If you just want a bed and a shower and your on your own then it’s perfect, little hard to find and a pain when you first arrive as you need to connect to WiFi then email someone to let you in, this didn’t works for me so had to call and message the owner.
If they could send you the QR code before you get to the venue that would be loads better, after a 12 hour flight you just want a bed.

All about this hotel is good to sleep.
But one thing they have a matter is hard to be insulated against other noise.

This is a very nice capsule hotel. There were several issues with check in (their automated systems are not that great), but once it was sorted out it was extremely convenient

The staff are very friendly and helpful. The property is lacking. The main issue is that the capsules only have a curtain rather than a door. It really feels more like a dormitory than a capsule hotel.Everything is clean. Some maintenance required. The lockers are not big enough for a typical suitcase.

While named hotel, this place was very clearly a hostel. It was actually much smaller than I originally thought with one room with 8-10 bed/pods. Each bed/pod had a thick felt magnetic cover for privacy, ear plugs, a small fan and a small locker with a built-in combo lock. Wifi was secure and they email you a QR code after you checkin which unlocks the outside door. The bathroom had 2 showers, 2 sinks and couple toilets and had dispensers for soap, toothpaste, and shampoo. Shoes must be taken off inside but they provide sandals that can be used anyway except the showers. The location is unbeatable only a couple blocks away from Sheung Wan station.

The concept of pod accommodation was a new experience. Think there were six other guests but never heard a sound from anyone. Great concept.

My stay at Sleeep Hotel was great. My first time at a capsule hotel and it was interesting. I had to adjust to a small space and shared quarters but honestly it’s great. Staff was very helpful and accomodating. Bed and pillows and blankets were exactly what I requested. The curtains does not exactly keep our sound but that’s to be expected. Overall I would come back again.

You need to be always quiet.

Perfect spot just to rest. Close to everything and very clean and quiet. If you're carrying a medium to large heavy suitcase, you might want reconsider staying here as it might be a tad difficult getting it up and down the stairs, mercifully there's only a short flight.

The space is very well designed, minimalist, practical and beautiful. Everything was very comfortable and the people who worked there were particularly lovely. I however struggle to sleep well in hostels, and at the end of the day, Sleeep is a very small and unique hostel. The sound still travels though, which may not be a problem for deeper sleepers. Thank you!

Terrible, upon arriving at 9pm I was informed that the hotel is overbooked. A alternative room was offered far away in a slum area which was refused. I then spent over an hour looking in the neighborhood for another hotel and found one which which costs 2.5 times more. There was no proper follow up of my case. There should be compensation for the inconvenience and the additional hotel cost.

The stay itself was decent, but the fact that U can't just check in and had to wait was absolutely awful!was waiting for reply by the door and after a long flight and the road in Hong Kong, that check in system was horrible. and when ppl check in are talking there, you can't really rest. The place has mosqitos and smell, i think should take care of the cleanness of the place.

In the end, I had a restful stay, but I cannot give a good recommendation for "Sleeep". Communication was poor. I was asked before I arrived to complete an online registration, which I was happy to do, but the online system did not work properly and I could not do so. After several courteous emails with the staff, explaining when I would arrive (about 9pm), I thought all was well. I arrived about 9:30pm after a 26-hour journey, ready for sleeep, but was prompted at the door for a registration number, which I did not have. It would have been good to know this was needed. No one was at reception to let me in, but another guest finally opened the door. I found my bed (#3) unmade, however, so I had to wait for the staff to return to clean and make up my room. Not a nice way to treat and exhausted guest. Eventually, I did get some much-needed hours of sleeep and rest, but the added hour of confusion on arrival was most unwelcome. Sleeep would be fine if/when it operates properly, but that unfortunately was not my experience. It is priced on the high-moderate budget end, but better attention to detail would add to its value. As it is, I would recommend a cheaper dorm or paying slightly more for regularly hotel room through one of the aggregate vendors, such as hotels.com. To sum up -- Sleeep is probably okay, but management needs to straighten out issues with poor communication and slovenly reception. One a scale of 1 (low) to 10 (high), I rate my experience a sad 4.

It was ok, the internet link wasn’t working really well só it was quite hard to get inside and I found that some people where having the same problem. I recommend you do the registration before you arrive at the hotel.

Strategically situated. SOHO. Gough Street. Zen. Minimalist.

I only stayed 1 night at the hotel.
The matress, pillows and blanket are able to choose in advance. Thanks to this, I could sleep so well!
The hotel is located in the middle of stairs. So I was worried a lot to carry my huge luggage. But the staffs are always on the outside and helped me to carry it all the time. They’re so friendly and able to contact whenever I needed. This was perfect as well.
The location is super amazing.
It’s very close from Sheung Wan station. But I went to Soho, Lan Kwai Fong and Central station by walk. I visited HK 4times so I knew the average price of the hotels around the area, It’s almost 1/3 price.
The only thing that I felt uncomfortable was the light. The light is little bit dark. So I could sleep very well but it made me hard to make up. Too dark...
But I would like to stay again when I travel by myself.

The staff was very accommodating with my late arrival (after 11pm). Everything was ready for me. Small and simple hostel, very clean. Would definitely stay there again!

High tech hotel, pods were more roomy than expected. Am 6’ (182cm) and felt like I had plenty of room. Staff were great, easy to contact.

I was a single female traveling and staying here I did not feel unsafe at this hotel. It is CO-ED however, I did not interacted with the other travelers. I arrived at the hotel around 8:30 pm and everyone was sleeping. Everyone is sleeping and getting dress at different times but everyone was respectable of others sleeping. I would definitely stay here again when I travel to Hong Kong in the future.

Very cool style to the entire place and a wonderful sleeping experience. I would absolutely recommend it to solo travelers and those that enjoy the capsule hotel experience. The beds are extremely comfortable, I love the wood and lighting.

My first impression was not good as it was difficult to find, being hidden half way up some steps. Dragging heavy suitcases up the steps was not fun either. However we were welcomed by friendly staff and I really appreciated the location as this part of HK island is hip with some great restaurants, Western style bars and within easy access of Central MTR.

This hotel's level of digital sophistication blew my mind and I was very impressed. I wanted to try a capsule hotel. Not for me. I prefer to spend more money or go out of the centre for the comfort of a room. But this hotel was great, if you are into it. They contact you beforehand to ask you what kind of pillow or mattress you want. The address is not clear. I had difficulty finding it. I suggest they may add some description on Expedia re the stairs and the 3rd door on the left. Or email the guests. It should be easier to find it.

It is a very quiet new capsule hotel but I think it is a bit too small even if I’m tiny. I would not recommend for a big or a tall guy. I feel a bit uncomfortable in the capsule.

I consider myself "capsule hotel connoisseur", because I constantly use capsule hotels and I thought I'd seen it all. But this one, SLEEEP is definitely an exceptional one. First of all, they sent me a message via email a few days before check-in, asking me what kind of pillows and mattress I prefer. (Hard or Soft, etc) This sort of customer service is unheard of, especially for capsule hotels. Definitely gave me good first impression.
The check-in was pleasing enough, and the staff nice and efficient. Each capsule is quite spacious, and surprisingly comfortable. There is even a vent to each capsule so it won't be too hot even if you entirely close the shutter (never seen it before in my capsule hotel experience) You can see at a glance that this property is very well maintained with close supervision.
The interior design is very hip. Way too modern and cool to the point where it looks a little too "hipster-y" to my liking, although I didn't really mind. From the fingerprint doorlock to magnetically adherable light switches, they look really cool, and that's probably the point.
Dark and comfortable atmosphere and surely the amazing place to sleep in. But this is a small capsule hotel, so its comfort depends on the other guests. One night I couldn't sleep at all because the other guest put his/her cellphone on a hard shelf and it vibrated every hour or so.
If you are an interior designer or an architect, I think you might find this place even more interesting, perhaps?
