Elevetor out of service from the late afternoon, for the check out early in the morning need to carry for 5 floors the luggage’s and nobody helping.
During the stay and during all night many noise from other rooms full of young people that shouting and screaming for funn until 4 AM.

Suzi Q bar do delicious banana Mojitos. Only downside to my stay was the lift broke a couple of times during the week. On our last day it broke which resulted in us having to carry our suitcases down 6 floors

First night was Bad , the hotel chillers was spoiled i believe everyone suffer this day but the next day the manager in charge make it up for us and give us a bigger appartment and additional time for checking out, Managers trying to please the clients actually they are doing their works perfectly but the hotel needs alot of maintenances and maybe upgrading there fridges also not good and their showers has leackages etc...

The pictures they show are NOT of this hotel. The cross pool pictured is situated at a different hotel. Please be aware of this before booking so to not be disappointed like we were when we turned up. Was told it was €30 per person, per day to use that pool that they show in the pictures. Only small rooftop pool at this hotel.

I stayed in Room 404 as a solo traveller. The Hotel and Location is PERFECT. It’s a beautiful bay with the boats tours to other locations a short walk away. Breakfast is superb , fantastic bar and a pasta restaurant and others . The rooftop sunbathing is superb with a nice pool and showers and saunas and heated indoor pool . I am coming back as it’s perfect for me. Gina the room service lady does a fantastic job and is a credit to the Hotel all staff are superb and it was a pleasure to stay here

Not bad for an ST Hotels property but not the nicest one in the group, having stayed at the Azur Hotel I think the Azur is nicer than the Bayview. Some minor housekeeping challenges and the room is a little small but all in all a good stay. Recommend to look at the Azur or Alavits instead of the Bayview. Visit Fasta Pasta in the lobby of the hotel for the nicest pasta on the island, maybe in the world!

Shower tray was broken which meant there was water flowing into the bedroom and into the corridor. The room should not have been let out in that state. With limited time wanting to explore Malta, we didn’t want to waste our time but ended up explaining the issue to 4 different people who didn’t write anything down and passed on half the information to others. I don’t believe the room would pass safety standards as having that much water flowing in a room is obviously dangerous.
The staff weren’t very helpful, especially Ajay who seemed to think it wasn’t an issue.
It’s a shame as the location is good.

Customer service was wonderful. Staff on site at all times. Very friendly and willing to help. Great location between Gzira and Sliema... so many restaurants right outside the door. 10 min walk to Valletta ferry. Breakfast was outstanding - such a great variety. Others must enjoy the hotel because it was busy! Great job, ST Bayview!

My room was clean and comfortable especially the bed. However my friend's room was cold and she could not get wi-fi despite mentioing these to reception on 3 occasions. Overall the hotel has good facilities but is a bit tired. The breakfast was really well presented with lots of choice and very enjoyable.

The hotel itself needs big improvements, our room had mold on the bathroom ceiling, the window was broken and we had to call someone to fix it so we could close it overnight. The cleaning was not the best, a lot of hairs left on the floor, cleaning staff are not coming all the times to clean, they didn’t come to our room for 2 days in a row even if we called the reception. The swimming pool at the 7th floor was not heated on a Sunday Morning, the sauna door is broken and doesn’t close properly..
The staff were great and helpful every single time, that is a bonus of this hotel.
With one exception, the italian lady selling the Malta tours at the front desk. Please pay attention and ask what you’re getting for the price! She sold us €95 tickets to get to Gozo and Comino. But she never mentioned that the transport within the island is not included!! We got there and remained on the bay area for 2 hours.
Location of the hotel is great, with easy access everywhere, Bolt is very cheap to travel around. I recommend going to Julian’s Bay and The point shopping centre, great area. The view from the hotel’s rooftop is great!

I stayed here for 2 nights. Was a big hotel and a nice big room. Had a swim in the pool at 7pm which was a bit dark but ok. Breakfast was really nice a big range of food. Bus stop across the road which was handy. I enjoyed my stay here.

We have been coming back to this place several times since 2009 with a big group of family and running friends. We like most things very much and are always satisfied when we leave.
We discussed the AC with reception because it didn´t do the room cooler. Answer was that it don´t cool, because people only like it to heat up. We stayed in late February and like it cool. Can´t imagine how hot the room must be during the summer period.
The pool and sauna area are a bit dated but worked fine for our group after running marathon and half marathon. The terrace is a nice place to stay for some hours after check-out. Resting there before heading to the airport. We will for sure be back again!

We had a great stay the hotel is in a great location right on the sea front. Ideal for a budget weekend trip away, the room was fairly spacious and had a fairly comfortable bed and the staff were all very friendly. Only things that let it down were; lifts were small and slow, some black mould/damp in bedroom and bathroom and a broken tile but didn’t effect the use at all! The spa was very busy and main pool was cold but was supposed to be heated. Overall a good stay!

Bayview Hotel is a very beautiful, modern hotel located 10 minutes walking from Sliema and just 15 minutes to Valletta by bus or ferry. There are two direct buses to the airport. The receptionists were friendly and helpful and spoke perfect English. There was a huge British-style breakfast every morning. I booked a standard room which was very clean and tidied up daily. Most of the room was taken up by a huge, comfortable bed. There was a TV with German channels, a small balcony facing a courtyard, and a bathroom with shower. The top floor of the hotel has a small pool and wellness area, with indoor and outdoor pools (unfortunately not heated while I was there - December 2023), a "jacuzzi" (small lukewarm pool with one jet), massage and fitness areas, and a sauna (which you had to book 1 hour in advance). The rooftop lounge was perfect for sunbathing by the pool even though it was too cold (for me!) to swim. Unfortunately the whole fitness/wellness area was only open from 10-18h so there was no possibility of a workout before breakfast or a sauna in the evening. I spent most of my days sightseeing so didn't use the wellness options as much as I would have liked.
The neighborhood is lively but not touristy. There are dozens of restaurants, bars, and hotel bars within easy walking distance, ranging from casual to upscale to fast food to healthy eating. My favorite one was The Balance Bowl vegan restaurant, just 5 minutes walking from the hotel.

Excellent location...staff were friendly and efficient. Breakfast buffet had good choice and tables were cleaned and cleared as you finished eating. Comfortable bar area with large TVs showing mainly live sport. Bus stop to go to Valetta across the road and to head north towards st Julian's outside hotel. Ferry service to Valetta near by and a cheap and scenic way to enter Valetta.
Room was clean and spacious and well worth paying a little more for sea view.Great views from roof top pool with sunloungers.
I would definitely book this hotel again.

This hotel is well situated on the main promenade in Gzira, surrounded by many bars/restaurants and has a bus stop on the doorstep to access the rest of the island. Most of the staff are extremely friendly and helpful, particularly those serving breakfast on a morning and the cleaning staff. We were only B&B so can only comment on breakfast, which had a good selection of items to choose from and was regularly replenished by the hardworking staff. We had a room in the side annex which was a good size and we were fortunate enough to have a large terrace with sun loungers. The rooms were cleaned daily and towels replenished as required, although the bedding was not changed during our 9 night stay. The air conditioning in our room worked well and kept the room at a comfortable temperature. Unfortunately, whilst the shower was of a generous size, the doors did not close properly so the bathroom floor would flood every time we took a shower. Our first visit to the rooftop pool found it full of people, with no spare loungers and a quite cloudy looking pool. However, on subsequent visits, the pool was clear and inviting and there were plenty of loungers. Our biggest issue with this hotel is the lift situation. Our building had 1 lift for 6 floors, which would have been okay were it not for the fact that it was the same lift used by staff. This meant that you often couldn’t get in the lift as beds were being moved around the hotel, or the trolley for bags of laundry was in there

The hotel needs to improve the way it is displayed on the website because on the first day we had a bit of a problem there, because restless and hotel we were allocated, it was not the same as the one displayed on the website. Different room and positions, we had to complain to the manager and then be allocated the room we had seen in the booking app.
We realised that other people also had the same problem.

The hotel itself was extremely clean, staff friendly, breakfast had great choice and even catered for ‘gluten free’ requirements BUT the air conditioning in the bedroom was awful and made it extremely difficult to sleep at night !!! However, the air conditioning in public areas was excellent !!! Bayview, please sort out the bedroom air conditioning then I would have given you 5 stars all round

Booked this hotel several months before our trip. When we turned up they first seemed to think we had no booking, then said we'd been moved to their 'sister' hotel. Met someone at the other hotel who said the same had happened to them. It seems clear they are overbooking this 'Bayview' hotel and then sending excess customers elsewhere. This is not acceptable. I'm still waiting for an adequate response from Expedia.

Worst accomodation experience ever!! It the first time i am writting a review but i feel the need to inform others planning to visit the hotel.
1. We stayed 3 nights to which the 2 we didnt even sleep as there was a lot of noise on the floor. The fire alarm went off both nights with no actual fire one night at 4 o'clock and the other at 1 o'clock.
2. For 2 days there was no hot water as the hotel was full and it run out for all the hotel rooms. The management staff was not helpful at all!! They are not problem solvers. They told us we will send someone but each time no one came to fix the issue.
3. Hairdryer was not working either in our room and a lot of other rooms as we find out from other guest as well.
4. The toilet room was too small and to sat on the toilet you had to do it diagonaly.
Overall this a bad experience we will never forget in a negative aspect.

Stayed for 4 nights choose hotel for convenience to visit Valletta via ferry unfortunately weather conditions meant ferry didn’t operate at all during stay which was very disappointing and made each trip into Valletta a trial as buses were full and didn’t stop so needed taxis 10 euros each way .
Hotel was lovely , would definitely stay again as very good value excellent breakfast and lovely pool area on the roof . Some Reception staff could have been friendlier and more helpful . Weather could have been a lot better
