La Bizantana is the most beautiful hotel we have stayed in. It has a balcony with table and chairs overlooking town and water. We lived on the balcony. The room/hotel had beautiful tile work throughout and beautiful fabrics. As an interior designer, it was designed with so much detail. They have a fairly private deck with loungers and a jacuzzi with shade and sun. Breakfast was a huge spread served on a patio overlooking the town and water. Staff is excellent in service. They helped us navigate the local bus and around town. Super friendly and attentive. Best stay ever!

we love the hotel since day one, the staff made us feel like we belong there, very comfortable room, nice view from our room, the breakfast is to another level. I super recommend La Bizantina!!

The property sits higher on the hill than we expected, but we adjusted. The bathroom is a bit awkward as there is no place to put any toiletries inside and you have to use the vanity outside to open and close every time you need shampoo etc. It was a good place overall

The property is nice and clean. Expected going there on winter everything is close. Restaurant is .7 mile uphill just to eat dinner. The hotel is nice and clean but the room smells like urine odor even after they clean. There is no transportation but you can request from the front desk.

Beautiful, elegant, and updated, very well maintained property. Suite was excellent and the staff (each one) was friendly, helpful and gracious. Highly recommend the hotel.

La Bizantina is a secret gem in Positano. There are only a few rooms in the villa, so the experience is very personal and exclusive. Our visit was entirely coordinated in advance via email with the hotel team, and our hotel manager Hani coordinated our visit at an expert concierge level! She took care of dinner reservations, planned excursions including a private wine tasting, and is the most welcoming and attentive person from the guest perspective.
We selected our room based on the private balcony/terrace, and this really made our Positano experience special with the amazing views.
If you are looking for an exclusive, personal, non-hotel type experience, this is the place to reserve!

Property was great, centrally located but you will still walk a steep mountain to get to the beach. Staff was great and helpful, shout-out to Hani! She was helpful, gave us good tips and accommodating. Would recommend this stay fully.

We had the room that is in the picture.. It was the most amazing surprise when we walked into the room which was beautiful. The driver dropped us off right at the door and not very many steps to the reception which is rare in Positano. We were able to make a quick walk to shopping and Restaurants. The breakfast was the best we had on our trip and the terrace has the most beautiful tranquil view. I will be staying here again when I go back.

Boutique hotel in the upper part of Positano with great sea views. With just a few rooms it was very quiet and relaxed. Great breakfast served on the terrace. Restaurants nearby if you do not want to walk all the way to the centre in the evening. Valet parking (at extra charge) around the corner.

The room was decent and a good size however unuseable mirrors in the room (one had a lot of black marks on it and the other was too high for a short person like me. Found it to be overpriced (€700 per night for 3 people). The location is close to the SIT (the bus that runs from Sorrento to Salerno) bus stop. Also close to the local bus stop. Breakfast is served at the sister hotel which is about a 5 to 10 min walk from this hotel. Overall the stay was good. Thank you

At our arrival, we were told to call a specific number for them to welcome us and give us access to our room. The room they had provided for the night had no air conditioning, just a small fan. We had booked the place for 7 nights and specifically asked for air conditioning, the temperature outside was around 35 degree Celsius. The reason we could not get the room we asked for was that the previous tenant had asked for a 1 day extension, which he was granted and had us bumped down to a non air conditioning room. Following our complaint, they offered to move us to a close by B&B with air conditioning and then back the following day to the original booked for the remaining 6 days. We did not agree to it and were told that we would not get our money back. One more thing... when asked about the free breakfast mentioned on the reservation, we were told that breakfast would be served at a different location, about 500 meters from current location and 500 steps up to reach it. This is not the way we envisioned our stay. Our confirmed reservation guaranteed us a room with air conditioning and balcony with sea view and came attached with pictures of the room. Luckily we were able to book a place near by for the whole stay, which came at a higher price than expected.

I was worried about the shared bathroom. But that was not a problem at all. The location and staff were good. The cleanness is top notch.

A beautiful quaint hotel in the center of Positano. Staff and resources are located at another nearby property, but everyone we spoke with was wonderfully helpful. Our room shared a beautiful bathroom, but was not a problem at all. You do a lot of walking in Positano, but every step is worth it!

My wife and I just stayed at the Villa La Bizantina. Great views with a decent sized room but noisy as on the main road with a shared bathroom. We got a dedicated bathroom but it’s not attached so very inconvenient. The worst thing about this property is that there are 45 steps to the shared rooms and Open living areas. And even worse is that light breakfast is provided but what we were not told when we called when we booked is that for breakfast you have to go to the hotel which is 3 minutes walk (down and then up the slope back) and with 107 steps to climb to the group hotel. Even for very younger, fit people this is an impractical property and especially considering the premium price we paid. We couldn’t find any hotel hence chose this but was not a good experience overall at all.

With Janurary being the low season, my partner and I actually had the whole house to ourselves! The hotel is exactly as shown in their photos. Our room was huge and so was the bathroom. Usually guests would have to share the bathroom which I could see as a down side to this place if it we’re busy. From what I could make out the place only has about 5 rooms, each leading out onto a beautiful terrace which had amazing views. The girl who checked us in was lovely and gave us a lot of information and tips about Positano and the area. During low season there’s no ‘front desk’ so make sure to call ahead to let them know what time you want to check in. Overall we had a great time at this place and would highly recommend it!
