We had a good stay here. We loved stayed outside by the fire and enjoying the weather.

Room was clean, staff was excellent. Wifi not so great. Pillows not so great.excellent location, lots of restaurants and shops within 5 min drive.

The room was clean. It’s a quaint property without modern conveniences. Outside of the unit the ground is uneven and not good for someone with mobility challenges. There was dog poop outside the entrance that had not been cleaned up. It was very quiet and there is a nice area to sit outside and enjoy the morning and evening. I did not see any staff and the office was closed, so it was self check in with a code. I had trouble with the code to retrieve the key and the answering service never responded to my call. The lock box reset and I was able to get the key. If one expects very little then you won’t be disappointed, but if you have moderate expectations you may not be comfortable at this property.

People were super nice there. They found out I brought my dogs, and when I got back to my room that night, they had put a dog bed in there for me. 10/10 will stay again.

We’ve stayed here four times. The cottages are better than staying in a hotel.

We enjoyed our stay. The facilities are somewhat dated but the inner courtyard was appreciated. Beds were surprisingly comfortable. I would stay here again.

What a cool, renovated old tourist court. Went to Alpine for a museum event and several other attendees were staying at the Antelope, as well. It was fun to hang out in the beautiful courtyard that had abundant seating, tables, grills... inside was so cute and spotlessly clean! The only complaint was the faucet in the bathroom dripped horribly and had no stopper in the sink hole, so in order for us to sleep we had to sacrifice a washcloth over the hole. Otherwise, hell yeah we"ll stay there whenever we come to Alpine!

The space is stylish and clean and the staff are helpful and friendly. It’s dog friendly, which was important to us. And just a twenty minute drive away from Marfa. The lodge had amenities we didn’t have a chance to take advantage of: a fire pit, an air conditioned lobby with games, and a really cute gift shop. We also couldn’t beat the price! I will recommend the Antelope Lodge and look forward to staying again!

I stayed here for one night in April 2024. I checked in at 9pm after hiking longer than I expected in Big Bend National Park. While there was no one in the office, there was an envelope on the door with my name on it with a key and the Wifi code inside. I did like that because I was worried at first of how I was going to check in. The place has a nice and relaxing courtyard. The room was a vibe with all the 1950's feels including a 1950's looking microwave and fridge. There was an older 1950's looking table and chairs and other decore in my room. The bathroom was clean but I didn't care much for the shower. The bed was clean and comfy. I would stay here again.

The whole check in process sucked. Even with an open sign the door message for Expedia guest to use the lockbox was very put offish. I did not notice the bleached out map so had a had time finding the unit. Wanted to take a shower after a long day of hiking in the sun. It was almost warm. And by the time I settled in to surf the net I needed a password that was not provided and the lobby was by this point locked tight.

I very much enjoyed my stay at Antelope Lodge. I stayed in the "basic single" which provided more than adequate space for the night. Be warned, however, the bathroom is a tight squeeze! The basic single rooms are located right next to the highway, so only check into one if you're a heavy sleeper. The staff was very kind and accommodating with my late check-in.

Loved it! super cute bed was comfy if i had one negative thing it would be the bathroom....toilet kinda close to the wall but we adjusted. Also great location. We would stay there again for sure

I chose this property because it was cute and historic, and because in the photos you can see that some rooms have small kitchens. I intentionally booked a room that had a kitchen, listed as "cottage, 1 queen bed". When I didn't get the kitchen I went to the front desk and was told that the kitchens were taken out a couple of years ago and the owners have failed to update the photos on Expedia. Aside from that, I was happy with my room and enjoyed the cute historic touches.

Stayed 1 night enroute to driving back home from a NM roadtrip. I've driven thru Alpine before, but never spent the night. It's a cute, kitschy little town with scenic views, nice restaurants & a peaceful atmosphere. The cabins at the Antelope Lodge are comfy, private & quiet. Our cabin faced the open courtyard that was under a huge old tree with seating, a firepit & bbq grills. We also had chairs & a patio area outside our door.
It was roomy, with a separate bedroom and living/dining area. Fridge, coffeemaker, microwave and TV's in bedroom & iving room were all included.
It showed a little wear, but that just added to its historic feel (built in 1950). My only concerns were electrical as we noticed some lights dimmed when the TV was turned on?
I'd stay there again if I was in the Alpine area.

Antelope lodge was great. It was a cozy cottage feel. The staff members were hospitable and were all happy to help. Unique experience and great vintage/ gift shop in the lobby. Great little getaway while exploring the desert. Would definitely come back.
