Room was fine. Clean and pleasant but the customer service person I checked in with was horrible. Unfriendly. Rude. No smile. No social interaction capacity…. Or just not interested.

The hotel is not busy, only few visitor and they gave us 2nd floor room without a view. The room windows faces the hotel front building structure so it is blocking the view. We were so disappointed.

Our room was quiet and spacious. The bed and pillows were comfortable. The bathroom and shower were in great condition. The hallways were wide and bright. In the breakfast nook, china dishes and stainless steel cutlery were provided, rather than the typical paper plates and plastic cutler. We will return.

Our stay at Comfort Inn & Suites in Merritt B.C. was good. Staff were good. Only real complaint was the air conditioning was noisy in our room. I was going to tell the staff next morning , but forgot when we left. My main complaint was Hotels .com. It was Friday August 30. I had my wife check on line and it appeared there were hardly any rooms left in Merritt. We were tired, travelled all day from Red Deer AB going to Vancouver, so I asked my wife to book it as it was getting later in the day. Turns out , I'm guessing it was only about 30% to 40% booked from what I could tell how full the parking lot was. Next day we went to Burnaby , did a short visit and turned around and headed back towards Alberta. It was late in the evening so we stopped in Merritt again. It was Saturday August 31 and the roads were busy. We stopped again at Comfort Inn & Suits and I thought we may not get a room as the parking lot was full. We did stop and the lady at the desk did fit us in, she was very pleasant and helpful. We did not book ahead this time, thus were billed directly from Comfort Inn & Suites. It was considerably cheaper than going through Hotels.com. In the future I will always check directly with the hotel first.

Just off the highway with gas stations and groceries nearby. Check in was quick and staff friendly and helpful. Room was clean, spacious and quiet. Bed very comfortable. Lots of parking. Free breakfast was good with many choices (Yogurts, oatmeal, cereal, eggs, sausage, bananas, pancakes, waffles, bagels, etc.). There is a restaurant right next door that has great food. Would definitely stay here again.

Was informed when checking in that they were overbooked therefore did not get the king room as requested and paid for which was disappointing, as presumably a price difference between it and the queen room provided. However was clean, comfortable, and air conditioned!

Check-in was fast and easy, the room was lovely! The shower had someone else's hair in it so it could have used a bit more care during the previous clean up. The toilet would not flush properly which was unpleasant. But otherwise everything was great.

Room was big but many marks on the walls and the pool liner looked like it was pealing away, Painted. Okay stay for one night. This hotel could have a water slide to it as it’s big enough to make it fit. Breakfast was okay. Keep it simple but missing a lot of things. Quiet place being as it’s right off hwy. I thought it would way more busier.

Was thrown out of the Hotels.com app while trying to book a hotel. When went back in did not realize search had taken us to a hotel 45 miles backwards until I hit the reserve button… IMMEDIATELY called hotel, the chain of which we have stayed at before, to cancel they told us we had to call Hotels.com- who told us they had to contact hotel to try for an exception to refund - then the hotel was unresponsive to hotels.com… so we lost that money as we were not traveling back. HORRIBLE SERVICE given our past staying with this chain- NEVER AGAIN.

This hotel was newly renovated and our room was great! The only issues were the fan on the heater/air conditioner would not shut off and it was noisy! Their toilet paper was not the best quality (softness) but it worked

The pool and hot tub water reeked like swamp water. The jets in the hot tub hardly worked and the first night the water was very hot ,almost to the point of not using it. Drinking lemon water in foyer was rancid.. couldn't drink it because of fowl smell.
