Room was very comfortable. No complaints. Weird process at check in where the rooms were clearly ready before 3 but they wouldn’t let us in, this ‘lie’ stumbled into a few more lies to cover it up.

Beautiful hotel
Lovely staff

Reception staff were excellent. Attended to us immediately and were very helpful. Reception was warm and inviting. Our room however was around the corner in another building and because work was being carried out no internal access to bar and reception. Our room was very dark and cold. No main heating on, only aircon unit which was hopeless. Reception did put a small heater in our room but it was not very effective. Breakfast was average but service slow. Had the vegetarian breakfast which was quite poor with items missing. The Hotel itself is in a great location for shopping and attractions.

Beautiful hotel, clean, comfortable, fresh smelling, only criticism would be tea and coffee making facilities had very limited space and was awkward to use, also coffee machine leaked.

Very disappointing

When booked now mention we would not be in the main hotel escorted into the road around the corner out in all weathers to a separate unit with four flights of stairs and no lifts
Not good for a partially disabled person
Room was dirty
Room was freezing and even after bringing this to their attention twice still nothing done
Reception called at 2230 about a room change after originally pointing out the issues at 1600 hours
Could only tell the heater which didn’t give out heat was on as we could see the cobwebs blowing around
When you go to breakfast you have to put on hat and coat and go outside in the rain to get back into the main hotel to eat
For a 400 pound room per night I have stayed in much better hotels
I will never stop in any hotels in this chain again
Was an anniversary surprise that was ruined
The description on there and this web site does not give you
All the details about the hotel rooms and locations
I won’t be using hotels.com again either !

An amazing hotel. Beautiful rooms and fantastic decor. Stayed in the York Indigo and the Bath one was just as great!

We knew we would have to park across the road at the council car park - but trying to find a park in there was a nightmare on a sunday. No where to pull up to drop bags -so you have to carry/pull from wherever you get a park - rain or shine. No trolley - doors are narrow, corridors are narrow too. Very much a small boutique hotel with lots of small areas.

Great hotel with a warm welcome. Location could not be better. Lovely bedroom and bathroom.
Ate in the Beau Brasserie which was excellent.
The staff were amazing and very hard working on what was seasonally a hectic time.

Wonderful stay at this lovely boutique hotel in Bath, it has lots of character. Rooms were wonderful, a large size, and very quiet.
Close to the train station and walking distance to the main sites, with lots of dining options around. An excellent choice for a few days in Bath and highly recommend this hotel as a treat.

Found the decor in the room intimidating.
Birds in cages - playing cards- paintings with paint on their faces! Not soothing!
Weird!

Unfortunately when we checked the bed, the linen was not upto standard. We reported it to reception and moved us to another room.
The staff couldn't have been more helpful and apologised and would be taking up the issue with housekeeping.
The location the hotel was ideal for us, a couple of minutes walk from Bath Spa train station but easy to get to the shops and theatres.

Beautiful hotel in great location, friendly staff, beautiful decor, old building (beautiful) but i would recommend you request a room with easy access if stairs will be an issue

Superb from start to finish! Friendly, helpful and professional staff. High standard of cleanliness. Extremely comfortable room / beautiful bed linen and wonderful bathroom with roll top bath! Felt very pampered and wished I could have stayed longer

Lovely hotel with a beautiful room and bath. The restaurant was delicious for dinner and breakfast as well. Lots of wonderful amenities in the room. And a great location as well!

Overall a good stay in a really nice hotel which has adapted a classic georgian building and it’s features to make a lovely hotel. One minor issue. We stayed in one of the rooms in the vaults which are situated under the street this meant when deliveries started early the next morning, we had a wake up call that wasn’t completely expected.

We had a great day at the indigo, a beautiful room, very clean, friendly staff, and they actually let us store the bags for the whole day even after we checked out great place!

Hotel was nice, staff friendly, room a tad tired (paintwork etc), dusty in areas , bathroom cleaning needed more detail air conditioning somewhat weak but decor nice . Location great

The room was lovely. Bathroom had heated floor. Would definitely recommend if staying in Bath.

The Indigo Bath was fantastic, from the size and condition of the rooms, decor and top notch service. We were so impressed with the service and attention of the staff. The decor is fun and a bit quirky (playing off the connection with Jane Austen the room numbers were books on the door). I cannot recommend this hotel enough.

Great hotel, staff helpful and friendly. location to city centre was great. Parking easy via car park opposite. Beautiful decor and comfortable bed. Highly recommend.

Fun and funky spot. Super location for walking anywhere. Rooms are pretty small and cramped with furniture. The food is really good and the staff is super helpful and friendly.

Great location near Abbey and Roman Baths, an added bonus was the complimentary mini bar. Excellent breakfast too

See my other review - once our favourite hotel now you could not pay me to stay at this hotel - full of supercilious staff who belittled and embarrass you, poor service and a poor show Hotel Indigo Bath

We used to loved this hotel, but after this last stay, we will no longer stay there again, it’s changed. We were talked down to and were embarrassed by the restaurant manger in the bar in front of other patrons, the bar staff were drinking and loud, the service slow and condescending, the food average and luke warm.. the room up in the attic, cramped, dark with no view… all in all a bad experience and when I explained my misgivings when checking out was told the manager would call.. still waiting for the call! They don’t care…

The hotel is very close to the train station and to the historic sights of Bath. It is beautifully appointed and very quiet at night. We highly recommend it for the location alone, but even if that were not true it is a nice hotel.

We only had a one night stay and wish we’d longer. We loved our room, beautifully decorated, super comfy king size bed, gorgeous bathroom, air con (which was much needed) and a lovely included breakfast. Would definitely stay again!

Beautiful and charming

Very nice hotel in an excellent location. Lovely decor. We would go back and stay again. We give 4 stars because our room was small for the price (even by European standards) and the woman at the front desk was abrasive when we were simply checking in and out (asked for nothing). Other staff were lovely and helpful.

Really great boutique hotel in a great spot in Bath centre. Very impressive decor throughout the hotel and the room was really nicely finished, especially the bathroom. First time we've been walked to our room by the check in staff which was a nuce touch. Manvers Street car park is ideal but you have to be there early to get a spot!
