Great base for seeing Munich

This is an excellent hotel that is well located. The room and amenities were top notch. There is even a legit cocktail bar in the room complete with all the cocktail making accoutrements you would need. We will definitely be staying here on our next visit to Munich!

Besides the central location of the property, the bed mattress is uncomfortable. The pillows thin as paper. You get a great bar and a good shower. Wanted to upgrade my room/upsell as soon as I arrived. $400/night is a stretch. The pictures do not do it justice. Because you need to book the penthouse to appreciate the views they post. Disappointing.

This was one of my best experiences in Munich! The staff was exceptionally professional and focued on all details... even the ones you at first didn't notice. The staff isn't just focused on hospitality, it is bread into the foundation.
The rooms are immaculate, with views out every window.

Great hotel

It’s a very small hotel on a side street, hard to access by car (cars aren’t allowed in the area) so in order to get to the hotel you have to call and wait until a staff member comes to let the taxi near the hotel.it has a good restaurant and a football store. We booked a suite (nice size but nothing to write about) however the view was to a construction site!!!!, which was very disappointing l! To look a a crane and rumbles. So the next night we moved to a room - it was a plain hotel room. View to a wall. Nothing amazing about this hotel, other than a short walk to Marie platz and the shopping street

The best hotel of our journey through different cities in Germany for the Euro cup. Family trip of couple of weeks but our three days stay in Munich were great in this hotel. Staff was very helpful and friendly and they even spoke to us in Spanish once they noticed that it was our original language. It was also very clean always and restaurants are among the best in the city. On top of that there's an adidas store downstairs that lured us every day to come in for shopping. Long story short, this trip was great and this hotel was the berry of the cake. We hope to be back soon.

Nice boutique hotel - no on site amenities, felt price was too high for the level of service received (amd no amenities). Cute room with great mini bar and nice shower and toiletries. Great for walking all over Munich. Restaurant options lacked German fare, which I was hoping for.

It’s very nice to walking around old town

This is an elegant small hotel in the center of the Old City. It seems as if everything of interest is walk-able, and public transportation is minutes away if necessary. Mostly the hotel is beautiful and well appointed, great bed, great bathroom. The two restaurants are superb. And the staff is wonderfully friendly and helpful. Highly recommended.

Great location, service, and experience overall. Would definitely return.

We stayed for my husband’s 30th birthday last week. This was one of the most luxurious stays I’ve experienced.
The staff/service - Absolutely amazing. Our train arrived very early in the morning (long before our check in time at 3PM) and they were SO accommodating. We were greeted with a cold beverage and they allowed us to drop of all of our luggage to be stored safely so we could kill time without lugging it around town. They also got our room ready as fast as they could, hours before check in, and gave me a call to let me know we could head to our room early where our luggage would be waiting for us. We were shown to our room and given a brief tour of everything. Every single staff interaction was kind, and helpful, and I kept telling my husband that the service was so wonderful I felt like if I dropped something I member of the hotel staff would appear and catch it before it hit the floor. They even sent a bottle of champagne and the most wonderful hand written note up to the room while we were out to wish my husband a happy birthday.
The room - The room was INCREDIBLE. We stayed in a Junior Suite and everything was spotless and luxurious. From the large fluffy towels, to the soft and comfortable bed, to the shower, to the unbelievable personal bar, it was the most amazing way to end a long and exhausting trip.
Location - Perfect. Could not be any more convenient.
DO & CO Restaurant - This deserves its own review entirely and I will be leaving one. AMAZING.

The staff was very friendly and helpful. They helped me recover a passport that I left in the taxi while transferring from their hotel to another property. This exemplified their ability to go the extra mile. It was much appreciated.

We had a great time at this hotel. The hotel staff was very kind. The accommodations were extremely nice, and it was centrally located in town. Easy to get to.

We had a great stay at DO & CO. Not only was the location was ideal, but the room was clean and well stocked, and all staff was friendly and helpful. We will look forward to staying here again next time we’re in Munich.

Hotel and staff were top notch.
We needed extra help driving to the place by car, so make sure to just call the hotel and they will guide you (it’s in a pedestrian zone!). Mini bar well stocked, motorized shades were lovely, room was gorgeous and well appointed. Very quiet except at night when some drunk people would sing outside…
Would have appreciated 2 extra towels for long hair, and also more, and more conveniently located outlets. They had a huge minibar, but we needed more places to plug in our things and less booze ;)
In all, excellent off-season stay in a stunningly gorgeous hotel that was in a top location near everything!

This hotel is really great! People are super friendly and helpful. The location of the hotel is perfect, right in the center of the city.

Fantastic hotel. The location was excellent, the service was excellent and the food (particularly the breakfast) was amazing. We really enjoyed our time there. I can see why it is in Germany’s top 100 hotels!

The DO & CO lived up to all of its excellent reviews. My partner and I loved this place. It was centrally located in the heart of Old Towne Munich. The staff was extremely friendly and helpful. They were good about providing restaurant suggestions and identifying "must see" spots in the city. When we got to our room, we found a personalized welcome note from the staff; a very nice touch. The room was on the top floor and was spacious, clean, and with a modern layout and furnishings. We didn't try the hotel restaurant, but it was jampacked every night. My only minor criticism of our accommodation was that the pillows were too soft and offered no support. However, when we requested additional pillows, the staff was extremely responsive. I highly recommend the DO & CO, and we would definitely stay there again.

Our room was AMAZING! One of the most beautiful rooms we have ever stayed in. The staff was truly amazing (especially the gentleman at the check in des, I wish I'd have gotten his name)!

This property is in a great location but is VERY loud. There is construction at and below the building. It is a 3 YEAR project so keep in mind the noise isn't going away any time soon. We understand it's Munich and beer halls and late nights but the nightlife noise was also incredibly loud. You know if they leave earplugs on the end table it's an issue.

This is my first time at this hotel in Munich, usually I am staying at the four seasons. This time I took this hotel.
I find it very welcoming, the tuff was super friendly and help with everything.
Device at the restaurant was very good. Very good breakfast. Room is very clean and modern. I will come again for sure

DO & CO exceeded expectations and my expectations are high! We had a corner room with views from two sides of the hotel. We had a beautiful view of the cathedral and also a city view. There were 5 huge arched windows looking out that made me almost not want to leave the room! Stunning room! The staff surprised my husband for his birthday with balloons on the bed, champagne and a lovely dessert. We also had a nice, handwritten note upon arrival. This hotel is in the heart of the center of Munich with tons of shopping and good food nearby. The city vibes were amazing, although the hotel is situated such that we did not hear noise and there were no crowds right outside of our hotel. I highly, highly recommend this hotel and hope to return myself again!

Brand-new hotel located in the heart of old-town Munich in walkable distance to both Marienplatz, and shopping areas, as well as a variety of restaurants, and bars nearby. The hotel itself presents a modern design with friendly staff that assist at any matter.

The room quality is undoubtedly superior. I've never seen a hotel "mini-bar" selection like it, absolutely wonderful. The bathroom and shower was fantastic. The hotel location is perfect. They are trying really hard.
But I didn't like it, I'm so sorry to report. Front desk staff are super nice people. But they have clearly been asked to be "uber helpful" and I'm afraid I found it pretentious and irritating in equal measure. As I approached front desk for the first time, I was greeted by one of the three men standing by the desk which has width for only one person. Then, as I checked in, each of the other two men kept intruding in the process. Even pressing buttons on the iPad the first man was using. I don't want to be served by three people at once. It's not normal. It's actually not a pleasant experience, despite the obvious good intention. I was checking in for two of us, two separate rooms. Two of the three men then took us up by elevator, each one to show us into our respective room. I was shown the TV remote and even how the up/down buttons on the aircon wall mounted control panel change the target temperature. I don't need to be shown how a hotel room works. In fact, all I actually needed to be told by front desk, would be "WiFi login is by QR code on the TV, and breakfast begins at 7am, have a comfortable stay". As it turns out, my aircon in room 405 did not have any cold air to offer and, combined with the heat from the heated bathroom floor, it was too hot.

The parking was a little confusing upon arrival as we felt we were driving on a sidewalk with opedestrians. Once we got past that, the rooms, the service, and the location was great! We stay there again when in Munich!

I travel often. Country to country. This property, may be my favorite in a long time! Really tasteful beautifully done.

Perfect walking distance to all dining and shopping. Clean and breakfast was great. We would stay again. We had 2 adults and 2 teenagers in 2 rooms. Not cheap!

A rather good hotel, a bit on the expensive side but worth it. The location is unbeatable, at the very center of Munich, and the S8 train line brings you from the airport right to the hotel door. The hotel’s restaurant and bistro turned out to be better than the many alternatives we sampled. Our only disappointment was that the “city view” we had reserved turned out to be the view of another building across the alley.

Very nice hotel, excellent service and great location. Love the heated bathroom floor!

Nice hotel and great location. A few recommendations. Climate control needs to be allowed in the room, king bed is actually two beds not well put together, the reception is right in the face of the elevator, and finally turn down service personnel tend to barge into the room without giving the guest time to respond.

Friendly staff.

terrific location and staff were very helpful! Keep in mind when booking that taxis or Uber cannot drop or pick up in front of hotel since it's in the pedestrian zone unless they have a permit. However it is not a big deal since they will be right around the corner or the hotel will call one for you to come directly to the hotel.
