Loved it. Great location, close to Cathedral. Friendly staff, lovely old building with an interesting history. Only comment is that the couch could have been a bit more comfortable.

We loved the location of the hotel. It was within easy access to the city & also the tram line. The apartment was spacious & very comfortable. We bought our own breakfast items from the Monoprix, located 2 minutes from the hotel. The staff were fabulous & very helpful. I would highly recommend staying here & if we were to return, we would book again. Hopefully in the same room as we didn’t have to climb the stairs. We weren’t keen on the smoking area, which was near our room, but there are a lot of smokers in France! Thank you.
4.7
Central location, but parking difficult and expensive. Bed was not comfortable, everything else was very nice and clean.

Rooms photographed better than they were in real life. Kind of grungy. Tight access to cabinets made them almost useless. One of the worst shower drains I've had in Europe and that took trying. Even the cleaning staff clearly had trouble with it s they kept putting it back on wrong. No safe.
Staff were great. Location was good.

Neat place

Great location, very nice room and brilliant staff :-)

Centrally located near tram lines. Close to restaurants and other amenities. Beautiful cathedral nearby and charming courtyard at hotel.

Very hearty service. Very convenient communication to the vicinity.

Great staff! Smaller than expected. No elevator.

Great location
Very nice setting
Very good breakfast
Friendly staff
Room ok
BUT... one staff made a long ans loud phone call or talked to a colleague outside in the courtyard when taking his shift at 6.45 am, which must have woken up everyone in the surrounding rooms. Very disapointing.
4.7
Quirky spacious hotel, the room had all facilities you could need. The superking bed was very comfortable and the wifi was excellent.
4.7
Really nice property, clean hotel in a great location
4.7
The rooms were spacious, the courtyard was delightful & the front desk people were so helpful with anything needed. The area is lovely & convenient to everything.
4.7
This hôtel is clean and quiet. It is centrally located near the old Bordeaux. It is at close proximity of stores, restaurants, attractions and near the tram. Would return anytime.
4.7
This hotel was lovely. It felt very safe, it was clean, and the room was very comfortable. The property was a bit of mystery since it is behind a large, secured door, but once we checked in and got our keys, we had no issues. There was a lovely outdoor courtyard in the middle of the building, and it was nice to be able to open our room's windows for the fresh air.

This is a cute little hotel right in the heart of old Bordeaux and is easy to get to and from on the tram system. My room was a quirky little thing right off the stairs going up to the first floor (not at the top of the stairs, off the side of the stairs - I said quirky!) It was a smallish room, but on par for the price point in a wonderful European city, and completely fine for a solo traveller. It had two sets of large windows, from which you could hear the faint riffs of jazz from the courtyard below, a little seat and desk and a compact but modern bathroom. The room was quiet and I slept well so I'd say this was good value for money right in the heart of everything.

Excellent location, spacious rooms and very helpful receptionists
4.7
My objection was not the property but the fact that when I arrived I had no room reserved because my reservation had not been confirmed by direct communication with the hotel. I assumed the reservation on Expedia was sufficient. The hotel had a record of my reservation but had not reserved the room. Be sure to call or email the hotel to confirm. Other that that disaster, they seemed nice and it was a good location.

Really loved this hotel. So unique. The room was very spacious and the beds were comfortable. You feel like you have your own flat in Bordeaux. It couldn't be more central and easily accessible to a lovely square, cathedral, and shops. Everyone on the staff were incredibly kind and helpful. We had everything we needed and they were very understanding when we arrived later than expected. The breakfast was delicious and so thoughtfully done, I recommend paying a little extra for it. Parking was difficult to figure out because we arrived late, which isn't a fault of the hotel at all, but this city is quite hard to drive in if you're not familiar, so I recommend asking about it ahead of time if you plan to have a car. One of the nicest hotels we've been at overall! Hope to return.

No lift…. Disappointment for our luggage. Staff very helpful.

Amazing hotel. Perfect. Great, central location, close to tram hub. Beautiful accommodation. Friendly, helpful staff. The hotel accommodated my late arrival and also allowed me to leave my backpack with them while I wandered around Bordeaux after checking out on my last day. Highly recommend. Would definitely stay here again.

The hotel is a lovely quiet courtyard, in a quiet but elegant street in central Bordeaux, 5 minutes walk from the city centre and a perfect base to explore. Staff were friendly and efficient, and the room was spacious, clean with a lovely viee into the internal courtyard. The hotel was great value for money and I would absolutely stay there again.

Walkable.
Have no elevator

Loved the location. Very friendly.
4.7
The family room was well appointed but perhaps a bit dated. The front desk could be more service oriented…when we arrived no one answered our calls on the buzzer, we were let in by housekeeping!
4.7
Lovely large well proportioned room close to many central attractions and easy access to the tram network.
Helpful friendly staff.
We will definitely stay again.
4.7
It was one of the best places we have ever stayed. Cute courtyard, spacious room, and well-furnished with a kitchenette. A lot of dining and bar options in a few minutes away. Walkable to everything. Will stay again when we come back to Bordeaux.

We had a fantastic stay at L' Apparthôtel Particulier. The receptionist was very friendly and most helpful in guiding us as to where to visit etc. Our room was large, warm and very comfortable and cleaned daily. There was also a kitchenette attached with fridge, grill microwave and hob with all necessary utensils, pots & pans. The hotel is very central and only a short walk to the tram stop. Overall very happy and would definitely book again on our next visit to Bordeaux.

Would stay again!

This hotel is beautiful!! The gardens inside are so special, and the location is extremely central, right in front of the cathedral and shopping center. The bathroom and shower were wonderful, and even the single room wasn’t too small at all. I thoroughly enjoyed my stay here and would love to come back. I highly recommend.

Everything was excellent

We loved our stay at this property for three nights. It had character and was perfectly located for walking around the historic centre of Bordeaux. There were many food options just minutes walk away from the property. The staff were very helpful and friendly. I would recommend this property.

Very comfortable.
Continental breakfast to the room not very consistent or particularly good.
Staff very friendly, helpful.
Bed was comfy…very important.

This is a wonderful French Hotel with VERY accommodating staff. It is located around the corner from the Cathedral with plenty of dining and shopping nearby. Rooms are well appointed and some have a complete kitchen. Breakfast buffet onsite was excellent and well worth the 15 euros. There is a cozy courtyard inside to lounge the day away with covered seating in case of rain. I would stay here again!!
4.7
This a small hotel with lots of character.
An excellent location just steps from the cathedral.
Staff was very helpful.
Not great for parking but very good for walking.
4.7
Great little spot on the edge of the old town.
Tramline ‘B’ right outside the door should you need it, we walked pretty much everywhere except the day when we went to the Cite Du Vin on the tram.
Classic French property with very friendly staff. We arrived early for check in expecting to drop our bags and head out for a walk but were told by Julie, who checked us in, that our room was ready and we could check in, which was very welcome after a long days travel from Western Canada via CDG, Paris and a TGV.
Would stay again for sure.

Excellent staff and location! Beautiful property, perfectly outfitted.

Booked for one night en route further South. Reception staff were super friendly and helpful. The hotel is beautifully presented with original staircases and marble fireplaces in the rooms. Walk straight out into the pedestrian centre of Bordeaux by the Cathedral. Reception staff showed us a few places to visit and have restaurant suggestions. Would stay again.
