Very nicely put together and wonderful stay, overall. We stayed in one of the carriage house rooms, which are like a classic hotel room. It was very clean and comfortable. The bathroom was nicely done with an overhead rain shower head and hand wand. Very luxurious touch. The room includes a fridge, microwave and large sink. Feels like a kitchenette, although we had no plates or utensils. But it's easy to bring some back from the main house. We had one dinner at the restaurant and the food is largely locally sourced. Overall, the dining experience was great. It was the best tasting, freshest trout we've ever had with huge portions. Service was fantastic. Note that the restaurant is only open for breakfast and lunch Wed-Sunday, so plan accordingly as early dining options in the area are limited. However, the coffee shop still provides free breakfast each day from 7a-10a and they have a pretty decent assortment of goodies, including hot grab and go food options. Do not miss the opportunity to get a Smores Mountain at the coffee shop. It's exceptional! All made from scratch ingredients. We would wake up for coffee/tea and enjoy the patio with some quiche, fruit, or breakfast sandwich. Overall, this really is a very nice place to stay. We would definitely return and wouldn't hesitate to recommend it.

Everything AOKAY and more

I stayed just for an overnight stay before picking up my daughter at a summer camp nearby. Room was great, and the breakfast, coffee shop, and outside area were very cozy.

The room was beautiful, spacious, and clean. The hotel staff were wonderful, and the onsite restaurant was amazing.

We enjoyed just a walk across the street for a soak in Warm Springs Pools. Breakfasts were tasty, and sitting on the porch listening to the birds amid the gorgeous hilly setting was a delight. Updated tiled walk-in rainshower was also a treat.

My stay at room 30 was exactly what was needed. Excellent views, having morning coffee on porch was great. Very helpful and friendly staff, food is excellent. Surrounding area historically rich and you can always make an appointment to use the Omni warm mineral springs located across hwy. Looking forward to next trip.

The staff was lovely. It was a very nice laid-back atmosphere. Room was clean and comfortable. The breakfast looked amazing, but only had 1 gluten free option that was ok. A savory option for GF people would be great.

Loved the bed, the shower, complimentary breakfast was the best! Nice to have home baked rather than packaged stuff at other places.

This is a beautiful property and right across the street from the Warm Springs Pools!! Quiet & Quaint & Friendly Staff! Breakfast was Delicious & loved that they have their own Coffee Shop & Amazing Restaurant right in the property! We will Be Back!

Inn was charming and food offerings delicious. To top it off, the Inn is across the road from the historic Warm Springs Pools, which I took advantage of to bathe in.

Located in a beautiful area and I enjoyed the historical atmosphere and peacefulness.

Very nice stay in a lovely setting. Good free breakfast with several good choices. Not too far from the Maple Festival in Monterey.

Very clean and quiet. Staff are friendly. Room was nice. I enjoyed that the fridge actually gets cold unlike chain hotels. The bathroom floor is heated which was nice. Clean bathroom especially the shower. The breakfast was amazing and same with dining in at their restaurant. Only two suggestions i have are to raise the hanging lights over the bed end tables up by a foot and have some usb outlets; could be in the lightswitch or a lamp.

Romantic getaway. The Inn was wonderful with a good selection of complimentary breakfast and addition options available for half off. Dinner at the Inn was also wonderful. Right across the street from Warm Springs. We recommend at 10:00 reservation, you can get in a little early. Nearby we enjoyed Bacova Beer, best wings ever. Sam Snead's Tavern and Rock Roadhouse, and waterfalls on 220.

The layout is a little chunky but it's a historic property so I appreciate the historical renovation. The driveway is a little scary but they do what they can in a fantastic location that is easy to get to but far from the hectic world. The staff was helpful, the food was excellent, the mattress was firm, the view was amazing.

It’s a gem! I stay here each year after my kids skiing competition at Wintergreen, VA on the way to practice at Sbowshoe, WV, and this is by far the best option. This year we were upgraded to a suite, which was very modern and luxurious. Breakfast was excellent, and staff very friendly.

Everyone that works here is super nice! Same lady that checked me in, checked me out and she was so kind! Dinner at the Tavern was exceptional! The room was quiet, clean, and comfortable! Thank you all for the wonderful experience!

Breakfast was various pastries, fruits, and a parfait. It was yummy and the area around the inn is stunning. The room was clean and cute. Overall, it was a wonderful stay. My only real complaint is the somewhat steep price for the room.

Great choice.

The room was clean, bathroom felt clean as well. Comfortable bed and pillows, bedsheets felt really clean as well. My one issue was, you can’t set the heat to your preference. When we got there it was freezing I called and they said it was set to 71 it felt more like 65. After dinner they made it so hot I was dying, felt like 79 degrees inside. At no point was it 71. I couldn’t sleep well thanks to how hot it felt. The bathroom exhaust fan was not working and they gave me a little attitude and offer no apologies when I called for that. She just said no one can fix it today. Bathroom had very little lighting too.

The location great, across the street from the baths. The food in restaurant seemed to be prepared from frozen foods. The $450 per night room was about a $250 room. The "pull out" bed really a couch conversion and too difficult to use. Staff friendly
