About this house rental
A charming grade 2 listed house just across the road from the beautiful Westgate gardens and located just within the city walls which is a couple of minutes from the high street ( please ask about car parking ). There are three bedrooms and a further two sofa beds in the living room.
Those who like oriental cooking, there is a rice cooker and a large saucepan for steaming in the kitchen.
Those with an infant, there is a baby high chair.
There is a living room, dinning room, kitchen and bathroom. One of the three bedrooms is located on the ground floor ( those who have difficulties in climbing the stairs ) as is the dinning room, kitchen and bathroom. The dinning room boast of having one of the first, " HD ready " mass produced flat screen TVs available at that time ( a joy to marvel at because of it's " antique " age ). The living room has a large modern curved smart TV. There is also a garden with table and chairs

My family enjoyed staying here. It is convenient to the Canterbury West train station, the pedestrian zone and Canterbury Cathedral. It is on a busy road, so there is no place to park to unload/load luggage from a car, but there is a car park nearby. The house consists of 3 floors, with one bedroom on each floor. The stairs are quite narrow. The kitchen, dining and bathroom are located on the ground floor. There is lots of art decorating the walls. A lovely stereo controlled by Alexa is in the dining area. We appreciated that fans were provided as it was warm and we were sleeping on the top floor. Chris is a fabulous host -- very quick to respond and we were able to check-in earlier and leave our luggage after check-out. It made our stay much more smooth.

A lovely home within a quick walk to restaurants, shopping and tourist attractions. A great stay with a kind and attentive host.

The owner is fantastic, always quick to respond and really helpful. Lots of things included like bedding and towels but also tea, coffee, spices for cooking, shampoo etc. The garden is a great space, not too private from neighbours but a great sun trap to sit out. House is on a fairly busy road but owner has secondary glazed the front windows to help. I wear ear plugs so no problem for me. The sofas are really uncomfortable- really need changing, I couldn’t sit on them and I can’t imagine anyone sleeping on them. Mattress in top room is very soft, bed on ground floor slopes towards the wall, not sure if it’s a bed or mattress problem but could benefit from sorting.
Property is in a super location for the city. I really don’t think you can find a nicer owner. If he sorts the beds & sofas I’d definitely recommend

Perfect location for canturbury. Good advice for parking tho an Ez walk from the house. Stairs could be an issue if more than one guest has mobility issues. For us the bedroom on the ground floor was perfect for the one person for whom that was an issue.

Very nice apartment close to village
My husband and daughter found this place very comfortable, clean and pretty. Interesting layout with 3 floors and only 1 bathroom on ground floor, but we expected that. Very close to town and nice amenities. Beautiful artwork in the house, as well, and very nice back patio!
