The hotel is very organized, has many daily activities, and the atmosphere is lively. We stayed in a private room, and we didn't like that we could hear noise from the neighboring rooms, and even noise late at night from people talking loudly at the reception. However, we liked the breakfast, the availability of towels, and the friendliness of the staff

Rooms in the new house part of the property are spacious and quiet. In the main building quite noisy.

Our room was very noisy and they moved us to a quiet room at no extra cost.

Amazing hostel - clean, friendly staff, and great location within the walled city.
Will stay again next time I'm in Cartagena!

I do not recommend this place at all. Rude staffs.

We stayed in a private room. The bathroom and shower are outside. There was a water problem but it maybe common in the area.

When I arrived, I stood in front of the Afro-Caribbean working the desk and he ignored me until a female checked me in. He was basically doing nothing. The main area where people smoke and party all night is right outside the dorms so forget about sleeping. Bathrooms are always disgusting. Had booked 7 days but stayed only 3 long days before going somewhere else.

The hostel is located near restaurants and historical points. The staff is super nice and helpful. They help me order a taxi. I loved the hammocks and the environment. Breakfast was really good (you have to pay extra). Common restroom were often clean during they day but the bathroom in my share room was not. Recommendation maybe having a mop in the room that it can be used after showers.
My room was next to the street and it was really noisy at night. The room had AC at night but during the day they turn it off and it gets super hot, having a fan during the day would be very helpful.

The staff was exceptional. They are staffed 24/7 and was able to provide excellent recommendations for any activity. You’ll especially enjoy the mango tree that drops mangos throughout the day and night. I ate 1-2 per day.

We showed up to the property and were told that our reservation through Expedia was never received or could not be seen. They were unable to help us any further, did not show any recourse, did not suggest or help us find another accommodation. Very concerned and disappointed about the experience

I don't really have anything bad to say. The hostel is very nice and secure. The hostel also secures your bags for you if you need (I needed for the day after I checked out). It is also a great place to meet other travelers if you are looking to make friends. All I did was talk to others in my dorm and make plans with them. The staff were really nice and friendly. Location is great - I went out every night and it was a short walk to the bar areas. It was great - I highly recommend.
