The room had everything we needed for a night’s stay. Comfortable beds too!

It’s across the street from a park on Flower Lake.

great stay, i will return in the future will tell folks about your property

There was only one outlet in my room, and it was a power strip that powered the microwave and refrigerator. None on either side of either bed. The AC unit did not respond to the remote, and playing with the touch screen failed to do anything, so the temperature and air could not be altered. All 3 kayaks were noticeably dirty, so I have to clean them off once I launched the one I used. Multiple spiders in each, including a few once I began paddling. Everything else was okay, I loved my bed and the chairs behind the building on the pond, but I am not sure that I would come back.

The room and property was clean and well kept. Check-in and check-out was easy. Location was convenient to amenities in the area.

Near the water and beautiful views. Ductless AC. Nice towels. Good water pressure. Comfortable bed. A nice surprise.

The place is not a bad value, though by no means is it luxury. It is pretty much no frills, but it is convenient and reasonably clean.
10.0
An older property, but clean and comfortable. Also Lake Flower is right across the road so pretty ... and easy access to local restaurants. Nice location providing access to hiking, boating activities.
5.0
Good value for the price. The beds were comfortable and the room was equipped as it should. But there is nobody at the reception. All the check in and check out were made via email. We did not meet anybody. It seems that's the future .. Not sure we go in the good way.

It was quick and easy to check in.

Not like the photos at all. :(

Just right for our 1 night visit. Clear instructions, and clean room.

Incredible staff! Shannon was especially helpful with the check-in. Many amenities are in walking distance. The setting and views are a nice bonus.

Good location for getting to trails. Liked having coffee machine in room. Nice to have microwave and refrigerator (although freezer in bad need of defrosting). Appreciated having free Hulu (on large TV). Good lighting. Price reasonable for area. Frequent (online) communication from staff.
Took “forever” to get hot water - and even then only warm.

We really do prefer face to face interaction which we were unable to get with staying here. We understand technology has extensive capabilities but we are "oldschool" and enjoy being able to get input from staff on places to go to eat etc.
When we arrived there were multiple pieces of small very curly hair on the wall and the hair dryer in the bathroom. Other than the bathroom the room seemed clean. I would suggest putting a garbage in the bathroom also.

Excellent proximity to cross-country skiing on Lake Flower (across the street) and a rail trail (behind the property). Also within easy walking distance of restaurants.

The room was hot and it was very difficult to control the thermostat. The parking was in a very muddy area and when we got out of the vehicle you had to stand in mud which led to getting mud all over our clothes.
6.0
Reasonably up to date, thin-walled, road-side motel at twice the cost. We were in a pinch, they weren’t sold out, now I know why. Not a terrible spot but very overpriced.

Clean, comfortable, family-run place that we love to return to!

Clean quite, although dated the beds were new and comfortable.

It was a great few night stay in Saranac, centrally located and very close to Olympic Village.
Jacuzzi suite was great and relaxing after being in the elements all day!
Bed was comfy

The caretaker/owner took personal care for our comfort. The room was well appointed and had reliable heating and hot water, and had great wifi and cable TV. Excellent location for shopping and dining and across the way from the main lake in town. Sure beats the overpriced lodging in Lake Placid!

Very friendly and helpful

Pros: clean, quiet, convenient location, large room, and the jacuzzi tub worked fantastic.
Cons: shower drain plugged badly which resulted in several inches of standing water while showering, the room smelled like bleach, and the mattress was the worst I have ever slept on (mattress springs are noisy and sag).
Fix the shower and buy new beds for these rooms and they'd be great. Until then I won't return.
10.0
The room was unusual but exactly what we needed for one couple and a cousin: two queen size beds and a third queen size bed separated by a partial wall. Also a decently-sized fridge and a microwave. Check-in and -out is electronic.

Yes the property may be outdated, but was a clean and convenient location to stay for a place to sleep. Would stay again.

Easy check in/out, directions for everything was great

Economy single was a very basic room in need of renovation. Our room was 40 feet from a busy state highway... Lots of noise. Air conditioner did not cool the room even though it was set on 62. It was a warm stuffy night. On one hand this isn't the Hilton at Hilton prices... But even at the economy price, we've had better on our trip.
10.0
Clean, reasonable pricing, activity options, view.
4.0
Close to busy road but view on the lake. Room was spacious, clean and renovated. Bathroom was clean but is very outdated. Outdated furniture mixed matched with new pieces. Ok for one night but should not be listed as a three stars hotel.
4.0
No on premise attendant. Overall just average or below.
3.0
Our room was in fair condition. We spoke with the owner and got some background, we were in the oldest building and they were expecting to work on that set of rooms soon. They were very open to feedback and responsive. Very convenient location.
10.0
Clean room , close to hospital , and quiet for sleep. Would stay again
