The best (family) hotel in the Isle of Man? We were on the island for a few days and wanted to cover as much as possible of the island. The location was perfect to cover north, south, west and eastern parts of the island.
We got a connecting room and had some disturbance in the morning from the room next to us but the staff blocked it off after the guest checked out. Excellent service. Breakfast is somewhat basic but had everything you needed and a great scrambled egg.
Big parking space, friendly and helpful staff. Clean rooms and nice Christmas decoration which gave a nice ambiance. They even have an indoor pool included in the stay, and with option to add access to spa or have treatments.
We had a great stay here. Thank you!

The stay was ok but you have to drive everywhere. My room was not cleaned for the whole week I stayed, food very overpriced, and nearly £20 for breakfast is crazy. When I asked for coffee and milk at reception they questioned if I was a guest. To finish off I went to the restaurant and was told to come back later as they were busy I could only see about 15 people so had to do the walk of shame back to my room. On a positive note a few great receptionists and servers

Stayed here numerous times, always a great place to be.
Stayed in room 321 (I think) and WiFi was awful, never had an issue before, must be because it was the lower floor

Our first time staying here but it won’t be our last. Lovely hotel, friendly and helpful staff who responded to any requests quickly and professionally. Our room was on the lower ground floor & was accessible via the lift or stairs. The room was very quiet, clean and the only negative was no air-con which ordinarily would not be a problem but we had a very hot, sunny week and it would have been nice to have air-con. We asked for a fan and it was immediately made available. We are looking forward to our next visit & have decided that this is now our hotel of choice. One other little niggle was a lack of alcohol free drinks available in the bar eg flavoured ciders but the food in the restaurant was lovely. Thank you for a lovely stay.

Hotel was great. Very comfy room and staff were very good. The only problem was the restaraunt. Not very well run. The food was very expensive and the quality not the best. £5 for a bowl of carrotts as none of the menu comes with any vegatables. Seems like they are ripping off customers.

Great location close to downtown Douglas. Restaurant was outstanding especially the daily dinner specials. Very dog friendly. Great staff.

Very nice hotel!

Despite the air temperature outside being around 16C for our entire stay, the room we were in was uncomfortably hot and there was no AC or fan to help mitigate this. I dread to think what this hotel would be like when the air temperature outside is over 20.
Room furniture is very basic and outdated, I would expect a higher level of luxury from a four star hotel. Not impressed with dogs being allowed in the breakfast room, absolutely disgusting lack of hygiene and regard for anyone who is terrified of dogs.

Easy to find. There was no air conditioning which was unexpected and the hotel seemed to be noisy . Sound insulation wasn’t great . I could hear snoring from the next door room .

Friendly staff. Clean and comfortable. Amazing breakfast with gorgeous views from the restaurant. Unfortunately only stayed one night but would definitely stay again for longer.

The Comis is very clean and quiet with beautiful views of the golf course out every window. The spa was clean and had multiple options for saunas and hot tubs.

We had rooms 605 and 606 which were lovely rooms but they were under the gym which opened at 6.00am and meant we were woken at that time every morning with all the banging above us.

2nd time we've stayed here and highly recommend. It's not your average Isle of Man hotel.

We were at the hotel for a wedding. It went very well, no hitches. The room was lovely, the staff were friendly and helpful. We played golf which was good value.

Very polite and considerate staff - reception and dining! Excellent experience.

Very soulless hotel, sadly. We had a room facing some staff entrance to the hotel on the ground floor so there was traffic outside our window all three days so we were unable to keep the curtains open. Our safe did not work, so that needed looking into. The alarm on the door went off every time we opened the door. The remote of the telly worked sporadically. There was no room service menu in the room even though we were told there was room service? No hot water the last morning for the shower. Hotel bar was poorly stocked: 2 our of 5 (?) pumps out of order and no crisps. If you wanted to eat in the hotel your only choice was to eat dinner in the restaurant which was expensive. No bar food menu after 4 pm. Hotel guests had access to the pool but not the gym, why ? IOM was nice, so that compensated for our disappointment for the hotel. Booked this one as everything else on the island looked old and worn. This hotel was indeed in a good decoractive order, clean and tidy, just completely avoid of any character.

Nice hotel but our room was not cleaned on our 2nd day. Reported to reception when we got back to the hotel in the evening and nothing happened.

We were in a room near the reception area, we was woken on multiple occasions till late because of people running in corridor and just being generally noisy.

Whether for a staycation (as we used it), or for a base to retreat to when visiting the island, this was a great experience.
Breakfast was good, especially the pancake making machine, and a nice spot to sit in even on a rainy day.
The rooms are quite big and the place is easy to navigate.
We used the SPA and after figuring out how to turn the jacuzzi on, was a good addition to the day.
Staff on reception very helpful and seem very willing to aid in questions about other areas of the hotel e.g. SPA, restaurants.

This is a lovely resort and the staff are hands down the nicest group I’ve met on my travels. Nice room, nice food, nice spa, nice friendly people, super clean…and best of all…pet-friendly!

Second stay at this property. As previous, the stay was perfect: comfortable beds, great shower, good room amenities, friendly and helpful staff and convenient parking. Food in the restaurant is excellent. Recommended.

My favourite hotel on the island. Lovely rooms and surroundings. My only criticism is that nasty coffee in the rooms with UHT milk. No one wants to drink that do they?
Restaurant is fabulous and well priced for the quality

Used Comis as a base.

Stayed here again for work for 3 nights. Reception staff were constantly pleasant and attentive at any time of the day. The bedroom cleaning staff were especially helpful for towels etc if you didn’t need your room doing daily. Parking is plentiful. The gym is well serviced with equipment and helpful trainers.

Hotel rooms are dated. Soundproofing (or lack of) is an issue).

This really is a first class hotel in every aspect - staff, furnishings, bar, food, and general facilities. We felt welcome and that nothing was too much trouble. Will definitely return

Beautiful grounds and nice restaurant/bar. Room tended to be hot as we were on the sunny side but I did not request a fan. Very easy to take the bus anywhere from here
