We were so happy with this hotel! Valet was so quick and great, front desk greeted us every time we walked in, hotel restaurant breakfast was great, and our room was huge and the bed was super comfortable! I would stay here again

I thought the guy at check in was very nice because he asked if I would take the room near elevator on 3rd floor. I told him that as long as it’s quiet. He assured me that is quiet place.
It turned out there was a high pitched noise at night that I could not sleep.
I was not sure whether he was meant to take advantage of me or what. But I had 3 nights hard to sleep.

The hotel is quite new and staff are nice. The location is very good in downtown Portland.

Great location, great hotel. All very clean and nice and modern.
Staff were very friendly and gave us great recommendations to see around town. Would stay again.

Really nice hotel, great stay! Close to many things on both sides of the bridge, quiet at night, and comfy room. Everything clean and staff attentive. Decent area downtown, pretty clean and safe around the hotel.

This was a very nice place to stay. Everything I needed was within walking distance. The staff were friendly, and I highly recommend breakfast at the restaurant. I’ll definitely stay here again.

Fantastic hotel, wonderful service, great location. The entire staff was very kind. The bed was comfortable, pillows of all kinds, and the shower was divine. I will definitely be back :)

nice room, felt like new w comfy beds. the service in the restaurant was slow and breakfast (ok the coffee) was horribly subpar for the price they charged. otherwise overall it’s a nice clean mid range hotel
2.5
The staff was friendly. They made my trip easy . They made it special I was able to get a corner room which was awesome
2.5
Great hotel with amazing service. The only downside is the air freshener smell in the lobby. I don’t know why hotels use that stuff. I know so many people who don’t like it.

It was amazing . All the staff were very kind ;)

Great modern hotel enhanced by very friendly and incredibly help staff.
It was a great base for exploring Portland and surrounding areas for a few days. The room was big and with great air con.
As everything was so good it was a slight surprise that there was a bit of inconsistency on room cleaning. At no point was this a problem and was almost irrelevant eg one day there was a bath mat and it was gone the next day and not replaced but a hand towel could be used instead
Would happily return anytime.

Conrad is an amazing hotel staff member I’ve ever experienced. Courteous, friendly, patient, accommodating and empathetic. I hope to run into more like him in my travels. He made my stay.

My boyfriend and I had an issue with our initial room. There was confusion on the resolution, but the manager stepped in and resolved it with an above and beyond customer service approach. She was outstanding. Her staff was very friendly and helpful. We were visiting a friend for my birthday weekend. I would definitely recommend here if you’re visiting the area!

There was a large homeless population all around the area of the hotel. It made us apprehensive to venture out in the evenings.

Great property enjoyed it. Everybody was courteous.

It is a clean and convenient place. Breakfast was delicious. The hotel's parking was expensive ($45/night), so we didn't park there and found nearby parking for $8/night.

Reasonably priced. It was very clean and was in a great location to explore downtown. Valet parking is pricey but we were able to find street parking to avoid $55 a night. Would recommend and return again

The hotel is well maintained and looks like fairly new construction. The rooms are nicely accommodated with subtle but thoughtful appointments such as heavy curtains which can cut off the sleeping area from the bathroom area (it helps block out light from under the door and nightlight in the bathroom). There were lights under the bed that turned on if you got up at night which were nice to help see without turning on the table lamp. The sink area lighting was a little dark if you have to shave with a regular razor. Housekeeping was very late on the third day, so my room was never made up. On my second day when the rooom was made up, the coffee bar was not refreshed and no washcloth was left. The room has a finished concrete floor which shows that it needed to be vacuumed (dust very visible under the TV console). The restaurant was very good. I had dinner and two breakfasts there and the staff and food were very good. The location is great if you like to walk (I
walked to the art museum, Oregon Historical Society Museum, Washington Park, and several local eateries). The fitness room was rudimentary, lots of cardio machines. There weren’t enough mats (only two) for users to stretch on. Overall I would stay there again.

I flew up to Portland for a quick turnaround trip to see a concert. I booked the Hyatt Centric because it was the best deal in the Pearl District but I was blown away by the property and service. The rooms were very hip with an industrial vibe, well appointed and clean. The Front Desk Supervisor Clayton makes this property feel like a luxury 5-star hotel. He personalized my stay by remembering and using my name during my entire visit. He also shared helpful local area info and history that enriched my experience. I was able to walk to the waterfront, shopping and fantastic dining options right from the hotel. The Hyatt also had a fantastic bar and restaurant right on site called Covet I believe. I had a great dinner with Erin and breakfast the next morning with Sam. Both ladies made me feel welcomed and the food was delicious. All in all, 5 stars from me and I'll be back if I ever head to Portland in the future. Thank you!

The property management was not sufficient. Cleaning was not done timely even when requested. Limited dining. Room was very small and limited. Needs to improve a lot to be a 5 star hotel.

But still waiting on my deposit.

I forgot my tablet in the room when checking out. I have called several times to get it back and have just been given the runaround that they would get back to me. Nobody has gotten back to me. I would expect this from a motel 6 and not a Hyatt. So if you stay here secure your valuables and if you forget something, know that it will be stolen by the staff within a day and they will just give you the runaround when you try to get it back.

Great place to stay in Portland. Clean and nice room, good gym, great staff and many good restaurants near by in walking distance. Valet parking list price is a bit high, but look for hotel deal including valet for good value. Bed comfort and totally quiet air condition especially well above average.
