The staff work hard to provide clean and comfortable rooms. Good to have a fridge as well as tea and coffee making.
Great to have the bar and restaurant next door serving good value drinks and meals with excellent service.
Good parking.

Could not stay son felt so itchy and dirty we felt things crawling on us, snot and boggie spread on wall, with finger marks, so we checked out a few hours after check-in. It was really an awful place outside and inside. Being kind the building should be knocked down and rebuilt. Do not waste your money. Never book a room. here.

Absolutely awful. I’m going to go to the doctors tomorrow morning because everything was so unclean. I genuinely feel like I need a jab of some sort. DO NOT come here, regardless of price shown, it could never be worth it. Lift: broken, bath: dirty, chair: made me itchy? AWFUL! The service at the desk was excruciatingly slow, the ‘hotel’ stunk of smoke even though it says no smoking. Disgusting walls with holes, and substances on it. God bless everyone who had no choice but to stay. I left feeling itchy and unclean.
The rooms were uninhabitable. Checked in at 7pm and left at 9:30pm, horrible and waste of money.
Its not a hotel, not a hostel, just unclean building all round.

This last trip was my third. The beds are bad . The mattresses need to be replaced. My trip was room 302, the second room 322and third was room 305. All the mattresses are due for replacement. I have pains all over my body as I am typing now.

Great value for money, helpful & professional staff, perfect location for buses to Walsall or Birmingham, sort of vintage Travelodge, American motel atmosphere, a bit old but alright for one of two nights

You should advertise that this is an immigration hotel.

Woke up 20 mins before check out time. I called reception to ask about paying for late check out and was told not to worry, as long as I was out before 10.30 I'd be fine.
Well the cleaning lady didn't agree and was very rude. She should concentrate on the cleaning as the sides were dusty, the kettle was minging and the carpet looked like it hadn't been vacuumed for weeks.

I don’t normally like to leave comments. But in this case, I feel I need to the hotel is dirty shabby. The shower was uncontrollable it was eurher very hot or cold. The bed was uncomfortable. It was noisy. I’m guessing some sort of halfway house for people.. The lift wasn’t working. The carpet was patched up badly. The paint work was flaking… There was a smell of weed and people were banging doors all night.. It was so bad that I checked out after the first day and I was checked in for two days..

Terrible place and staff The place need to lock down and repair. Lift not working .we were going upto the 2 floor. My mom had a fall while taking her suitcase up the stairs and hurt her toes and hand. The receptionist came out of the office and had a good laugh and went back into the office. There were also 2 visitors waiting to check-in. They too had a good laugh while my mom sit crying.. we managed to go upstairs . The room was so disgusting . When we came back downstairs and ask to fill in a accident book we were told that they had none. The receptionist went and call the manager . And they reture about 10 minutes later. She were very rude and said they didn't have a accident book to fill in and that it was my mother faults why she fall on the stairs. We had to be telling her that it was against the Law not to have a accident book . No first - Aid was given. She was going to call an Ambulance which was really waist of time . For a toe injuries they wouldn't come.. we didn't stay there anyway. Terrible place to stay.

A good value for money. The reception was great. I was offered an upgrade at reception. Room was very clean and the environment was serene.

If you're expecting high quality fancy decor with a fancy ensuite, this isn't the place for you. It's your basic bed, TV, Tea and Coffee with fridge and bathroom. The classic chips to the paint, rust on the shower curtain poles and general wear and tear of the place may give it a "vintage" feel. My mum's in hospital so all I cared about was getting a bed for the night and this was the cheapest around and met the criteria. For that, it was perfect. It's a bed. That's all I wanted and if that's what you want, this is for you.

We discovered after booking this place was a crack den that housed the homeless and illegal migrants in a terrible neighbourhood. So cancelled the whole weekend. Unfortunately there wasn't any chance of a refund either. Maybe someone from Hotels.com should stay a few nights and then consider listing this placeon the website?

The property was in need of knocking down it was very sad the lift did not work the carpets needed replacing the bed was in a poor state the pillows we're very flat but for the prices we paid couldn't have expected anything more

The room was great with an attached bath. Staff was helpful.

The property is basic, the lifts are broken and the hotel is quite aged the bathroom sink had broken chip wood surrounding surface and the external and internal areas are old. It’s important to point out the Hotel is kept really CLEAN and the facilities are fine. The staff are friendly and helpful so for the price it represents good value if you’re not fussy. We slept well and paid the extra £10.00 for a later checkout. We were visiting family in the area not on vacation.

The photo's on the website are not like the actual room, to start with they wanted photo ID when husband didn't have his he refused us book in eventually said ok if we gave credit card it would be ok wasn't happy but we were do at a wedding.
We were on 3rd floor lift was broken felt like bottom floors are for non hotel guests felt very frightened going to our room the door lock look likes it has been mended a few times the bed was disgusting mattress was stained and no mattress cover used the bathroom as although clean need work.
Couldn't stay there disgusting and did not feel safe got changed and booked out. The guy on reception Couldn't careless when we explained just said fine no apologies was a bit worried about them having card details.
This place needs taking of Hotels.com website

Don't go here if you're a solo traveller especially a woman. Don't be attracted by the price spend a little more and stay somewhere safe.

The reception staff need training in "hospitality" instead of speaking to GUESTS as if they are a nuisance. The room keycard had to be reprogrammed EVERY day. I went up to my room on day 2 and the card didn't work. Lift NOT working, so had to schlep from third floor down to reception. Card reprogrammed and I was TOLD it had to be redone EVERY day??!! Back up to the third floor and it didn't work. Back down to reception and the girl smirked as she said sorry, programmed two cards and TOLD me to return the second when I'd done with it. Whole place smelt of cigarette smoke so I bought air freshener. The room itself (317) was one I had stayed in when this was still a Travelodge (and the lift worked!!). I reckon the mattress was from that time (early 2000s!!) as it was lumpy and ripped with a metal bit sticking out at the top corner. DO NOT BOOK THIS PLACE.

Not great I was greeted by a very unhappy member of staff she was grumpy
I was given a room on the 3rd floor the lift was out of order and according to one of the cleaning staff the lift has be out of order for 2 months but according th your Web site it was working.
The room was not that bad but the bed was very uncomfortable.
I won't be staying again.

Traveled for work and never felt more uncomfortable in a hotel in my life we said we were disabled when booking (booked a hotel that had a lift ECT) lift didn't work and we were on the 3rd floor asked for help with our cases reception apologiesed but had no way to help we had to struggle before a patron helped us. thankfully the bed was incredible uncomfortable. The shower set off the fire alarm whenever u opened the bathroom door the toilet plumbing was noisy there was always people in the carpark playing music at reception smoking or just hanging around that weren't even staying there there was police there ever day having loud conversations about people they were searching for. The room key reset ever day so before u could go to your room you had to get it scanned again meaning anyone hanging round could hear ur room number. This wasn't even told to us so we climbed all the stairs (again we're disabled) before having to go back down and find out what was going on (we did call reception but the guy didn't answer) when I went down he said he came after us but clearly didn't as it took us a good 5mins to get our case up some of the staff were blatantly sexist to us and others. We even asked to use the bathroom while waiting to check in to be told no so had to sit for 3 hrs before shift change and the new girl finally let us. It's incrediblely run down which I wouldn't have minded if they staff didn't make it feel like we were an inconvenience I can go on but I'm out of space

We never actually stayed as it was horrendous. Girl on reception had a face like a slapped back side no customer service skills at all.The place smelt of cigarettes and the lift was out of action we were meant to be on the 3rd floor. We had a look at the room I would not let a dog stay there. We actually went and stayed down the road at the premier inn. I have never seen anything like it to be honest you should pay us to stay there not the other way round.

Budget hotel so room satisfactory. Hot water took too long to come through and the shower was really difficult to adjust.
Receptionist needs training to be customer friendly.
We were disappointed the single lift was out of order for 6 months and no-one mentioned it! We are in our 70s and no staff asked if we needed assistance with our suitcase to get to the 3rd floor!
Free parking is a bonus.

The bed in the room was very poor, however, the room was clean. The lift was not functioning, I had to walk through the stairs all the way to the last floor upstairs.
