Conveniently located close to the Haram (7 mins walk), also shuttles are always available. My room had a fantastic Haram view on the 28th floor. Super clean, friendly staff and an excellent breakfast (between 6:30 and 10:30am). My stay was perfect!

Excellent stay for Umrah. Close to Masjid, 24 hr frequent shuttle service, never had to wait. Was upgraded to a twin suit on 27th floor with beautiful view. House keeping service was very quick when asked for toilet papers or anything.
Breakfast was really good. Should provide some varieties, gets boring if you stay for 4/5 days.
Highly recommended

When you go for umrah this hotel is exactly what you need. It had the most luxurious and comfy bed and bathroom I've ever stayed in. The room was very large and closet had ample space for ahram and other clothes. The bathroom had two shower options to choose from, the rain shower was much fuller and heavier than I've experienced before. The only issue was that the shower door didn't close properly so every time we showered water came out all over the floor but we had enough
towels to soak it.
2 restaurants available to choose from.
The breakfast buffet included desi, Arabic and continental options with live eggs/omelettes and excellent tasting coffee! It was the best hotel breakfast buffet I've seen and well worth getting. Service at all points was excellent.
We ate in the other cafe every night when we came back and there was a wide variety of room service options available but we didn't order it. The cafe had enough variety for very filling and delicious 3 course meal both nights we were there. The burger was slightly overcooked but all other Arab Italian dishes were really good as well as the dessert. The shuttle service is quick and drops you off near the Conrad so you just take the lift down to haram. You come out almost in front of the umrah gates so very convenient.
I went to haram at all times and never had to wait longer than 10mins for the shuttle. Overall excellent ambience, food, service and the most comfy mattress I've ever slept on, I didn't want to leave!

not so good experience. It was freezingly cold and temp was not controllable through thermostat. They were unable to fix and ultimately had to turn it off and spent night without ac.

Check in was very fast and efficient.
Our room was clean and spacious.
The location is perfect for walking to Haram. There is a bus available frequently if you choose not to walk. For those with limited mobility Jabal Omar is a mountain range so there is a slight incline returning to the hotel. I loved the Adthan being streamed into the rooms. Despite the hotel being full the rooms were quite, great soundproofing.
Breakfast was good, buffet style with a good range of options. Staff friendly and very helpful. Had the evening buffet 1 night, great salad and pizza... but only 1 meat choice. No fish or chicken choices maybe the menu needs re-evaluating.
Cafe downstairs had a good selection of options for an evening meal. Quick service, good portion sizes and great value for money. I advise to share the rice portion it was really big.
We've stayed before and will definitely come back.

The hotel was great and the staff was great!

Excellent hotel with great facilities. The restaurant manager was extremely polite and helpful. Unfortunately we had to wait longer than 20 mins for reception to check in. Even when served, for any other query we had to wait in the queue which added to the overall time for full check in. Despite being told we had a late check in this didn’t happen and we had to again wait in reception for longer than 10 mins to get the key activated again.

The hotel was amazing , clean spacious , luxurious
The suite was spacious and the view was very nice
Restaurant was excellent, big variety of food and the service was great
The overall stay was exceptional and we enjoyed very much
However , I’d advice elderly residents to have companions because the constructions makes it a bit harder to reach the Haram they don’t let the shuttle to go inside , hopefully constructions will end soon

On the positive side excellent location and very nice surroundings. Helpful staff as a whole.
On the negative side my room was not cleaned up over the three nights I stayed there and because I had to check out before breakfast time the duty manager couldn’t arrange for me a cup of coffee before leaving (l already paid for breakfast)

It was amazing! The shuttle service to haram 24/7 was spot on, it was not noisy or very busy which was a plus. Looking forward to coming again!

Excellent, and would definitely stay there again, God willing.
They are working on improving the surrounding area even more, additional stairs and elevators are being built for more convenient access to the holy site.

It’s not very close to Haram but the hotel itself is nice. Parking wasn’t available and had to park in Idress Hotel.

Our room was 'upgraded' & when we entered our room it was nowhere near ready. Towels had hair, shower had hair, soap was used and dirty - it was even put in the box to make it seem as if its been replaced but tgey clearly do not check these things. The property transport was supposed have a minibus that drops us off to the elevators to go towards the Kaabah, but on the second day this stopped working and we had to used golf carts which were extremely busy as only a limited amount of people can get on. As well as this, the main reception was under construction which meant our daily entrance was the fire exit. This really was a put off as at the price we paid, we barely felt like we got anything back. It is not what I expected from a Hilton hotel and it honestly was upsetting as we only chose this hotel over competitors due to the brand name and pur previous good experiences with Hilton. Very disappointing visit.

The Hotel is very clean and nice, staff are friendly. The reasons I’m not giving five stars, because the room was missing towels and we had to ask the front desk for more. The other reason is the food there, as advertised it looked delicious, but when we got it, it had no taste or smell. It was also pre made food and not fresh and heated up as well.
Overall, we enjoyed our stay at Double tree.

The hotel was nice and the room was big. It was far from Harram approximately 700-900 meters one way so about 1.5km both ways (depending on where you are praying namaz) this made it exhausting going and coming back 5 times a day. They did not have shelters service to harram. Not around any stores/restaurants but seems like they are renovating to make a mall in the hotel which would be awesome.

The hotel is great. The only downside is that the hotel should have a shuttle to the Haram area. There is uphill you have to walk which is very difficult for many people. Hope the hotel management will consider this.
Thank you

I stayed in the presidential suite, and it was presidential in every sense of the word. Nice view, distinguished service. The staff from the reception all the way up are amazing. Highly recommended.

One of my favorite hotel and staff specially girls at front desk , very humble and polite and helpful .

If you want to stay in a nice hotel, this may be it. The lobby area and reception is grand and impressive. Customer service was good. Front desk were polite, smiling and helpful.
It's a bit of walk plus a steep hill to the masjid al haram (approx 7 minutes) so I wouldnt recommend it for the elderly or those with children. I was told there was a buggy service available but i never used it. We were allowed to take a short cut through the Hilton convention hotel/centre which was nice because of the a.c.
The room I booked was okay. A side view of the clock tower. Beds were too soft and not my thing- I kept feeling that ive sunk deep into the bed! Otherwise room was a satisfactory size and space. A mini fridge was provided with satchets of tea, coffee etc. I was a little disappointed that they didnt give the tiny capsules of milk- instead it was only coffee creamer :-/
I had the room cleaned a couple of times and although on first appearances it looked nice and tidy, I noticed that the toilet wasnt bleached/cleaned and the carpet wasnt vacuumed.
The buffet breakfast was reasonable. Some foods perhaps should be changed on the menu eg main dishes. Porridge needs improving (was watery and tasteless). I appreciated the egg omelette station and the tea provided. All staff were pleasant although it was annoying that the captain was also asking my room number when i had already checked in outside the restaurant.
Overall- I would rate it 4 out of 5.

This was an amazing experience booked the presidential suite because of the big family with a Haram view . It was wonderful. Staff was amazing also they gave us loads of fruit, nuts, sweets coffee as a gift . I would want to come back. Also we had to stay at the clock tower before and although it’s closer to the Haram but the time we wasted just inside the hotel trying to figure out with elevator was too much . This hotel is simple and have golf cart that takes you to the Haram

What makes a great stay is ofcourse the quality of the hotel which is good but if the staff is not friendly then it doesnt matter how good the hotel is, I would speacially like to name Ms Naba at the reception, She was just super , She made our stay comfortable and she is so friendly with always a smile on her face , Welldone Ms Naba and also the room service guy Mr Kausar he was absolutely fantastic and the rest of the people were also great, Good luck !
