, mainly because of the outstanding staff and the superior location of the hotel. Mariana, Leonel and Joāo at reception tended to our every need from check-in to check out. Our questions via email before our stay were answered instantly by Mariana. Breakfast was ordered the day before and was waiting for us in the restaurant when we wandered down. Luisa makes an outstanding breakfast and the staff serves all with incredible efficency. Our room was very clean ( thanks to Elisa and Luzia), bright, cheerful, roomy, and comfortable WITH a view of the Cathedral. The entire staff wished me Happy Birthday yesterday for my big day. BUT the very BEST thing was that chef, Susana, baked me an absolutely delicious cake for my birthday!! That and a bottle of champagne was GIFTED to me as a surprise from the staff!! This was an absolutely phenomenal gesture of kindness. If you want a great stay within walking to distance to all of old town, stay at the Burgus Tribute and Design Hotel.

Nice little hotel with super friendly staff. The only negative was the extremely hard mattress on the bed! We like it firm but this was rock hard and would have been very uncomfortable for a stay longer than our one night.

Great location of hotel. We had a two story didn't suite, which was great for our boys to sleep up stairs with their own bathroom. Wasn’t huge but perfect for what we needed as we didn't hang out much in the room. Hotel staff was amazing and friendly! We contacted the hotel through Hotels.com app to request one of the two parking spots the hotel has so make sure to do that ahead of time as they put cones out for you for the spot. Otherwise another family we traveled with forgot to contact them for the other spot got lucky and got parking on the street. The parking on street is free from 7 pm until 9 am. Location has good restaurants and shops nearby to enjoy!

This was an excellent property. The staff, in particular Leo and Beatrice, were amazing. Very friendly and caring. Location is stellar and parking spots were really convenient. Hotel is VERY clean and quiet. We stayed for over a week and have no regrets at all. Would go back without hesitation.

The staff warmly welcomed us upon arrival, it was a nice first expression of Braga, a really lovely place. When checking in, the staff would provide the breakfast menu for the next morning for reservation and we loved everything we ordering, the bread, the yogurt, meat and cheese selection, we even ordered more and the staff would check the availability and offer the food you like to have more. All the staff we approached speak good English, offering excellent service and help us a lot during our stay.

This hotel is beautiful and modern. Great location within walking distance to many attractions and old town. Daniel and Mariana were helpful with where to park and restaurants. If you are driving call well in advance to reserve parking. They only have 2 spots.

Burgus is a small modern boutique hotel. They have few rooms, quiet and comfortable, but beds could be better. Bathroom is very good with good quality towels. Paid breakfast should be ordered the night before, and it is of excellent quality with many options including a variety of eggs and omelets. Location is excellent on a walking distance from the Braga Cathedral and other historical attractions, as well as many restaurants close by.

A gem! In every conceivable way—stylish, superb breakfast, beautiful room overlooking the cathedral, clean as a whistle, super comfortable bed. A first rate, top drawer hotel in every possible way. And the staff (I sadly do not remember their names, one a young and interesting and beautiful 23YO woman during the day; and the other a charming and helpful and insanely handsome young man during the night) were charming, delightful people! First rate humans! And, I was there two nights off the Camino Central to celebrate my 60th Birthday and those delightful people knocked on my door on my birthday and brought me this—charmed me to no end and warmed the cockles of this 60 year old’s heart. A pretty hotel in a great location, where everything is closer enough to be walkable. The room was a little warm and we could seem to lower the temperature, but did not ask for help. Very comfortable bed! Breakfast was wonderful.

Excellent stay right in the centre of braga15 room lovely boutique hotel, we had a superior room on 4th floor really spacious with all mod cons breakfast included great coffee and pastries, would highly recommended.
