Good motel for the pice

Nice place. Cheap and simple

Older bldg. large gap under door. We put a towel down to help drown out the noise of the people across the hall. They Were loud all night.
The breakfast was a joke. Had only some fruit and bread to make toast.
It was not a $177 room by far

Check in was friendly and welcoming. The downside is there was no elevator so we had to carry our luggage up to the 2nd floor. The beds were comfortable & the room was clean. It was nice they had an open coffee bar but there was very little selection for breakfast. For the price, it was a very nice stay.

The stay was horrible. The staff was rude and the hotel was not very good at all.

Located on the main highway/state road. All was fine. Ok to stay for a night or two. Simple place for simple people.

We arrived shortly after check in time and got access to our room immediately. Management was friendly and efficient. The room was appointed with up-to-date furnishings and conveniences. Breakfast was adequate and satisfying, although limited. (Pancakes and eggs are available at next door fast food restaurants. A good value at discounted rate.

An old motel-style place in need of further updates. They then added a covered bridge motif to snazz it up
The property mgmt seemed difficult to work win on reservation date adjustment's and keeping same accommodations. Ultimately refused to cancel.
My king bed had comfortable cushion, but was seriously worn out in its support. Almost hammock-like.

When I went to breakfast at 8 AM there was only white bread, raisin bran and frosted flakes. When I inquired if they would be restocking the items they had run out of I was informed there would be more food within in 30-40 minutes. I returned several times over the next hour, nothin was restocked. I look for hotels/motels that have even a simple breakfast. This did not live up to any expectations.

I requested a room away from the Main Street and they put us on the first room street side so I guess they didn’t read that. McDonalds was right next door, which is fine except they had a huge generator going on their property which was noisy all night long.

Room is dark and unappealing with Hospital blue LEDs in the lamps. hair hanging from the "clean" towels and a small hair imbedded in one of the wash clothes. The toilet did not flush easily. Sink handle is from the 80s. Small odd pillows on the King bed...The entire place smells weird. Just not a place I would want to stay at in the future. I guess as the old saying goes "you get what you pay for"...

The staff was no there and it said to ring the doorbell or call the number. I arrived at 9:45 pm and I and another guest were both waiting forty-five minutes to get checked in. We kept calling and ringing the doorbell. It says the lobby is open until 11 pm but no one was around

Our second stay here, and we’ll likely return. Friendly, family-run budget hotel very convenient to I-91 and the greater Brattleboro area. Consistently clean, comfortable, good night’s sleep, good value for money. Free WiFi, parking, coffee/basic breakfast options.
Taco place down the street (Tito’s) is also well worth checking out.

We will never stay here again. Everything is run down, and the smell in our room was quite unbearable. We needed a place to stay for one night, but we will not stay here again.

Adequate for a one night stay. Staff was friendly. Could use some updates

Great budget hotel! Friendly staff, clean comfortable room and modest breakfast. I would stay again if I were in the area.

Two lovely nights in Vermont. Nice breakfast area. Clean room. Close to interstate and Greenfield, MA!

Homeless person on lawn just outside hotel window.
Car may not be safe here

Nice, clean, and practical. Convenient to Putney, with good dining options nearby.

They profess to have gotten 4 star review but if you look closer that was in 2020. The property has seen a decline since then. I would not recommend it.
Ps i woke after a rocky night's sleep with bug bites. Didn't see bed bugs so im not sure what it was that made them.

Room floor was dirty. Bathroom smelled of urine. Grounds maintenance was infrequent. Desk folks were friendly. Bed was made daily along with fresh towels. Curtain in room was ripped.

The room was good overall.
I was not impressed with the toilet, there was something preventing the seat from staying up. The hotel does not have an elevator. Just be aware, and try to ask for a room on the ground floor if you have mobility issues. Everything else was fine.

Room was clean , bed clean and comfortable

Housekeeping never came into my room. I stayed from Thursday to Sunday and Housekeeping never came in to provide towels, empty trash or make the bed. I had to call each day for towels. The phone in the room was not operable.

While I wasn't expecting much given the rate, it was actually worse than I anticipated. Check-in was fine, the gentleman was pleasant. Upon entering the room, I was assailed by an odor that can only be described as smelling like someone urinated into the air conditioner unit. It did seem to originate from the AC unit. Opening the window helped some. The room was very damp, for lack of a better description, running the AC did nothing to dehumidfy the room. The desk chair looked like unspeakable acts had taken place upon it, definitely did not want to sit on it. There were four very firm pillows on the bed, not very comfortable, but some people do prefer firmer pillows. Would have been nice to have a variety since there were so many, but ok. There was some kind of bug in the bathroom, but it was small and didn't appear to have friends with it. Overall a nope, never again, for me anyways. May the odds be ever in your favor if you choose to stay there.

Upon driving in the parking lot we noticed the curtains were dirty hanging off the rod, broken screens. We asked to see the room. They led us down a dark hall ( using a phone flashlight) to a dark 70ish room. So we left and booked another hotel. Looked nothing like the pictures. Then they refused to answer when Expedia called them.

Friendly service. Clean rooms at a reasonable price!

The town of Brattleboro is having obvious social struggles. Though not clear until checking in was that many residents of the hotel are on State vouchers of some kind as they are struggling in some way as well... homelessness, addiction, joblessness, etc. This information came directly from my conversations with those residents. The 1st night from 1-3 AM, a "mom" that left her children that night unattended arrived to find her door locked from the inside by her unattended children. She proceeded banging, yelling, pulling on door handles for two hours until the children, police, and management finally got the door open. I made a call to management in those moments and in the morning, I approached management and was only offered a worthless apology. The room was a smoking room in its past and obnoxiously smelled. Sinks drain slowly and the bathroom door knob was Mcgyvered and would lock you in the bathroom if not careful in the middle of the night. The outside grounds were littered with cigarette butts. The hotel is squeezed in between a Wendy's and a McDonald's so expect that litter on premises too. Both restaurants have full-time panhandlers as well. Yes, I could have left but I was assured this place was far "safer" than the other stays in the area. Luckily there was a wooden dowel holding the window closed that I could grip tightly in the middle of the night as a "welcomed guest" at this "business"??

The room was very clean with one of the most comfortable beds I’ve ever slept on.

Might be ok for a night stay during a road trip but I won’t book this place again

The stay was great! Very clean and slept great. Very comfortable beds. Could of used a do not disturb sign..but hey at least they never knocked on our door early in the mornings. So we were gone before they came to clean. And could of used a box of tissues instead of using tolet paper..but hey we still had a comfortable relaxing time there.

Drove into the parking lot and 1st impression not good. Weeds and trash, room windows stained and or dirty. Two older women standing by side entrance smoking cigarettes. Rooms OK. Don’t know how it got 8.6 rating

Easy access, clean rooms, helpful staff. The king sized bed was super comfortable. If you need an economical place to spend a night or two - look no further. Well worth the cost.

Exterior pretty ugly, but the room was very clean, The pillows were like rocks, didn't get much sleep. I usually bring my own but did not have room, sure wish I did. Bring your own pillow.

Property good… breakfast ok but could be better

Generally, a good experience although I missed the hot breakfast I had been looking forward to - no waffles and no doughnuts.

Stayed here for one night. This hotel had a rating of 8 point something but I think it was more like a 7. Front desk staff was friendly (as in no attitude) but not informative: said nothing about breakfast, where the room was located (e.g. best parking area), checkout, etc. Both bath towels looked dirty and weird a smell in room.
Not much out in breakfast room (e.g. saw no milk for coffee or cereal). Then, I realized there was a regular big fridge with a gallon of milk, yogurts, and bags of bagels.
Pros are hotel was cheaper than other in the area and has king bed and fridge and microwave in room. However, I would pay a bit more and stay at a nicer hotel if more days.

central location bargain motel. from outside it’s ugly but the room was redone. could not get TV to work. was too late to ask desk. good value easy parking nice staff

Good place for basic lodgings I stayed for 2 night while cycling around Brattleboro and NH So just really needed a bed to crash at night. Nothing luxurious and a little dated but clean and for the price it was good. I actually expected less the exterior is worse then the interior.
