the rooms looked newly remodeled but they are not, the rooms walls, floors,stained furniture and bathrooms all need Deep cleaned the refrigerator handle was broken and it sounded like it was going out, No point in a remodel if you don’t keep the upkeep to keep it looking nice

Cute and quaint little motel with modern rooms that have a vintage feel to them. Safe and private parking lot with gate and code that makes check in super easy! Check out TrueBurger right down the street for some bomb well priced burgers and Mother Tongue for coffee.

The privacy and safety was great! I loves the private gated parking. The downside was checking in where you needed the code to even get on the property to check in and the staff at the front desk behaved like the guests were an inconvenience. Overall 4/5 felt safe if not a tad judged but otherwise pretty good.

Good location for a short, inexpensive stay; a fairly short drive UC Berkeley if you have business there. Parking is limited, and small. Our room was clean and modern, very basic. It worked for our needs at a busy time in Berkeley.

The staff were kind and helpful. Though the parking lot is a bit small we always found a space and it was secure. And for being on a busy street the windows shut out street noise and we walked around a lot. Good restaurants within four blocks.

I like how quiet the property is. The air conditioner works and there are plenty of channels on tv. I also like how easy it is to check in and check out. I stay here everytime I visit Oakland and I will continue to stay there

This is a lovely rare gem of a place to stay. The bed is very comfortable, check in and out is easy, great location, the room and decor are tasteful and pleasant to be in, gated parking lot - there’s enough parking for everyone but if its a busy night and youre the last one in, it may be a little tricky getting into your spot.

The images are deceiving, this is a MOTEL. The rooms are renovated but everything is dingy and dirty. Sheets stained and burn holes, fabric bedframe is stained and gross. The price is NOT reflective of the space. The only positive of this place is that there is gated parking.

The staff was friendly and responsive when we had questions. We liked the fact that parking was included and there were restaurants/shops within walking distance. Also loved that there was a mini fridge and small coffee maker in the room. Bathroom door was a little wonky but everything else was great!

The place was functional. Not as pretty as the picture on the site. The street it is on is kind of sketchy HOWEVER if you walk less than 1/2 mile away there is a wonderful street with shops and a great crepe restaurant. You will walk through some wonderful neighborhoods around there.

They had limited free parking. That was good. But, you're given some numbers code to get into your room. Sometimes it would not work. It could be very frustrating when you're coming back tired from work and can not get in right away to ease yourself.

Clean boutique style hotel. Walls were cracking and wood grain style floor was dirty upon entering. No lobby - check in through a window. Room had a nice Minnie freezer and safe. Bed was low to the ground but very comfortable. No noise concerns. Bathroom/Shower A+ Parking C - Only because it's first come first serve for gated parking. Otherwise you take your chance on the street which I would not recommend in this neighborhood. Only a few miles away is Rockridge which has lots of great places to shop and eat which we enjoyed. Easy access to SF.

I really liked the room, comfortable and spacious. The secure parking(free) was terrific. This motel is in a good neighborhood, just a few blocks walk to Piedmont, coffee, restaurants, groceries, shops and a movie theater. Will definitely stay again.
