The room was fine but the building we stayed in was dirty. The elevator was a bit scary and was past due since May 2024. Also we did not like the check in process. First we went to a building we thought we were staying in and were sent to a central building for checkin. Then given our keys to a 3rd building. What a hassle.

The fall foliage was beautiful in the area but the hotel is quite old but charming. The carpets are in dire need of replacement and the cleaning wasn't done properly in our room. We found used tissues on the side of the bed by the wall.

Beautiful location, wonderful staff. Rooms were wonderful - and front desk had a tea, coffee station with breakfast bars. Would recommend the hotel to offer some fresh fruit and croissants also included in room rate for guests who may not want a full breakfast from the restaurant. GREAT walking location to so many shops, pubs and restaurants. Would definitely return. Just lovely.

Very disappointed by the room, which was not by the lake but on the other side of the road. Definitely overpriced. Room was average, corridors stank.

Nice clean room with a great view of the lake, and great amenities. Big bathroom with nice glass enclosed shower, keurig coffee machine, refrigerator excellent balcony and large tv.

Always a peaceful and beautiful escape.

Beautiful place. Great environment. Worth to go back again

Absolutely nasty. Hair from previous stay all over the bathroom. Shower wouldn’t drain. Lobby bathroom mad the worste thing I’ve seen in a while.

Beautiful property with lots of different options. Park once and walk everywhere. We were seated first for breakfast one morning and 40 minutes later our breakfast still had not arrived. We ended up leaving without eating. Other than that our stay was great.

Check in and check out was very confusing

Pretty setting, walking distance to shops, restaurants and the lake. The key card didn’t work trying to get into the building, but called security and they arrived within minutes. Very responsive.

Beautiful place. The room was spacious and comfortable . We ate dinner at Camp restaurant located on site and It was fantastic . The food was great and it had a fun cozy atomosphere .
I wish we could have stayed longer !

Your description of the property is misleading. You should tell where pools, spa, and other areas are located. Fix on your website. When check in provide a map.
We enjoyed the MF at the Lake quiet, great view. Lago food and great but not romantic. Fix the floor on the porch
very slanted. The Grill was very good also. Employees were very helpful and courteous. Sharon Wells took us on a great boat ride and was very helpful.
Overall a nice experience.

Overall, room was adequate but incredibly underwhelming and overpriced. Visitors should be aware (we weren’t) that Mill Falls includes multiple locations and the included photos are all from the newest/nicest. When booking a “standard queen” that puts you in the Inn - a very dated building with little to no finishes. Our room was non-smoking but had clearly been smoked in - when we pointed this out the staff provided a discount. There was also no front desk staff on premise so you had to go down the road to check in or if you needed anything at all…

For the $ I paid for the room I was less than impressed . The shower curtain had mold and the outside curtain had stains not sure if it was blood or what . The bed was comfortable. Was told to check in at the building our room was in there was no one at the front desk we were directed to another building across the road to check in. I asked about AAA discount was told I was should’ve done that online when I purchased the room and when I told the receptionist helping us there was no spot to enter that info I was told there was nothing they could do about it . For a what looked nice building(s) was not impressed

We stayed in a beautiful room with a balcony and view of the lake. The property is beautifully maintained in this absolutely lovely location. We were able to eat dinner at Lago, which was equally wonderful. I would highly recommend this resort. The facilities were clean and very comfortable and the staff was very accommodating.

Check in was a real pain - instructions were not clear, and the check in desk was at least .3 miles away from the actual building - should have been a clear email instruction of where to report. All amenities were .3 miles away from our room; pool in our building was out of order. Way too few electrical sockets and strange extension cord running across floor. Also tiny desk jammed next to bed, no outlet, unusable without major furniture movement.

We arrived right at 4 for check in with plans to swim/ soak, grab dinner & head to our concert. However the room wasn’t ready. We weren’t into the room til after 445 which threw off the whole trajectory of our evening. And there were some questionably unclean spots in the room despite the wait. The area is gorgeous. And the narcotics sound nice. But we were not able to enjoy them this time

We paid extra for a balcony that was suppose to overlook the lake but overlooked the road and was not covered and exposed to the sun that became so hot we couldn't/didn't want to use it. The cheaper rooms had covered balconies that overlooked the lake. We felt scammed.

Very nice hotel. Rooms are definitely older with out-dated furniture but the bed was comfortable and we had hot water in the shower. You do have to check in at a different building than where we were staying. Resort is spread out across the main part of town. Was it worth $450/night? Probably not but we were there for a wedding and it was the only place in town to stay.

Deceptive advertising. The place is not what the picture shows.
2.0
Very disappointed with the experience. We stayed at the resort before, but the service has been declining more and more each year. Starting from check in to pool area and adult spa area the service leaves much to be desired. Hostesses were not very welcoming and friendly, spa area had no towels, and when we asked the front desk for some we were told they ran out and would not bring us any. Overall cleanliness of common areas was unsatisfactory as well. For the prices they charge per night, the service and accommodations are unfortunately no over worth it.

No body at the desk to find for help.
Poor Poor Service !!!!

This hotel is one of many that are owned by the same company. It is very convenient to everything in Meredith and all the comforts were above good. It is connected to the Marketplace shopping area and restaurants and a walk out the door is only steps away from the lake. Check-in was a bit odd since nobody was at the desk at this location and we had to drive down the street to another site to check -in and get keys and room assignments. Otherwise, the hotel was ideal.

Water for shower not hot. Carpet outside room needs replacing.

Nice place spread out great views from our deck at bay point to bad it was bike weekend on very busy corner .
as far as A resort have to say the 35 .00 a day was to much for what they offer the pools were small and they did not offer them to us when we arrived . Great locatin close to town and dinners for breakfast
2.5
It was excellent. Just need a mini fridge in room.

The service was terrible. Room was not ready at check in and it was very inconvenient. the front desk staff was not very helpful.

Quite possibly the worst check in experience and we travel a lot. Did early registration about 2pm and was told would get a call when room was ready. After not getting a call, at 415pm stood in line behind about 20 others. Some who had not early registered were getting rooms before us. Don’t blame service desk but something better needs to be done. Finally got a room assignment because wasn’t leaving before getting it even though we were late to a concert

The hotel we stayed in is very beautiful! The Lakehouse Grille was amazing! The staff was very nice! I would highly recommend staying at this place! That being said be prepared for an extremely unusual check in process. I made the reservation at Mill Fall at the Lake but am actually staying at Church Landing. This establishment has a few different locations/buildings and you can only check in at one building. There is no good signage with instructions anywhere. There was a small sandwich board outside the front door at the Mill Falls building stating to check in at Church Landing with no address or anything. Their poor staff at check in had to deal with every person in line being irritated because the whole set up is extremely confusing and frustrating. There has got to be a better way! That being said and now we know the drill we will definitely visit again!
