Brilliant charming little quiet place thats close to all the action you need. Gentle staff.

Really charming place. Family run (but not overbearing), REALLY close to the centre but totally silent on that particular street (even on a sat night). Shared bathrooms were VERY clean and had its own sink in the bedroom. Staff went above and beyond to be of assistance - even though being musicians, we were possibly the last thing they wanted through their doors. Even let me use his garage! Really affordable for a stay in Aberdeen and quite charming.

Not sure if its accessible for wheelchairs etc - but thats not a criticism per say, thats the building!

La posizione, il wifi disponibile, vano doccia ampio, bollitore per le tisane a disposizione, host gentile e accogliente..

Camera eccessivamente piccola, non era possibile muoversi in due perché erano poco funzionali gli arredi utilizzati. Questa camera, per poterla utilizzare in due avrebbe bisogno di essere rinnovata con arredi poco ingombranti, esempio togliere il tavolo/cassettiera (poco sfruttabile perché a ridosso del fondo del letto) e inserire appendiabiti a muro e tavolino pieghevole a muro, il letto è piuttosto usurato. Ambiente molto umido per tutto il tempo abbiamo avuto la finestra con gocce di acqua al vetro interno. Nel bagno il termosifone non funzionava.

Very friendly, great location, small car park which we got to use which was great, we would stay again

Very firm mattress, which appears to be the norm these days, probably hard wearing, good for back sleepers, but not great if you are a side sleeper, personal opinion, wouldn't not choose because of this though

My requirements for accomodation are not great. Despite mentions above, I’d stay again. 🙂

Location is great, very close to Train Station ( once you learn the 5 minute walking route up one level via lift,across the indoor bridge to Station multi storey car park exit, cross with lights & walk the short 2 block lengths to the RCGH). Comfortable bed & quiet location after dark. Proprietor Scott pleasant & helpful. No breakfast provided & no access to kitchen use but plenty of alternative cafe/bakery/take away options nearby.

Ask Scott to show you how to control water flow & temperature on the Ensuite shower. Nice new, clean, & roomy but was the only shower “tap” ( out of 10 accomodations) that confused me in its operation. Result of which I had one cold, one hot & took 3rd day’s shower in the “Share Shower Room”. 😝 TV would not turn on, possibly due to battery replacement required in RC? Not a big deal as I don’t watch much TV travelling but good to catch up with News TV sometimes.

Very nice guest house - to recommend

Location was pretty good, next to the railway station. The owner was very friendly, the bed and room are very cumfortable, and the bathroom very clean.

The price is a bit high, but the lowest I foud in town for a similar room.

There were a lot of steps from the bus station so while it was close by it was hard with a blind companion

It was sparse but probably is considered good value in UK terms - we don't travel much in such accommodation to be able to compare

Scott and Clare were so welcoming! The guest house is in a great location - just a short walk from the train station and close to restaurants, museums, and shops. Our room was clean and the en suite bathroom was very nice. If you're visiting Aberdeen and need a place to stay, look no further!

Ok value for money.

Close to the center, friendly and helpful owner.

Issue with parking, as there are just 2 parking spaces. We went for dinner by car to the south of Aberdeen with our friends and when came back our original parking spot was already occupied by other guests from the Crown Guest House. Then we had a lot of struggle to find street parking close to our accomodation.

A perfect stay

Great location, private parking, own bathroom - total value for money. This lovely guest house was able to accommodate us at short notice and we had a terrific stay. The owner was so friendly and helpful. A home from home - hope to visit again.

Superb

The location is very convenient and the surrounding environment is quiet. I like the collocation and arrangement of the room very much. The red plaid quilt cover and red curtain bring comfortable visual enjoyment. Like the staff very much, very warm and warm service, let me have a kind of home or guest feeling. The staff would ask me in advance when I checked in. Although I could only check in at 2 PM, I could also deposit my luggage in advance. The next morning they warmed the meal I had packed the day before and asked me carefully if I needed a fork and water. It was a wonderful journey.

The ventilation may be noticeable, with the damp smell of a confined space upon entry, but it's much better with the windows open. In addition, the hot water at night was not warm enough maybe because it was too late. It was about 10 o 'clock, but it was a little late for fear of disturbing the rest of the staff. But the hot water was normal the next morning.

Great location, very nice staff. Room was very clean. Good hot shower.

Noise. I was unlucky and had very noisy and inconsiderate neighbours around me making noise until nearly 6am. Walls were kind of thin. You hear the traffic too. Bring earplugs.
