Nice hotel, but service and overall experience is so lacking it’s pathetic. No hot water in the shower despite letting water run for 20 mins - environment impact is disappointing. Front desk and waiter at the restaurant were more concerned about getting me out the door than on the experience.

We had a disappointing experience at this hotel for our 23rd Anniversary. Parking options provided by the hotel were limited and expensive: $2/hour for self-parking or $37 for valet. We later discovered nearby parking garages that charge only $1/hour (capped at $11/day) and are free on Sundays and federal holidays. After parking in the garage suggested by the hotel staff, we were told there was no elevator, so we had to navigate eight flights of stairs. However, upon further exploration, we found an elevator away from the stairwell. Our room was clean and comfortable but had a view of an urban courtyard dominated by a brick wall with a mural of a Peregrine falcon. Dining at the hotel restaurant was disappointing. Dinner included an overly salty hamburger, and breakfast for two cost about $72 for basic scrambled eggs (unseasoned), pancakes, French toast, and coffee brewed in what seemed to be an unclean pot. Service was poor—we were forgotten, and simple requests, like ketchup for eggs, were overlooked until after the meal was finished. Overall, while the rooms were nice, the high prices, poor service, and lack of convenience make this hotel a poor value. There are better options closer to the Old Market area at a similar price point.

The Peregrine is a lovely old hotel with the benefits of modern comfort and technology. Nice rooftop bar, solid restaurant (other options nearby as well), this hotel can be a good base for business or a vacation visit. The staff was friendly and helpful. Downtown Omaha is walkable with many restaurants and small shops. I chose to rent a bike (very easy with the public app-based system) and ride out along the Lewis and Clark trail. Many bike paths and routes.

We loved our stay at The Peregrine in downtown Omaha! The hotel is conveniently located by lots of fun stores, restaurants, and nightlife. The area felt very safe and my family walked all around and found plenty to see and do. The hotel itself is gorgeous and the cleanest I have ever stayed in. Stylish lobby, modern rooms with beautiful fixtures, comfy bed and super soft sheets. It also boasts a roof top bar, bar and dining in lobby, and very friendly, helpful staff. I will be sure to stay here again when in Omaha. Extremely impressed!!!!

The staff was nice. The room was very filthy looked like someone just come in and cleaned and made the bed only otherwise there were stains on the windows walls floors, hair in the bathroom in the tub, not the best place I’ve stayed and I don’t have to stay again. For the money it wasn’t as cut as I thought it would be and there was no refrigerator or microwave which is my fault for over looking that. But the rest..

We travel a lot and stay at many different types of hotels. This one has made the top of our list! Great hotel!! Room was quiet and comfy, allowing us to decompress and relax after long busy days. Staff is top notch! Everyone from check in staff, restaraunt and bar staff, security staff to valet is very friendly and helpful! Love the location of this hotel. There's a lot to see within walking distance. Highly recommend this hotel!

The hotel is beautifully decorated and in wonderful condition. We had difficulties with lack of hot water throughout our stay, which made showers really uncomfortable. We also weren’t made aware that we could have had a microwave brought up to our room until our third day of using the community microwave for every meal next to the front desk. We were only given one bath towel and only had the one roll of toilet paper in our room, though housekeeping had come into the room while we were gone (without our knowledge—a sign in the room’s bathroom states they are only supposed to go in if we request it, and we hadn’t). Little things that could have been helped had there been better communication, etc. Overall, very nice hotel—just little things that would have made the stay better.

No connecting garage to building. TV in room does not have apps, only thing it has is Direct TV. Towels were dirty, missing towel sets-had to request, looks like didn’t replace the towels after for new guests-was missing floor towels. Shower door handle was broken. Counters in room was dusty. No microwave or fridge. Chose the hotel because of rooftop bar, but bar wasn’t even open, they said due to it was sprinkling here and there, even though it was a covered rooftop bar. Listed as have restaurant, but no real restaurant have to order from lobby bar. Paid $20 for breakfast when booking, but when went to get breakfast, they said you have to order from the bar and they will credit the difference at checkout, when check out,the breakfast was $46 and wanted to charge us for full price, no credit, no buffet breakfast. WiFi wasn’t working. Room thermostat does not work or they have it set and locked at 68 degrees, so was freezing the whole night. Body wash in the shower was empty, had to request and they gave us a small little one, whole different brand, didn’t even refill the one in the shower.

I had a cold shower two days in a row, even after mentioning to the staff it was a problem. My room felt like it hadn't been attended to before I arrived--the shampoo was just sort of tossed into the shower, and there was only shampoo and lotion. Day two I had facial wipes, q-tips, shampoo and other items so I began to wonder about whether the room was actual clean to begin with. Additionally, staff lacked friendliness both on the phone and in person. And when I asked about a safe place to run, I was told "It isn't safe to run anywhere here in the dark." I won't be staying again.

Beautiful hotel, but a lot lacking in terms of what you would expect for the price point. None of the TVs were working in the building, which was supposedly related to a storm. Stayed Friday through Sunday, thought it would have been fixed at some point during my stay. There was absolutely no water pressure in bathroom sink, just a trickle, also had to request hand soap from front desk. They said it was just an old building with old plumbing. We received two drink vouchers. For a dog friendly hotel, would have thought they'd offer dog poo baggies or at least sell them in the sundry area in case a guest forgot theirs. Shower took a long time to get warm, never quite got hot enough for me. Front desk often unattended or just one person there, but one the phone while guests stood in a line. Restaurant had very slow service and my mother received muffins that were still frozen in the middle. Also, why would guests be charged for coffee when there is free coffee in the lobby, is it any different? I doubt it. Bed was comfortable and the hotel was stylish, but seemed short staffed/poorly managed. Would not recommend.
