Disappointing, staff are robotic, bed was uncomfortable, bathroom was the smallest ive ever encountered, no complimentary water in the room. Breakfast was fully booked until 10am. I normally wouldnt moan but I paid just over £400 for one night so was expecting a bit more from this hotel.
4.0
Confusing parking situation with the hotel having just a very small car park which is hard to find. It was also full so had to park about a 8 minute walk away.
Original room was really nice, well appointed but the heating didn’t work and it was freezing. I was quickly and efficiently moved to another room, smaller than the first but equally comfortable.
The view was poor, you are just about eye level with the street and people and cars go past at all hours which can be a little noisy but didn’t impact me too much. Great location and decent value for money.

When we arrived, lack of parking is an issue we checked into room 103, the heating did not work and oil heaters was provided in our bedroom which took a day to warm up. Was given option to change rooms but same problem there also. Positive side breakfast was very good.

On arrival I was irritated to be told that parking was not available on that day and directed to a public car park. When we checked in there was a computer glitch and we were offered a complimentary glass of prosecco. We had a superior boutique room which we really loved. It was spacious, beautifully decorated and had both a bath and shower. Breakfast was good, lots of choice. I felt that the hotel put a lot of emphasis on customer service as was shown during the check in process and the breakfast member of staff was very pleasant.

Beautiful hotel with great staff

Georgian house which has been converted in a stylish fashion. All good. Good location for the town and all that is interesting about Bath.

Unfortunately, I found my stay at this hotel to be quite noisy. The loud music from the bar and, the sound from the room above made it impossible to relax. Additionally, the bathroom was not as clean as I expected. Overall, my experience was disappointing.

This hotel is so lovely! The staff can’t do enough to help you. Everything is kept immaculate and pristine. I will be back
Massive shout out to the staff here. So friendly and accommodating

Originally booked traditional cosy room which is best suited for children as very small. Staff changed us to bigger room in main part of hotel thankfully.

Check-in was a little confusing, as the reception was located further down the road and not via an entrance that we first approached.
The decor in the room and hallways of the hotel gave it a luxurious feel and the breakfast was fantastic. Staff were very friendly and they kindly stored our luggage the following day.
The room itself was rather small and the fridge did not appear to be working, despite being switched on. The multiple lightswitches were difficult to navigate and there was no wardrobe space.

Staff were extremely helpful and efficient.
Room was comfortable and quiet. Shower surround disappointing with mould growing down the side

This property was in easy walking distance to all the major attractions, shopping and restaurants. Our room was extremely small by any standards and very dark. I noticed that 5 of the 6 bulbs in the overhead light were not working so...The breakfast was very good and cooked from a variety of choices on the menu! For location and breakfast it's a 5 star.

Great cafe and the neighborhood has great food and drink.

Beautiful building. Close to town . We booked a ‘cosy boutique’ room, so expected small. The bedroom was as expected, but the bathroom area was ridiculously small. Luckily we are reasonably slim, but still could barely sit on the toilet without being very uncomfortable. The shower once you were in it was fine but again getting in it was a challenge. Toilet seat was broken ( probably from people trying to squeeze themselves into it). Not worth £165. Walls paper thin so very noisy. Another greedy hotel trying to make two rooms out of one. Wouldn’t return because of this.

Quite expensive for a basic breakfast (no breakfast buffet without pre order and mini bar empty !!)
Booked for a superior boutique room - but had 2 single beds pushed together which were slightly different heights !!!!!!)
Staff attentive - and a glass of Prosecco on arrival for our pre booked anniversary ..but requested an ice bucket and glasses which never materialised.

Found the hotel very disappointing for the money we paid. Taps in the bathroom not fixed and span when you tried turning them on. Stains on the rug and bathroom towels with big holes in. On the plus side the breakfast was good.

The gentleman at reception was far from helpful, when checking in he pointed through the restaurant to tell us our room was through there. No offer to help with luggage or facilities. When asked if we could park in the onsite carpark we were just told there was no space and to go to podium (no instructions where it was or how to get there).
The hotel and room itself was nice but the room was unbearably cold, myself and my husband both had to wear jumpers to bed. The duvet was so thin which did not help. The plug didn’t work in bathroom. At 1am all we could hear was people above us stomping around and going up and down stairs, so much so the chandelier in the room was swinging. We were unable to have the lie in we needed due to being freezing so we checked out earlier than wanted. When we checked out the same gentleman with no hospitality skills was on the reception desk of which the only thing he said was “nothing left to pay”. Didn’t ask how our stay was etc.
All in all we were terribly underwhelmed with our ‘superior boutique room’ stay, it was completely below any expectations and would receive better customer service from staff at a travelodge.

Excellent friendly welcome by receptionist. Wonderfully large and airy bedroom. Delicious breakfast served by polite professionals.

The only reason it got a 3 on eco is coz I don’t really know what they for that but this place is so lovely. In the middle of a really neat Bath street surrounded by like historical buildings. Very limited parking so o took the train. Would recommend it off you can. It’s .5 miles from the rail road station and the walk is lovely in the day. This isn’t your square boxy new hotel. This hotel has character as it’s in an old building. Elevator odds pretty slow but I took the stairs anyway. Friendly staff and a great breakfast. Breakfast is £16 of it’s not included with your room through your booking agent. Surrounded by lovely restaurants (I think Bath is the restaurant capital of England) and not far from down town. People are generally friendly and needless to say, the Roman baths (£21.50 for an adult entry. Bit pricey I reckon) but worth seeing nonetheless. Enjoyable area and a clean and comfy hotel.

Great location with welcoming team at the hotel

I did arrive on a cold evening with temperatures outside, just above freezing.
Arrived in my room, and there was no heater on and just a small electric radiator for a room with high ceilings. Once this hotel had taken the booking they should’ve put the heaters on. I’ve just woken up in the morning. The temperature inside the room is still only 14°. When I arrive last night I would say it was more like five or 6°.
Also, breakfast doesn’t start till 8 am on Saturday morning which is a shame because I paid extra I need to leave at 7:30 am.

Fantastic little gem of a hotel in a great location for all the local attractions. The staff were all superb and extremely high standard of customer service. A special call out to the chef and breakfast staff who went the extra mile to help out with an early breakfast.

An easy walk into the center of Bath but a quiet neighborhood. Comfortable room.
Very small bathroom.

Nice little hotel. Reception and bar service was ok. Bedroom was comfortable but the shower room was absolutely tiny and no way the room would be suitable for 2 people.
As with most of Bath, parking was challenging and I ended up parked 10 minutes walk from the hotel.

Loved the hotel. Conveniently situated for central Bath. Spotlessly clean. Helpful staff.

This hotel/BB was over priced. Nice enough room. Front of house customer service wasn’t great. Breakfast and servers were excellent.
Also never responded to my question about parking.

Lovely hotel, stylish decor, very clean, well managed , excellent breakfast friendly helpful staff. Great position, in the heart of the city -
There were no hand rails or none slip surface in the shower, which compromised our sense of safety.
But this is only negative comment!!

It was a small room but had everything you’d need for a one night stay.

Hotel upgraded my room which was very nice. Hotel was clean and well furnished in style and walking distance from the center.
Staff at the hotel was very friendly and helpful.
Only bed wad little hard for my back but everyone has different preferences.
Only disadvantage is for people with diet restrictions. All food hotel serves is basically fright pub food and all contains gluten. There is not even sallad on the menu. I would recommend a hotel to re-consider the menu.

We had a cosy room which in other words means small! No room for anything apart from shuffling round the bed!
Lacking in a mirror in the bedroom so had to use phone to do hair as no socket near the bathroom!
No parking available and cost 5.10 for 3 hours outside at a time!
Reception not most helpful when it came to parking so we just winged it and luckily didn’t get a ticket!

We had a room in the annex which was quite run down. We asked for 2 single beds but got a double instead, which was tightly squeezed against the wall and difficult to get into. The toilet was dirty and hadn't been properly cleaned for ages. On the second day the room was not serviced, so bed unmade, bins not emptied etc. There was also something wrong with the fridge (which we didn't use) as the outside top of it got very hot and there seemed no way of turning it off. On the plus side there was a lift and the breakfast in the main building was very good.

I booked the Queen room and this was literally the smallest room I have ever stayed in. There is no wardrobe just hangers on the wall and i literally had to side step into the shower as the opening was no more than 16inches wide. The bed was very comfortable and I slept well until the sun came up as the slats do not work properly.
Staff were friendly but just seem disorganised.
Breakfast is off a menu which is fine but just means you need to wait a while for coffee and then food. Its a shame as a great location with only a 5-10 minute walk into the centre of bath.
I found parking on the street easily and only had to pay for the first two hours as no charge between 18.00 - 08.00.
