The accommodation was beautiful, lots of room and we planned 3 days of rest which this certainly delivered on.
Not a fan of stairs but given this was a short stay, this was not a problem. An indoor clothes line would be good, not a fan of dryers.

We found it difficult to get our bags down the stairs from the gate. If you come by car it would not be a problem. Once inside the spiral staircase was to difficult for us to get our bags upstairs so they had to stay in the lounge. The property is lovely and the bus service is good to town.
Arrived by taxi and it was difficult to get the suitcases down the stairs as they were gravel. I am sure most people would be in a car so they would not experience the problem. Not being able to get the bags up to our bedrooms also not so good. However everything else was nice.

The quirkiness of the property, it was clean, quiet, equipped well and the views were stunning

Enjoyed Bath City. Lots of place to wine and dine. Lovely cafes to enjoy afternoon tea.

This is an excellent home away from home. A beautifully presented, well equipped quirky cottage in a great location with stunning views The owner/manager was very informative and helpful and I felt if we needed anything, he would be on hand. There is a very useful guide to peruse when you arrive. We quite liked the fact it was a bit of a mission to get down to but I wouldn't advise anyone with mobility issues to book here. My husband and I stayed here with our teenage daughter and her friend and they didn't want to leave at the end. The pictures make it seem a little smaller than it is but it's very spacious indeed. The kitchen is very well equipped but we didn't really use it apart from making drinks. Tea, coffee, sugar, oil, salt and pepper are provided which was useful. I'd really recommend this for a family stay and we'd definitely stay here again.
My only slight issue was our mattress was really soft and squishy and you sort of sank into it which wasn't very comfortable. That was literally the only thing but everything else was perfect.

We liked very much the setting of the house with beautiful views across the countryside. The decor inside was superb, it has all the facilities needed. It felt very cosy, it was like a new home. The fact that we had the entire use of the house for ourselves was also a bonus, we liked to know that we wouldn't be disturbed. The bedrooms were a decent size with very confortable beds, again we noticed the care taken in decorating the space. The beds were very comfortable and we had no problem sleeping in such a quiet environment. Overall it was an amazing stay and it was very much a nice part of our weekend.
The description sent in advance to locate the house.
Also the fact that there was a possibility to park was very appreciated.
I found the heavy
book with all the guests rules a bit stressful.

location was great. Unique building and great view. warm and comfortable, quality bed linen, clean and fresh smell. Underfloor heating was wonderful. Log fire was a bonus. Great TV and Wifi. Very quiet and clean.
The upstairs/ downstairs trip to get to bathroom could be a issue. Not suitable for less able guests. Quite a mission to get off the road to the apartment with big bags , has steps and narrow walkway.

Nice spacious accommodation in a very quiet location. Cosy with it being a cold week outside.
Shame two cars are parked right outside of the window when there is plenty of space further down on the drive. Decided to leave blind down all the time for privacy.

great stay, lovely place, bigger than expected, friendly hosts, many thanks
it seems bath are very fussy about recycling - however don;t make it obvious what is meant to go where. We couldn't tell if they recycle Tetra packs or not.

Very spacious, clean, amazing bed. Extremely comfortable for families.
The stairs to go down the property. Plus all the doors that connected to the main house could not be locked from our side and that felt uncomfortable.

Clean, good location, very organized
You have to go up and again down the stairs to go to the bathroom.

The fire is lovely and the TV was very good. Lovely views.
The lay out is not the best. The parking is not practical at all, with parking right out side that you can’t use for some reason? Tiny spiral stairs to the 1st floor hard to use so we left our luggage downstairs.

easy to get into Bath from this location

Comfy beds and good quality linen and appliances. Nice to have underfloor heating. Quiet with great views. Host seems friendly.
Overall a comfortable stay.
A lot of cobwebs and wood lice everywhere. Dead spicers under the sofas. A listed property but we feel it needs some tlc.
Parking was okay but really think they need to work out a way (with the neighbour) of using the area by the property as I felt it was a little unsafe by a busy road.

the views are great
the toilet is far. have to climb up the stiff stairs, passing the long hallway and go downstairs again to get to. Also the drains are not working well. (toilet, sink and bathtub)

The location was great and views stunning. The annexe itself was extremely clean and nice and warm. There were plenty of pots, pans, crockery and cutlery, tea towels and cleaning equipment. Also tea coffee and oil to cook with.
A microwave would gave been good but the oven was top notch, so we didn't miss it.

Beautifully kept, stunning views, everything you need.
Beds were a bit soft and getting luggage up the spiral staircase was difficult at points.
4.1
Quiet location, very private, fantastic views over countryside & river, location to town was perfect yet still rural
Whilst car could be kept off-road the distance to the holiday home via steps could be challenging for some
4.1
Very comfy and attractive, good range of TV programmes and apps to use, great facilities.
Alot of bugs about and the walkaway to door is very slim. Shame to have to walk over the landing to toliet.

Beds and bedding, never had a bed that hugged!
Beautiful clean smell, lovely!
Only drawback was fridge (would have liked a larger one) but not considered it a problem.

What a wonderful experience, the softest bed I’ve ever slept in! The place is sooo exceptionally clean and well presented and abundance of local guidance in the house manual and direct from the hosts who were super lovely. An easy enough walk into town and very easy walk to the Boathouse pub just down the hill on the river. Beautiful view from the house, we had such a nice stay.
