Good comfortable stay. Rooms were clean and reasonably spacious. Location was good and easily accessible by all transport means. Hotel staff were very helpful.

We booked and paid for a superior room, but was put in a standard room. Receptionist couldn't resolve, and had to pass it to day time manager, next day. Next day we got our superior room. No aplogy. Dining room is to cramped. They need to take some furniture out. Breakfast was very average, and mostly cold. Room was lovely and staff were lovely to. No bar, sign saying it was being refurbished, but saw no work taking place, just looks like they have closed it.

The location was excellent. Room was cleaned evey day. Breakfast in the morning had a good variety. I loved the Lido where thw pool was situated. I couldn't fault the hotel or its staff.
6.0 / 10.0
Adequate for a one night stay but wouldn't want to stay longer. Right on pavement of narrow busy sideroad with alot of building work underway nearby.
Dark & very busy reception, no bar/cafe/refreshment facilitates other than very busy breakfast buffet.
Pool across road right on harbor, looked nice, had a cafe.

Summary in three words:
DONT.BOOK.IT.
The worst value for money, slow wifi, needs refurb, horrible breakfast.

Nice clean hotel with friendly staff. In a built up area and not as relaxing as we thought the holiday would be. Free access to aqualuna pool was good however it was very busy each time we used it and could be cleaner. Good breakfast.

I and my wife enjoyed our stay, everything like the shops and restaurants and other places of interest was in close proximity. The staffs were nice and everywhere was neat and tidy. We’ll definitely be back! Excellent service for sure!

We had a pleasant stay at Azur, although the breakfast caotic and was not offering plenty of choices (meal was boring and the same everyday).

I recently stayed at Azur Hotel in Sliema, Malta. The location is fantastic, just a block from the boardwalk and the heart of Sliema. The room was clean but had some maintenance issues.
There were significant problems with my stay. I paid for an ocean view room but received a standard room with no compensation. Additionally, there was a major miscommunication about my extended reservation. The staff rudely demanded I leave the room, even making me go to the front desk in my pajamas. Although they tried to make amends, the experience was unpleasant.
Overall, the hotel has potential, but better communication and attention to reservations are needed. Double-check your booking details to avoid similar issues.

Location was fabulous for restaurants and transport. Hotel is tucked away in a side street off a main road. Breakfast is included and made for a great start for the day exploring Malta.

The hotel room was very clean and spacious with plenty of wardrobe space too. I would say that the hotel staff were the best part, alway polite and helpful.
The pool across the road was great too, the top levels always had loads of free sun beds.

While the hotel room was nice and clean and had strong A/C, there were issues. We arrived at 2am, paid for 5 days of parking, when in reality it was less than 4 days worth, and we were told to park “anywhere” in this particular lot. We parked in the same spot every single day and then upon check out, we were delayed as we had been boxed-in by unknown vehicles. The hotel said we were supposed to park on a particular side but there was no signage indicating that and that also contradicted the staff we dealt with on check-in. The manager was able to text the owners of the vehicles and our car was unboxed within a half hour. We were panicked because we needed to return our rental car and get to the airport. Next, this trip was to celebrate our honeymoon and the hotel was very quick to respond and help me make a plan for when we arrive with chilled white wine, artificial rose petals and a note in our room. I was planning this as a surprise for my husband. We arrived in the room and found a warm bottle of white wine on the bed, so warm, it was undrinkable. We also found two towel swans with 10 blue artificial petals around them, 1 small purple feather and a few plastic gem pieces. This was not romantic at all. In fact, my husband couldn’t even tell that this was outside of a normal set up. I had to tell him this was a surprise that I planned/paid for. I discussed it with the manager, as I was not happy and she was kind but did not offer any solution or refund. We won’t be back.

Hotel was good clean and staff were very nice and helpful. Room was smaller than expected and there was quite a lot of noise from outside building work from about 7am
Tables were very close together at breakfast which made carrying food and drinks to your table difficult. Staff were excellent and very attentive and friendly.

The hotel staff were generally helpful, including the tours/trips organiser (Fiona) but some of the evening staff not so good. Breakfast was decent overall but predictable. Cleanliness was excellent but there are 13 floors and one of the two lifts was constantly out of action during our week’s stay despite multiple attempts to fix it. Our TV also had no English channels working and even when fixed was limited to BBC and Al Jazeera news - not that we wanted to watch TV much but a bit surprising for a country where English is a national language and there are so many British visitors. The position is convenient even if on a side street and the access to the waterfront pool area is good. It’s located within a couple of minutes walking of bus stops with multiple frequent local buses into Valletta and also the Sliema ferry terminal. Overall a really decent base for sightseeing but just needs some more attention to detail and customer service.

The rooms were spacius and the bathroom was superb. Hotel was clean and the staff were friendly and helpful. View could have been better, but then you pay extra for that. The breakfast was excellent, however the hotel suffers from this as it is always very busy, and in although the dining area looks spacious when empty, when its busy it is hard to move around and the backs of the seats knock together. But overal superb and cant be beaten on value.

Perfect spot for base in Sliema. Just on side street off main drag this ST hotel offers all the same comforts as the other hotels in this group. I had the quietest room which was fab. Same great breakfast which despite number of guests was extremely well organised and stocked. I love the ST group hotels and very much enjoy staying in ST hotels. Highly recommend. This ti,e I also used pass to Aqua Luna seafront pool club which was amazing. First class location, waiter service and the best food I have had in Sliema.
ST hotels are my no1 choice for Sliema. Sliema is also the best base for seeing round Malta.

Convenient location and great value for money. Looks like it was built or refurbished recently. Spacious room and comfortable bed but there’s no noise insolation so you can hear people talk in the next room. Pillows were so thin it’s like not having one. Checkin was slow and was asked to enter my credit card details for deposit on a piece of paper, rather sketchy.

The hotel is very clean & modern and the room is spacious & nice. The staff are all friendly and kind especially Milena who is so helpful & kind :). I loved the outdoor pool - Lido - so much for sun-bedding, reading, swimming & napping :). Also, the breakfast is awesome as well. I will definitely come back here when I visit to Malta again.

Hotel was well located, and transport was very accessible.
Two things we were not happy about : very noisy, people next door were unrescpectful and loud, doors slamming early in the morning, people screaming and weren't mindful of others, so, we couldn't really rest during our stay... also the room was cleaned in the late afternoon, which was not practical.. we always left in the morning, and came back late but the maid hasn't done it even though she cleaned next door in the morning... Breakfast was ok, but needs a change in choice and also a fresh fruit basket instead of a fruit salad that's always the same...

I like this hotel because everything was decent for me, except that the temperature of the shower water was not hot like I have expected.
To be honest, I didn't expect the view from my room, but I could catch see the sea (from the side of the balcony)!

They haven't used mattress covers since covid which is very unhygienic.

The hotel is very nice and appears to have been recently built. Staff are attentive and cleaning of the rooms is good.
Buffet breakfast is of good quality.
The pool facilities are very nice and we enjoyed them very much. I do imagine they could be very busy in the summer though.
Frequent buses outside the hotel to Valletta, including a night bus until 2am.
Our room was a little bit loud and sound proofing against the outdoors could have been better.
Overall a good stay, would visit again.

We were crammed like sardines for breakfast- it was insanely overwhelming. We even went on the ‘off hours’ for breakfast.
I have travelled all over the world and never had a run in with bed bugs- but I did at this hotel. My sheet covering the mattress had slipped off and I saw a mound of bed bugs. We left the hotel. I spent the rest of my vacation scratching my arm.
I have never left a bad review for a hotel, but I would never stay here again.

Everything was perfect aside from our double bed actually being two mattresses, this may have been mentioned on the booking but we expected a double bed - we kept falling in between the mattresses!

Very good room Service, you habe to see concreat at room, some not nice parts at bathroom, some sound from outside, ok for some days, breakfast with all sugar drinks (sugar at most drinks). Egg and croisants are fresh and good.

it is a good hotel at a good place. travelled by public transport and there are several buses just 3 mins from the hotel. Room was nice but no view from the balcony (can live with that). Finally a hotel that takes seriously what they say about towels (hang if you dont need replacement and it saves water). I had breakfast included and that was good as well. Strange that there is not much English language channel on the telly but you can watch all German ones

This is a great place to stay. It's about 15m up a sidestreet so no noisy traffic. Its got 176 rooms (we counted them on the lift sign) so it's not a small hotel . Its part of a chain of ST hotels and you can see them from this one. If you google maps you'll see its just off the coast road . You can walk to the sea in about 1 minute or less. There is no swimming pool though. The pictures you see on line are off aswimming pool but if you look at the other ST hotels they all have the same pictures of the pool. Its actually a shared pool. We went in December so never went swimming as it was too cold so never even saw the pool either. The rooms are all clean and tidy. The ceuling needed painting as it was just bare concrete but it may have been part of the look maybe. The bathroom was perfecrly clean everywhere and the bed shown on the picture is a double but actually 2 singles pushed together. Breakfast is awsome , full cooked english breakfast with continental and everything else you could possibly wish for. Its a buffet style , so help yourself.
We paid £184 for 2 people for 5 nights in December, including breakfast. The hotel arranged transfer at 20 euros from airport (25 after midnight), which we thought was good value. Definitely go to popeye Village, its a great way to spend 3hours and 14 each entrance fee. Busses are 2 euros per person for 2hours travel. Just give your cash to the driver and get the ticket. You can use this ticket on any bus until your 2 hours runs out.

The reception staff were all very polite and nice. Breakfast was good and there was enough to choose from. Nothing bad to say about this and the price at the time was very reasonable.

The Hotel is nice and room was good. Strange the ceiling was not painted but not a problem. My main problem, is that the Hotel does not have the swimming pool in the pictures on Hotels.com. Instead the pictures advertised are part of a club 5 minutes walk away from the hotel but this is not specified in the hotel details. There is free access to this club for hotel guests. Hence I was quite disappointed as I would not have picked this hotel had I know this.
