it was beyond my expectations the hotel is clean and organized and you can walk to restaurants easily breakfast was cheap, that was the only negative thing

It’s a three star hotel and it shows. The location is the main selling point. Super convenient and walkable to all the bars and restaurants of Sigiriya. The rooms are decently sized and it comes with a king bed and an additional twin bed. There are definitely ants in the room and geicos too so fyi on that if that bothers you. You get what you pay for.

The staff were super friendly at check-in and were helpful with my heavy luggage. It is a pleasant 15 walk along the lake to the Kandy City Centre shopping mall.

Nice, modern and clean hotel just at the road at Sangriya. Hotel layout like in American motels :) Nice and quiet. Hotel restaurant available and local ones within minutes walk. There is a place for a swimming pool, but there is none, so it is probably planned in the future. Unfortunately, after booking a room and arriving quite late (around 8:00 P.M.), the staff "couldn't handle" the fact that we are with a 13 year old child and our booking made via hotels.com includes one king size bed AND one queen size bed. Unfortunately, showing the reservation with above description did not help and the manager demanded an additional payment for a larger room with an extra bed - even though the error was on the hotel's side and such a room was free anyway. It wasn't even a question of breakfast for 3, which we opted out of when booking anyway (we have booked without breakfast, room only). My booking was done correctly. Unfortunately, the stuff wasn't up to the task. For this reason, we did not stay another night - we found another accommodation where there was no such problem.

Fairly clean with air conditioning and a nice private restroom for each bedroom. The only problem were the fixtures. The doors are squeeky and are coming off the hinges. Yeah, that's right, the doors are literally falling off. You have to lift it and force it back into the slot. The chairs on the patio are also falling apart and you can't sit on them. The location could not be better - literally a few feet from the entrance to the Rock fortress with the best local restaurants just adjacent as well. Overall the place needs renovation but for $50 night it's probably the best deal you can get right now. BTW do NOT pay for any buffet at the hotel, cheaper and more delicious food is available 100 feet down the road.

Good value for money but not an amazing place. Service not very attentive and breakfast okay but no more than that. Rooms were decorated nicely and had a good feel, but the place felt a little neglected.

Very good option within walking distance of the exit of Sirigiya Rock; the entrance is a bit further away. Clean and comfortable, being in the end room the shower water took a while to get hot and the flow wasn't very strong. The breakfast is reasonable, a buffet with a decent enough choice, but very weak coffee. Great selection of reasonable local restaurants a few meters down the road.

Great location; nice facility; bad kitchen The hotel is located right at the exit of the Lion Rock; super convenience. Stoned building with teak furniture; entire environment is nicely set; with comfortable bed. However, food at the restaurant is awful. There are nice restaurants just next door; no need to have your meals in the hotel. Also, I sent the message to the hotel to be sure of the address twice but never got any reply.

Put us in another hotel which was one we specifically didn’t want to go to due to ‘power cut’ in our room (rest of the hotel was fine). Despite us being moved miles down the road staff were very rude.

We had a wonderful stay at EKHO Sigiriya. The hotel is well decorated, comfortable and immaculately clean. The staff were welcoming, helpful and friendly throughout our stay. Breakfast was great. Location is excellent. We would recommend staying here!

We had such a lovely stay at this hotel. It was very calm and peaceful and the staff were very attentive. The bed was very comfortable and the food was delicious! Within walking distance of restaurants and lion’s rock!Would definitely recommend to others.

A+ ! 1, we are both vegans, and one of us came in throwing up breakfast she had in Colombo literally ... The chef did everything wlmy friend asked and more, eggless bread, heatles curry, plain lectus salads, plain rice, all tasted quite good (unbelievable), my friend's gut was able to rest and had recovered here... My food was delicious too, of course but the effort to nursing my friend is so moving we could not thank the staff enough 2, The hotel also arranged for all our excursions in the cultural hub, very good drivers and cars 3, If you like quiet, make this the base of the cultural hub; right across the entrance to the preacher rock park,10 minute bike to pidurangala, 1 hr car to mineryia park, 1.5 hr car to polonaruwa and anuradhapura (excluding local traffic time), 30 min tuk tuk to dambulla caves Kandi is far , 2.5-3 hr, round trip for us took 10 hrs and 5 went to driving, You can also book tour to trincomalee here This is the biggest hotel here , 20+ rooms, some small bars and restaurants, not rowdy or noicy, ATM 500 meters down the road or 10 min walk to preacher rock museum,（nice walk too)

The place was located near to Sigiriya rock. It was a good stay. However, breakfast is not as great as the other hotel we had stayed nearby for the price we had paid for. Wifi speed is slow and non-responsive.
