Perfect central location. Really quiet room, considering the local bars this was a great plus. Nice reception, the only negative was the breakfast, real scrambled egg isn’t too hard

The hotel is lovely, the staff were extremely friendly and helpful. The bed was very uncomfortable, woke up on the first night with a neck ache. Paid extra for a room with a view, unfortunately, to see the "view" i had to have the side my head pressed against the window looking right to see a tiny part of the cathedral. Was not worth the extra money. The hotel is in the perfect location, right in the middle of the city.

The stay was good the only thing i don't like is their check out time, its too early at 11am and i am a silver member at hotel.com but they don't let you use your perks.

Nice , clean hotel , central and the service is excellent . Always stay there when in Canterbury

The hotel is lovely. Sadly there’s a club next door with a late licence so you won’t get to sleep before 1am on a Fri or Sat.

Friendly and helpful staff, clean and comfortable room and hotel. Breakfast wasn’t anything to write home about, but it was fine. The Hampton by Hilton in York has mini fridges in the rooms, which would be a welcome addition in Canterbury’s rooms, but otherwise it’s a lovely place to stay in a great location. As a bonus, I could see the cathedral from my window.

My sister and I came to Canterbury for a short weekend stay - some fun, relaxation and sightseeing. We chose the hotel for its city centre location, but we were very pleasantly surprised at the overall impression of the hotel. Clean, super comfortable, great breakfast. Overall, an excellent stay.

Great hotel within walking distance from all city locations and 10 mins walk from Canterbury West station. Modern, clean and well equiped rooms. Would have liked a king size bed rather than queen. Breakfast is buffet hot and cold, which exceeded our expectations.

Staff was lovely, beds comfy, shower good, and breakfast was terrific. Now, if they could put a brighter light over the bathroom sink, it would be perfect. 😄

Excellent Hotel, very comfortable and the staff are very friendly and helpful. We did find a sweet wrapper in our room on the floor by the bed under a chair and also under the unit on the wall to the side of the tv, the carpet is grubby. Other than that the room was clean and comfortable.

The hotel had a large tour group staying which had some impact on our stay. The room was spacious, but the bathroom was impractical with the frosted glass door! This not only flooded the room with light in the night, but did not feel private! Large mirror opposite the door also! The sliding door was useless!
The breakfast was reasonable and the staff were excellent! It was clean and bright.

We paid a lot for this hotel and usually over 30 plus years of staying at this chain of hotels I have had a great nights sleep. Not this time. There was a disco party going on till 12:30am next door and described our sleep.

Best location ever, easily walkable to train station, Cathedral, shopping, wall, kings mile, gardens etc.
kind, helpful staff. Good breakfast. Food options very near. The best surprise is the rooftop bar Nextdoor with the best views of the cathedral.

This was a beautiful hotel for a quick Bank Holiday weekend away. Central to Canterbury with many restaurants, pubs, plentiful shopping and the cathedral all within easy walking distance. Canterbury is a very lovely city.

Guests should be warned of noise from rooftop bar and the street when booking. The noise from the DJ on Saturday night was unacceptable, hotel needs to invest more in soundproofing!
For the price of the hotel, I would generally expect a bit more. No biscuits or water in the room, breakfast very basic - essentially like a Premier Inn. Not enough food, plates, or tables.
The one lift was very slow and always a queue. Bed very hard, had a board under the mattress?!
Staff were all very friendly, having the bar in the lobby was convenient and it was reasonably priced.

Nice little property in the city centre with a lot to offer.

The room was spotless and airy with a lovely rooftop view. Irina greeted us with a huge smile and made us feel very welcome! She was very helpful during our stay. The buffet breakfast was delicious and the rooftop socialite bar next door with views of a floodlit Canterbury Cathedral at night was the icing on the cake. Would highly recommend this Hotel!

A wonderful, new hotel in old Canterbury. The views from rooftop bar and restaurant are amazing.

We were subject to a noisy club next door playing loud music until 2am, Which was not ideal for a relaxing weekend. Also there was no fridge or any complimentary water within the room.

This hotel is right in the middle of the town. It is not only convenient, it is also clean and the breakfast is delicious. We had a good experience at this hotel.

Paid extra for a view which was just roof tops and huge pipes outside the window, wouldn’t recommend.

Beautiful hotel located right in the heart of Canterbury. The food and bar area in the lobby coupled with the rooftop lounge makes for a very comfortable stay with so much available to their guests.

Very clean room and common areas. Excellent breakfast with plenty of hot and cold options. Ideal central location near public transport especially Canterbury East train station. Will definitely use again if staying in Canterbury.

Everything was great! They checked my ID for proof that it was me which I loved. There’s someone 24/7 so you can check out whenever you want which was great for me since I have to leave around 3am for my bus. Breakfast was great and alot of options. The room was so clean as well as the bathroom. No silverfish. They had shampoo, conditioner, body wash, and body lotion. My experience with this hotel was great and I will come back again as well as recommend it to family and friends.

This is a brand new hotel perfectly located in the centre of Canterbury. It has good security: (you need a key card to operate the lift) and the rooms are generally well appointed. There are tea/coffee making facilities in the room, a safe and a good array of dispensers in the bathroom. We found the beds uncomfortable, but we were only staying one night. The staff are friendly and helpful. This was our final stop of our holiday after a driving tour through France and Switzerland and, ironically the first time we encountered any language difficulties. No biggie however. Unfortunately, as with many city centre hotels, there is no onsite parking so you have to use the shopping centre parking round the corner and carry your luggage between the two. The hotel offers 24th parking for £25. I would recommend this hotel for a short stay in Canterbury.

It was my wife's Birthday, Irina and Maisie made it extra special and made my wife's day we wont forget.
