportive and English speaking. For basic travel at a fair price I highly recommend.

My stay was really decent, especially since this was the most affordable and available Hotel at such a short notice therefore it was really convenient so I was happy with it.

Good place to stay, public transport is easy to access either right out front or using the crossings easy to access or from 20 min walk to the l'amphitheatre - cite internationale.
There is always someone in reception and mainly dealt with Harvey (very friendly and helpful) when I had some questions. Room is decently sized but mattress was a bit too hard for my liking. Bathroom is a bit small but has what ypu need. It has a shower, sink, toilet, mirror and a power socket. There is a desk in the room with a stool if needed and a Tv as well as a long vertical mirror. There is also adjustable Air-conditioning if needed.

It’s always true what people say, you got what you paid for . It looked nothing like the photos.

You can't argue with the great price. I basically showered and slept there and spent all my time outside. The halls upstairs reeked so much of cigarettes you'd think smoke was being pumped in. One day I came back from work and my room smelled strongly of smoke. My bottle of Tylenol 3/codeine for back pain went missing. The front door handle was so dirty I wanted to use a Kleenex to open it. This was at odds with super friendly staff and clean rooms and foyers. I guess you can have customers who smoke in the hall in any hotel. Would I stay again, probably.

The Hotel was OK, not bad but not fantastic. Reception lady very friendly and helpful once we got into to hotel but the negatives were
1) Checking in with a car is very difficult - nowhere to pull up. If you try to get into the hotel's chargeable car park before you check in you can't because you neeed to know the access code which is only available after you have checked and paid for the car park. This necessitates blocking the car park entrance or else trying to back out onto a very difficult road. Correspondingly you have to pull up & block all the traffic illegally and are more or less obliged to pay for parking so that you can move your car and have time to get the bags out. Frustrating when you know that there is free on street parking nearby but you haven't had the time to find it.
2) The room reeked of cigarette smoke when we returned in the evening. It hadn't when we checked in but definitely did when we got back. I felt like it was coming through the bathroom somehow.
3) It was a bit of a hike out of town although there was a regular bus service from just outside at Euro2.20 each way. I felt some more information as to how to use the buses and how to buy tickets etc would have been helpful. After all, almost every visitor doesn't know the area or the transport system.

It was inexpensive and had a good breakfast. Maybe a bit noisy, but just bring earplugs

Room looks old and the first thing I saw was spider webs... a bit loud-I would suggest to regulate window.

We were a bit disappointed when we first saw the room but then we realised it was a budget Ibis. The room was clean, the bed comfortable, but the location was not what we were expecting. As we didn't have our own transport we wondered what we would so on the day in Lyon but we found the Cite Internationale quite close & managed to spend a nice day exploring that & the Modern Art Museum it contained. We thought a bath mat & hair dryer could have been provided.

Tired property overall, but very inexpensive and the room was clean. Air conditioning did not work making sleeping uncomfortable.

Clean, nice staff and close enough to the town. :)

It was ok but there arent many nice places to eat near this hotel. They did have free parking and there is a nice bar and supermarkets near by.

This is a perfectly acceptable budget hotel. This means that you are paying for a bed, shower and TV rather than posh furniture and extra staff. I have stayed here many times now and have nothing bad to say about it. It is not in a great neighbourhood but is ten minutes walk across the bridge to the Tête d’or park which is wonderful.

Very comfortable. Friendly staff, good breakfast and easy access to the centre of Lyon.

It is a room. But the lady in reception double charged me and so far they didnt return my money back.

This was our favorite hotel. Perfect location! Staff and customer service was exceptional! Martial and his staff were very helpful whenever we needed assistance. The hotel is right next to the bus stop which could take you downtown. The hotel is really close to a laundromat and restaurants. Expect great quality restaurants for a cheap price in the location. Always came back to a clean room and the bathroom was big! We cant wait to come back!
