So-so hotel, but very friendly staff! Thank you for the hospitality!

hotel facilities are good, but located in a business area, not much within walking distance

The idea is great the hotel would do well to work on items like tissue, air conditioning, and door repairs

Very pleasant room with comfortable bad and desk to work.

The corner room that I had was very nice. The water did not always work. The electronic door key locked me out twice and only one person knew how to restore my entrance. Once, I had to wait until the staff member came to work.

The room is spacious and well equipped. A great place to experience typical Tanzanian breakfast. The hotel doesn't have elevator but the hotel staff were kind and helped with luggage.

We arrived shortly after midnight due to the flight schedule. They gave me a lower class room than what I paid for. The next morning I asked to get an executive room, which I had paid for. The receptionist called the manager, who they called Madame. She had a bad attitude like she was doing me a favor giving me the room I had paid for.
We moved to a room where the toilet had no seat and the refrigerator did not work. Neither did the safe. This was not acceptable, so we were shown other rooms but Madame was not sure whether things would actually work. In the end we got a decent executive room but like before the refrigerator did not work. Stuff spoiled. And a whole morning was wasted waiting for Madame. Also, in that room the safe did not work. So after a long wait they brought in one ... which did not open. Eventually the safe was opened but what is the point of having it if someone can just carry it away.
Some days there was a hand towel and on others not. Same for floor mat in front of shower. One morning no warm water!!
The breakfast was okay but sometimes none of the 15+ coffee cups and saucers had no tea spoons.
The options in the restaurant are limited and are further limited by what they can actually do. - Grill did not work.
The lighting on our corridor was out. They did not care.
This could be a much better place If they only had MUCH better management. I hope the owner reads this review.

The staff here is kind and helpful . The area is in a crowded Dar es Salaam neighborhood near Karikoo. Finding can be a challenge for local Uber drivers. I was prepared with Google maps directions downloaded.

Nice staff, good location, but the closet in the room did not open properly, the kettle and fridge didn't have a socket nearby and thus weren't plugged, the coffee and tea in the room weren't refilled for the 2nd night

Pros - nice & helpful staff, good food in the restaurant, very nice room for the price, comfy bed Cons - the wifi is awful....it basically disappears every 10-20min. Expect to barely have access to internet. The power/electricity in the room is operated with the key card. There are no light switches. So at night when you want the lights out you have to remove the key card from a power point in the wall. The problem is at night you will not have ac unless you sleep with the lights on. Its impossible to be in the room with no ac....Dar is extremely hot...so I slept with the lights on every night which is not ideal. Also, when my sheets were changed, the 'clean' sheets had nasty stains on them. The location is not the best or the safest....dont go out at night unless you have someone with you. Night club on the 5th floor open on Saturday night. Dont plan on sleeping with the bumping base....but if you like to dance its a good drop in

We stayed for 3 nights. Hotel condition is new, we stayed in room 201 in the second floor. No elevator but it was ok as we were in the 2nd floor. Room was v clean. Money to value is excellent. Breakfast is open buffet (Boiled eggs, sausage, pasta, viggies, fruits, jam, peanut/butter, juice, tea/coffee). Area is not touristic but v near just walking distance to bus station, Aura Mall, City Mall, Kariako Market, ferry terminal (20 mins walking). Using Taxify/Uber makes life easier in Dar Es salaam.
Staff helpful, we had a quick check in/out by a nice lady @the reception.
For the night club noise, being in the 2nd floor we weren't that much affected and in all cases night club is only on Saturday nights.
If we are back to Dar Es Salaam we would stay there again

Room fine with aircon but had to keep lights on all night to keep the aircon going. Shower was boiling hot. Breakfast fine. Not in a touristy area.

This was a very good option that was affordable prior to their rate hike. Unfortunately the night club music makes it impossible for me to stay there. I’ll still go back because the rooms are quite lovely and the beds, I agree, I really very comfortable. But the obnoxious pumping bass of the night club upstairs can be felt not only several floors down but heard several blocks away.
