Another amazing stay at this one of a kind hotel in Williamsport. I cannot recommend this enough for any traveler to have a great and unique stay in North Central Pennsylvania. I felt like I was in an upscale Manhattan Loft for the night.

The place was unique, very comfortable. The shower room only had one shower head in the ceiling. I would have preferred a hand held shower too. The floor was a bit slippery and it would have been nice to have handicap bars

I can’t say enough good things about this hotel. From the owners (Sandy and Miranda) to the staff (especially Miss Fawn) to the absolutely amazing rooms. This hotel was perfect! The attention to design and detail that was put into the restoration of this historic landmark are incredible. The hotel was beautiful, the rooms were stunning, everything was so CLEAN and quiet. There’s plenty of parking. Walking access to anything you could want, including tons of delicious restaurants, a local coffee shop, a Starbucks, an AMC movie theater, even Kohls. It was such a wonderful experience that we extended our stay an additional night, just so we could enjoy a day relaxing at this PERFECT hotel. We travel A LOT (10 states in the last 10 days alone) and this the best place we’ve ever stayed. If you have the opportunity to visit Williamsport, I highly recommend staying at City Hall Grand Hotel.

I find it bizarre that no one greets you when you check-in. Everything is done remotely. It's a contactless facility, which I think is extremely bad. My hotel door was on the first floor. There was a lot of noise and talking, so we couldn't sleep all night. My family is pretty easygoing, but your hotel was terrible, so my daughter couldn't stay the night. It was too loud and noisy, and she preferred to go to her dorm.

A really great place to stay in Williamsport.

This place is so cool with the architecture and room themes. The Old Corner Hotel just one block down the street had excellent food and drinks. Will definitely stay there next year for the Little League World Series.

We came in for the Little League World Series. We had an excellent time. The hotel is top notch. 1 block off the downtown strip. There are plenty of restaurants within walking distance. We Door Dashed 2 nights. Delivery within 30 minutes. There were plenty of food options from which to select.
On a great note, we met the owner, Sandy and her staff. Very hospitable and welcoming. Offered there services for anything we needed.
We will be coming back to the City Hall Hotel on our next visit to Williamsport. The hotel is 2 miles from Howard J. Lamade stadium.

There was no staff or service for me to rate on the premises but overall, this was such an easy and exceptional service. Such a beautiful room!

I’m so glad we chose this hotel. It’s a cool slice of history that’s been lovingly restored. The room we stayed in (Council room) was modern and comfortable, yet the history of the hotel still shone through. The owner Sandy is so nice and clearly cares about each guests experience. One of my fav hotel stays ever!

We were spending a weekend upstate and decided to break our trip up over two days. This gem of a hotel was different than your normal hotel - in the best way. The rooms are incredibly unique and gorgeous. Half the fun was picking what themed room we wanted to stay in. We ended up staying in the Flood Room.
The virtual check in is a great idea and when we did see staff they were very pleasant. Overall, we had a great time here and would probably stay again if ever in the area!

Fantastic historic preservation

The way that City Hall has incorporated the original structure and purpose of the building into the decor is ingenious and really beautiful. The room was beautifully appointed. I was disappointed that the restaurant in the hotel is closed - not sure why - until further notice. Also I could hear every conversation and movement in the room above me from the vents. That was a little annoying. But overall it was a charming place to stay in a charming town.

Love the uniqueness of this hotel. The rooms are unusual but functional. Town is walkable with restaurant options nearby.
Only complaint was crying baby next door. Not the hotel's fault but a little more soundproofing for that would be nice.

Any time we needed anything, Miranda was there for us in a quick second. The check-in and check-out processes are fully automated... And the area is so lovely! The room (the Red Cross Suite) even had the old vault door from City Hall as it's closet door! So cool! And the claw-foot tub was so great and had sauna features, too! Who ever heard of a claw-foot sauna?!
We thoroughly enjoyed our stay here and will be coming back!

We truly enjoyed staying at the City Hall Grand Hotel. The hotel is unlike any hotel we’ve stayed at. From the moment you enter the building, it’s clear you’re somewhere special. We stayed on the 3rd floor and the room was so cool. From the brick walls to metal ceiling and the in-room shower! It was all very unique and special.
The on-site restaurant The Newsroom was excellent. Juan, the chef greeted us as we came in and our server treated us like were VIPs. The patio out back was great and had amazing live music. The entire experience at the hotel was great. Staff and accommodations are wonderful.

We ate at the restaurant “The Newsroom” our first night and it was excellent. Juan, the chef greeted us as we came in and our server treated us like were VIPs. We spent some time on the patio, again with great staff and amazing live music. The entire experience at the hotel was great. Staff and accommodations are wonderful.

Excellent experience, clean, quiet, and beautiful architecture.

The hotel is gorgeous and the staff were all absolutely incredible: helpful, kind, friendly and accommodating. We will definitely return. Four stars instead of five is because there really isn’t WiFi as it’s an old building. The shower pressure was low, making it a long shower to wash thick hair.

I did not like that it did not have a front desk.

We love this hotel. We stayed there back in 2016, and the magic still exists! Furniture is extraordinary, would love to have such for us too. Everything looks like brand new, very clean, and bed is comfortable. The Houdini room is perfect for us.
Make sure you visit the nearby breweries, there are two on walking distance, and more by car. Riverwalk is perfect in the morning.

Had a wonderful stay here! Will absolutely be returning here again! The room and lounges were incredibly clean and beautifully historical.

I stopped one night in Williamsport as part of a longer trip and noticed the City Hall Grand Hotel online. I LOVE unique hotels and so decided to give it a try. End result: Whenever I'm back in town, this is where I'll stay. It's probably not for everyone, especially if you like on-site staff and over-the-top amenities. But if you like simple quiet and comfortable pleasure, as I do, you'd love this place. They sent me an entry code before I arrived and once I'd figured out which door to enter, I was in love. Rode up the small elevator to the third floor, where there was a HUGE commons area with coffee and other snacks. Since it was a Tuesday, there weren't many other people there, which made it even more quiet and comfortable. The bed was extremely comfortable, the television had all the channels anyone could want (and was easy to figure out), and the shower was a dream. The restaurant is not open on Tuesdays, but it's an easy 800-foot walk to downtown restaurants, including my favorite, the Bullfrog Brewery. Parking was free and easily accessible.

Easy access with keyless entry. Kind of like your own little apartment. Funky design and cool building. Walking distance to many food and drink options.

We had a rough night, showerhead was broken and spraying all over and then the (glass) soap dispenser flew off of the wall, getting soap all over the room. We found a mop, we cleaned it up, we were told our stay would be discounted and then ghosted by the hotel's text service. No one could help with room requests at alll, and they made me feel bad for asking for an extra pillow. The hotel is like a maze and the lights were off so we had to go through past the bar with our kids into a dark hallway and try to find our room. Also, the room smelled like a urinal when we got in.

This is my 2nd stay at the City Hall Grand Hotel and it was great! Love the thought and care that was put in the design and decor. On check-out, Zenna, a staff member, was kind enough to give us a quick tour of 2 other rooms which were amazing! This is my go to whenever I’m in the area!

Very unique and cool hotel- love all
Of the attention to detail in wood work, metalwork and tiling, lobbies are great gather places.

We had a problem upon arrival. With no desk a little difficult to get help. However the people in charge bent over backwards to help us and solve our problems!
