This intimate hotel was just the ticket for this town. Beautifully manicured courtyard, free parking and rooms made for families. As of October 2024, the bridge through the center of town is out, but it looks like it will be restored soon. We received excellent customer service from the staff, especially Alex. They took a genuine interest in ensuring our time in the Inka sacred valley was pleasant and that we got the most out of our brief time there.

We were helped by the office staff. They woke up early morning at 5:30am and got auto rickshaw for us. The early morning, breakfast made for us . Very personalized service they provided. Thank you for doing all that for me.

Very quiet small hotel. About 5 minutes away from good restaurants. Very friendly staff and a good breakfast

This place was beautiful and, the staff were so lovely and helpful! The only reason we've knocked down 1 star is just that the bed was perhaps the firmest bed I've ever encountered. But the rest of the experience was lovely and definitely worth it.

The facilities and room conditions don’t worthy the price although the service is good.

Alex, a part owner and manager was very friendly and nice. Property is a good mile walk from the plaza de Arma and road pretty roughy to walk on, paved with random stones. No problem for youngsters, But, local 3 wheelers can take you there for 3 soles which is less than a dollar.

Wonderful place , a bit away from town but very close to the architectural sight. Veronica the host is amazing. We reached late after a full day of SV tour all tired and hungry. She did not speak English but she was so caring and helpful. With my kids basic Spanish language skills, she understood that we all are too tired and hungry to walk for dinner , she got us some fruit to eat and then called a restaurant that could communicate with us in English to order food for delivery. Served us wonderful breakfast early in the morning. The place has beautiful views and very beautiful garden. Loved our stay!!

Excellent property for visiting the Sacred Valley area. The caretaker of the property did an amazing job looking after the hotel, as well as us. She even made sure we had breakfast at 5am for our early departure that day! Truly above and beyond.

The Hotel Tierra Inka Sacred Valley is a great place to stay in Ollantaytambo. The hotel is very quiet and well equipped. Alex and Leo are super helpful and can arrange all sorts of trips in the Sacred Valley, all of Peru and even Bolivia. Plenty of hot water in the shower and a good breakfast to get the day started. Many hotels in Ollantaytambo can be noisy at night, but this hotel is on the edge of town in a quiet area, but still less than 5 minutes walk from the ruins. The nearby Apu Veronica Restaurant, next to the bridge, is amazing. Both the hotel and restaurant are local family owned and operated. Hope to be back soon

Remarkable views of the Ollantaytombo Ruins and the Veronica glacier. Outstanding service, clear rooms, super comfortable beds and solid internet connection. You can easily get to the Ruins by walking or mototaxi. The plaza is about a 15 min walk or 3 min drive. Great restaurants in the areas.

This property was a hidden gem. The family who owns it was very welcoming and accommodating and made us feel at home. The room was clean and comfortable for our one night stay and they prepare you breakfast in the morning. There is also a nice outdoor space to read or relax amongst the mountains. The only thing to note is it isn't right in the middle of town, it's a few minute walk to get into town which wasn't a big issue for us.

Hotel Tierra Inka Sacred Valley is the nicest hotel I have seen in Ollantaytambo. The staff and owner were very hospitable and friendly and made sure our group of 4 was taken care of. Breakfast was delicious, the entire property has great views, beautiful garden, and most importantly, SUPER CLEAN. I have slept like a baby the entire time, beds and pillows are very comfortable. No AC, no Heater, you don’t need any of these, just the perfect temperature in the room. I cannot emphasize enough at how great their customer service is, I have not experienced such service from other properties as this one.

We had an amazing stay and staff are welcoming and nice. Highly recommend this place. This place is a hidden gem! Alex is very helpful- from helping us with arranging transportation and assisting us getting to Humantay Lake- definitely check out this hotel for future travels if you’re looking for a home away from home. Clean, quiet, safe, convenient location, and breakfast is good too!

Alex and his team went above and beyond to take care of us during our stay. Hotel is conveniently located from the main shopping/ dining area and 15 min walking distance from the train to Machu Pichu. Alex even arranged a taxi for us to show us sites like moray, maras, etc. to our next part of the journey to Cusco. Overall an excellent experience.

The hotel is located at a secluded location that is close to restaurants, shops, and the train station but without any of the noises. The staff was very friendly and helpful. We had a comfortable one-night stay before heading off to Macchu Picchu.

10 mins walk from the main square …. Reachable by a dirt road. The hotel is surrounded by mountains in the back so the scenary is pretty. The staff was nice. Lot of chickens and dogs in the area so I was awaken by the barking etc. didn’t like the walk to the main square because it was dusty from the cars passing by but liked the friendly staff. Good value for money.

Alex was a great host and even booked a taxi to pick us up from the airport! The property was nice and well maintained. We had a large room with a nice and clean bathroom. Alex answered all of our questions, helped us book excursions and gave many recommendations. This is a great property to stay at and we highly recommend!

We were the only guests. The manager (possibly the owner) did her best to make sure we had a comfortable stay. The bed and pillows were hard, but perhaps a lot of people prefer that, just not me. The breakfast was delicious and our room was very clean.

We stayed 3 nights in March. We liked the location, away from the main square and busy road, although it is about a 5 minute walk. The property is super clean and well maintained and the service is excellent. Breakfast was so, so, but that is understood given the price. If there is no hot water outside of mornings and afternoons, ask the manager and he will put the heat on. Overall nice for the rating and price.

We loved the garden and mountain views. We had a second floor room and we could see the surrounding mountains. The hotel is less than a 1/2 mile from the Ollantaytambo Ruins and town. Very peaceful setting. Good breakfast in nice room overlooking the garden. Only drawback was lacked sufficient hot water.

The hotel staff was very friendly and helpful in arranging for airport transfers and any other tour/transfer services. The room was comfortable with extra blankets to keep us warm during the night. Since it's a bit away (5-10 minutes walk) from the main square, it's convenient yet quiet. The only suggestion for improvement would be the shower, it was barely luke warm, not hot.

The hotel is about 15-20 min walk from the train station. Besides the ruins there’s not much more to see in Ollanta so you could easily get there in the early hours and stay somewhere else instead of sleeping here. This hotel was nice, spacious rooms and away from the main area. The beds had some insects, probably as a result of the room having been empty and bedsheets not being changed. Breakfast was great and personnel very attentive.

:) The place is beautiful, very comfortable and quiet in the middle of the mountains with view to the ruins of the city. Very close to the center of the town and 15-minute walk from the train station. :( Mid-September gets cold at night and they rent you the heater for an additional $5 a night. I asked for one but they didn’t have anymore. Also the shower never gets too hot and doesn’t have a lot of pressure.
