This is my second stay on this property. First time we stayed it was a lovely room with a mountain view, so this time we requested a mountain view room. It was a mountain view room but then we can’t really see the mountain because from our window there are few trees that are blocking the view. My hubby requested it, because he loves to drink coffee in the morning and love to see the the mountain. This stay is not memorable compare to our last stay.

Checked in before supper. Room was comfortable and clean. Fire alarm went off around 4am, but was handled quickly. Staff responded quickly to guest's inquiries and were apologetic. I wanted to have the buffet breakfast and bring food back up to my room as I had work to do, but it's only offered in restaurant. This is my one critique - it would be nice to offer a takeout option as some guests may prefer to eat back in their hotel room.

Our stay was good except for being placed in not the main building without knowing that at time of booking - would have preferred to be notified beforehand that we were booking a room in a seperate building from the pool and other amenities.

I am not sure where they dug the furniture up from but it was older then dirt with so many gauges and scratches. None of it was matching. The mattress was hard as a rock and bathroom sink was all cracked. I will give it credit for being clean though.

We spent one night at the hotel as we had activities planned in Banff for two days. We enjoyed the hot tub. The front desk staff were pleasant ans the hotel and room was clean. I would stay again.

The amenities (quality, condition, availability) were lacklustre when compared to the price point. If I did not have a discount for this accommodation, I would have felt that I significantly overpaid for what could be a high level motel.

I kept getting woke up by loud people in the hall way. Turned out it was the workers talking and joking loud when I got dressed and went out to see what it was the second night. They did close the door between the reception area and the rooms but I already lost sleep for two nights. I was in room 110 close to reception and next to the game room

This place is way overpriced for what it is!!! We were not greeted with a hello at all! Middle aged gentleman in a turban and a young woman both at the front desk and neither bothered to say anything , even when I walked up to the desk they both kept looking at the computer and papers. I said hi and told them I’m staying here can I check in. Why am I telling you this, you should be greeting me! The hotel is extremely dated, clean enough I suppose. The pool area is all rusted and looks so gross staring at it from the hot tub. Our view was a parking lot full of construction, men throwing stuff the entire time. The outside is beautiful and the area is really nice. A 5min drive to town Center. I just don’t understand how you pay over $400 for one night. Not worth it at all!!!

Pros: Very Clean, good price compared to other Banff Hotels. Dated, Loud, door alarms constantly going off throughout the night, video arcade games are all broken. Overall for the price we’d stay again, Banff is not a place you come to stay in your hotel room.

Location was good for our adventures to Banff. It was still a drive to get to Banff, 30 minutes. The room was clean, beds comfortable, bathroom stocked. It is not the hotel's fault, but the road construction made it difficult to walk to places. Bonus-they had a game area; checkers, chess, PAC MAN!!!

It’s next to a busy railway! I should have checked map carefully before I booked. You can hear and feel train passing every 30 to 40 minutes. Beside that, everything is basic, shower water is not warm, and bathroom door is too old to close
