Cabin that we stayed in was very rustic. Everything was small/short - which was not good for my 6'6 husband.

Bedding (especially for the couch) looks and feels very used.
Location is good.
Mosquito net on the window would be very helpful.
4.0
Not worth it.
the owner was very responsive but the property itself was not satisfactory compared to what I paid for.
Weak wifi and internet data - you will lose connectivity in the next day. If you shower, the toilet will have wet floor.

Not so good but not terrible.

Beautiful location, perfect little spot with everything we needed.

Basic accommodation, did the job.

The door is broken can’t lock whole night in middle of no where, no one help check in, no air ventilation need to open window , a lot of bug and mosquitos sleep with you. Where is the spa pool shown in the booking website?

It was quiet around us out in the nature but it wasn't clean and no heating.Even the towelheater in the restroom wasn't working. The bed was a big mess and very questionable if the linens were changed at all.
We woke up with bugs bite both of us.

Wonderful bucolic stay.

Just what we were looking for feeling calm and peace.

Beautiful property surrounded by horses and mountains. Only a 9 minute drive to secret lagoon. So cosy and comfortable. Easy access and we watched the sunset was dreamy! Highly recommend.

Fantastic spot in an amazing place!

Great location(relatively close to geysers), but overall it was too expensive for what it was, compared to every where else we stayed at in Iceland.
The sofa bed is uncomfortable. There’s no trash cans. It’s very challenging to find the place. The instruction on the email is poorly translated to English.
The owner was very nice and responsive on the phone.

The host was very nice and super responsive when we had issues with the wifi, although it was never fixed during our stay. Biggest frustration was the advertised blackout curtains which didn’t cover the whole windows. The one in front of the double glass doors were a good 18 inches off the ground letting in a lot of light in the middle of summer which made it hard for my kids to get to sleep. Bed was super soft! But they were 2 single beds pushed together so I ended up in the crack a few times! Fold out bed is quite small though.

Bathroom area was not really clean

I have taken pictures there were spider webs all over the room . House was very dirty . There were no tissue papers . Utensils were dirty. We preferred to stay out as much as possible and. Only came back at 1 pm to just sleep. Horrible experience and completely water our money. This was only bad experience we had at Iceland otherwise everything about our trip was perfect.

When we arrived, we found a well equipped and handsome cabin in a beautiful place. However, I would not stay there again in summer for one reason: during the night we were eaten alive by bugs. When we first got in, I noticed a lot of no-see-ums tapping to get out the windows. Perhaps because of unusual summer warmth, it was uncomfortably warm in the cabin, but though we thought of getting window air, we couldn’t leave any windows or doors open because of the clouds of bugs. Even so, all three of us were bitten on every bit of exposed skin during the night. Not only did we not get much sleep, we are still itching all over a week later. A look in the guest book suggests that most people visit in winter, when this cabin would provide quiet and close access to the glacier and a view of northern lights. I would come to this property then, but in the summer this place needs screens and fans. We paid for our stay here with numerous days and nights of scratching at bug bites.

Decent for last minute stay. Water did smell like sulphur and the cottage was very small for 4.

Our Wifi did not work well on our cell phones but was fine on a laptop. Our front door did not lock. The stove was difficult to figure out, but we eventually got it. Great scenery.

There was a cobweb on the ceiling, so I slept on one side in case the spider would fall off.

The cabin was very quaint and we loved the surrounding area!

Great cabin with all the necessities. Beautiful surroundings made for a peaceful and comfortable stay.

The fotos doesn't match reality. Many fotos show a completely different room with a TV and leather sofas and a big modern bathroom. That is not what you get
The cottage is very small. We could barely fit our luggage and 4 people. The shower is old and worn. The pictures of the small room also does not match reality. It looks quite nice and modern in the fotos, but most af the interior is old and worn. The bed was extremely soft and the sheets and linnen were old, stiff and worn.
Neither the bed nor the foldout sofa was made up when we arrived. The sofa was very difficult to fold into a bed and seemed old and wonky. Maybe it was broken. One of the windows was cracked and there were little flies in the corner of all the windows, which was blackened a little from mold around the edges. The overall feeling was not very nice, and I would not recommend this place to anyone. I do not understand the very nice reviews this place has gotten.
It wasn't a place I would chose to stay, if I had other options (4 people sleeping in a Dacia Dusters was not an option). We were glad to leave the next morning.

This is a cute cabin on a horse ranch. It had a workable kitchen, was clean, and had great views of the horses and hills. Just watch out for the shower cause it isn’t level and shifts when you stop in it (it’s also very small.. but this is a small house). I got an email a few days before the stay and everything was as they said.

Amazing place if you love nature, horses are the best part.
Plan to bring groceries or food before arrive, the nearest town has limited options and operating hours.

The place was a lttle hard to find but an excellent stay!

We loved our stay here, the location was great, we had coffee out on the deck in the morning just looking at the view. Cabin was really warm and had everything we needed to cook our dinner etc. Wifi was also really good. We stayed as a two but there's easily enough room for 4 with the sofa bed.
Check-in process was simple and communication with hosts was really good. Plenty of space to park and though there are a couple of other cabins around it feels as if you're there on your own.
Would highly recommend staying here while in iceland.

Quiet place to stay, ideally located if you only have 2 days in Iceland, close to the golden circle stops.

We have had a wonderful trip in Iceland. However, this stop we regret. There were bed bugs in our cabin. The bed was so soft that we had the kids sleep on the bed and the adults slept on the pull-out couch. The kids now have bed bug bites on their hands, arms, legs and neck. The shower temperature was lukewarm and smells like sulphur. From the outside the cabins are beautiful.

It was nice. We made a mistake in the place and I wanna apologize for it again here. As others said it could be difficult to find the place, but as we arrived there during the day we didnt have any problem to reach.

One of the best places we stayed in iceland. Beautiful property and beautiful cottage. Wish we stayed there longer!

I loved the privacy, the friendly horses, the view, the fast response of the owner. Very comfortable cottage with kitchen and all necessary appliances, (very handy since we did grocery shopping at the supermarket.) I would have loved staying longer, but had to continue the ring road.
