The continual upgrades the Atrea have done over the years have all been good choices. The latest I noticed is the covered motorcycle parking. My room is comfortable and has all the extra items, ie refrig and microwave. Since I'm always stopping to and from to visit family it allows me to travel with the special family goodies. The location is good with immediate access to the highway.

Independent owner & operated did a wonderful job updating this place! Best little secret in Amarillo! Great location, right off highway. The area seems to be going through some transition but felt comfortable & safe.The cost to stay here is beyond reasonable. Free breakfast too!

The bed was comfortable but the room had an odor. It seemed like it was an old building that had been remodeled but the smell just couldn’t be masked. I would not take my wife there.

This place has recently been renovated and it shows, everything felt newish and clean. The bed was comfortable although a little squeaky, and the shower hot although pressure was just ok. We had some noisy cars and bikes in the morning but otherwise it was quiet. The courtyard was lovely and a great spot to chill. Coin laundry is also available. Staff were lovely. Breakfast wasn’t much, waffles, biscuits and gravy and then the usual continental. This one was the nicest we’ve stayed in our 2 week road trip.

This was a one night stop over during a multi state road trip. The facility isn’t new. However, the rooms have been updated/renovated. Everything was clean. No complaints. not a ding, just FYI, there is no elevator for upstairs rooms. Not a huge problem unless you are physically limited.

You won't be disappointed! The rooms are clean and comfortable. There's a fun vibe with the courtyard and lounge seating in the lobby. I wish all hotels had laminate flooring and white bedding and towels. Staff is always friendly and efficient. I would suggest cleaning up trash and leaves under the stairs but I love this place!

A really nice and fun conversation of an old-fashioned highway motel (two stories, outside walkways). Comfortable and reasonably quiet, with a decent breakfast buffet included. My only complaint, really, is that there was a nightstand only on one side of the bed. Great location right off I-40 near the west side of town. I would definitely stay here again (I semi-commute between Oklahoma and Albuquerque, and Amarillo is almost exactly half-way.)

Late night booking as we had been driving for 12 hours. We were nervous for the price paid was amazing but we just needed 6 hours of sleep before we hit the road again. This is a totally renovated and bery clean 2 story motel. We have starred this location to stay again. Front desk clerk at 11:30pm and 7 am were both fantastic and very pleasant. The structure was old but new flooring, fresh paint and spotless room was such a pleasant find. The king bed was terrific also!!

Cute stylish rooms for Amarillo standards. I have stayed at this property a few times now and haven't had a bad experience yet. I did a late night check in and the hotel staff member was very friendly and kind. Beds have are a medium firmness comfortable enough for me. The room and linens were clean and there were plenty of towels. I did have my dog with me and the pet fee was very reasonable. The hotel does have a pet potty area with poop bags provided which was great. I will definitely stay here aging the next time im driving through.

My wife and my 9 yr old daughter had gotten bit from bed bugs. Didn’t get to stay in room. We made a report and took pictures to the front desk. We drove back home at 12am in the morning. Didn’t get very much sleep
