Clean and organized little hotel.

It is OK for short stay. There was no hair dryer, no fridge. No towel change unless you request.

I think you would describe this as budget though it is not that cheap! Location excellent for central Kampala, staff really committed and friendly, safe and clean.

I’m very happy about my stay at Explorers Hub. The hotel was clean, central located, safe and affordable, as well as the staff is helpful and very friendly! I enjoyed a nice breakfast at the terasse every morning with both good coffee, fruits, eggs and WiFi! I will definitely stay there the next time I’m in Kampala! Thank you!

Hotel was nice, the only problem I see is that when you make a reservation you dont get to see how small the room is :/, so make sure you get the up grade, which we did once we were there of course by paying more but the room was bog, spacious, with air conditioning.
4.3
Great hotel that's close to all major bars, restaurants and other places. Very clean hotel with great customer service that I'd recommend to anyone

The area is great. Nearby are the best (and most expensive) restaurants and nightclubs. The hotel seems to have bee recently refurbished, which makes it surprising that there are no air-conditioners, so avoid in the hot season. The room fan is very noisy. The rooms are absolutely tiny and not like the photo on the site.

Chose for its location and facilities on a budget. Very nice helpful staff. Breakfast a bit slow but got there eventually. Felt safe and convenient as our Kampala base

We were there for business and the location was good for having people come by for a meeting.
Well cared for and making improvements. There is a nightclub next door and on the weekend the party goes to 2 am. Hotel management is building buffers to keep the noise away. I slept with earplugs and the nightclub didn’t bother me.
It is a nice hotel with various room types, small balconies and very nice open area for breakfast, to work on the computer or hang out.

This is a reasonably good budget hotel in an excellent location, the rooms are small and basic but clean. We tried several rooms before we found one that suited us and each had a small problem, in the final room the shower water did not run away and the water pressure and balancing was not great. There are no mosquito nets and I got bit a lot until we requested that the room was spayed every day after cleaning and the windows and doors left shut. The big problem is noise there is club close and it goes on most of the night I did not get used to it. The breakfast was basic but satisfactory. The staff were friendly but mostly untrained and accounting for drinks at the bar was a bit disorganised. Although this was a B&B the owners have restaurants nearby and will order food in for you which is convenient. Generally if your on a budget this is an OK place, but I would not go back.

What a special place, in a great location. If you're looking to experience Kampala, but be slightly out of the hustle and bustle of the city center, then look no further. The Explorers Hub (formally Explorers Inn) is amazing. Great staff, beautiful rooms, and a great breakfast option. It was walkable to some great restaurants, and even nighttime establishments. The only downside is that there is a club next-door, and on Friday night, the music was very loud until nearly 3am. But my room was closest to this venue.
The bathrooms were newer, and hot water was plentiful. All future trips to Kampala will include this hotel.

Hotel was an excellent value and very conveniently located. Staff seemed indifferent towards the very few guests staying there. With an improvement in service I would highly recommend.
