Nobody met us and help move the luggage into the hotel on check-in. The check-in counter personnel isn’t particularly helpful either. The hotel also takes tour groups. We were advised to have breakfast after 8:30am to avoid the crowd but still, the whole place was full of the group tour travelers who were talking loud like in the market.

Modern and clean. Good enough sound insulation, although some hallway noise did come in. Windows were filthy, which blocked me from enjoying the views. Desk staff is helpful and largely English speaking. No pool. The open floorplan lobby restaurant has signs all over for 300 NT minimum charge, leading to no space for guests to just sit and chill without being a customer. I wasn't a fan of the branding/colors of the hotel and rooms–too dark for me without the nightclub vibe of the W Hotel. Mattress was comfortable. Shower pressure very weak, but otherwise the bathroom was nice.

I had a pleasant experience at the Aloft Taipei Beitou. The room is well-designed and spotless and offers excellent amenities and utensils, including a mini-fridge, high-speed internet, complimentary bottled water, and excellent bathroom toiletries. The bed was a tad too soft for my preference, and there was some noise from adjoining rooms, but these were minor issues. Overall, a great stay with excellent value.

The view of the hotel is very good. However, it's a bit far from the MRT stations, especially when you're carrying luggage. Besides, only a few local restaurants near by, just in case, you want to buy snakes in the evening, or you want to take a good breakfast, you can only choose Starbucks downstairs.

Nice hotel near to subway line. My second stay at the hotel. This time round hotel was experiencing high occupancy and lobby was always packed with crowds. Otherwise, rooms were good and clean.

Fun hotel located about ~10 minutes walk from Beitou. Good Location near MRT, some shops, restaurants. There's a stabucks in the hotel. Rooms are clean and spacious. Good sound proof, can't hear neighbours talking or doors banging.

Great stay, love the almost brand new hotel, big space and friendly service. 6 minute walk from the MRT. Within easy walking distance to Beitou and Xinbeitou. Plenty of nice eating places.

Nice and beautiful hotel, everywhere are very clean and tidy, but the bed was too soft, Breakfast was great and many choices, everythings are fresh and hot, delicious! We will come again

Reception staff is friendly and helpful. The room is new, clean, spacious and nice. Sufficient furniture in the room but the luggage stand was too narrow, not wide enough to fit suitcases that are bigger than 26 inches. Spacious bathroom but the shower head leaked and needs replacing. Disappointed that the condition of the room was not thoroughly checked before we checked in. The hotel is located very far away from Beitou MRT Station and is quite a distance from Qiyan MRT Station. It was difficult dragging our luggage all the way from Beitou MRT station to the hotel. Extremely inconvenient especially when it rains. No restaurants or shopping nearby except for a Starbucks on the ground floor. Far from the majority of the attractions. No Concierge to help with our luggage at check-in and check-out. Proper foyer at entrance of the hotel for drop-off so its safer. Hotel is accommodating to allow complimentary late check-out. However, we will not stay at this hotel again as the location is out of the way unless we want to visit Yangmingshan.

Well organized new open hotel. Staff are very helpful. The management certainly knows the hotels disadvantage in terms of location so they prepare a very nice map that help their guests know the neighborhood better. The view for the Guan Du does not worth of the extra money though.
