Nice place to stay when wanting to hang out on Surfside beach which is a short drive. Ive stayed here twice and I really only have 2 things that Im not great about. 1.) They are pet friendly but charge $75 a night if I remember correctly. Thats expensive! 2.) The breakfast they offer sucks. The ONE waffle maker they have is like a 5 min process per person, per waffle. They might have yogurt, and some other little things but its really not very appetizing. No fresh fruits, and the juice machine you need to push for 2 seconds before actually getting juice coming out, otherwise its watered down and nasty. There is no drain for the bad juice so it just needs some little updates like that.

It said I would get a full refund for my stay if I had cancel before 24 hours and I did it 2 days before and they did not refund me which is very frustrating. I will not book with this hotel again.

Have a long way to recovery from the storm and from new ownership, I have stayed at plenty of choice hotels and have never been disappointed, I would give it another chance once it’s back to standard.

Not the cleanest place to stay. Also had a problem with something in our room eating our food and chewed through my bag with all our food in it. I made management aware about what happened. Seemed not important since I haven’t heard back from them! They even have pictures! I would lie about something like that.

Hotel was run down and dirty inside. Outside had standing water everywhere. Rooms had dirty walls and bathrooms and most importantly the mattresses were stained all over. The hallways had dog feces for two days on floor and staff would not clean common areas. I will never recommend or stay at this place again. I actually did not stay neither not could not get get comfortable in the dirtness.

The photos online and amenities online are false advertisement. They do not have complimentary breakfast. They do not have an open pool. The large screen TV did not work. There was a barking dog in the hotel. There was trash in the hallways outside rooms that you had to walk around. The elevator smelled like it was on fire. There were more permanent residents than there were guests at this hotel. The staff gave an excuse for everything that was wrong.

Advertised a pool, a bar, breakfast....had none of those. Did not advertise the lack of TV service and roaches....had an abundance of that.

When booked, it says breakfast included - they had no breakfast served. Would not move rooms when complained about dog next door barking at 3am, shower would not drain from all the hair clogged from previous guests. Saw 4 cockroaches in hotel within 10 hrs of being there. Terrible.

The beds are comfortable, water pressure is great, lots of hot water, and the AC is cold. The staff have been accommodating considering we were dislocated from our home after the hurricane. The hotel is pet friendly, but there are no smells in the room or hallways in my opinion.bit is an older hotel but feels comfortable. Unfortunately the pool is closed and there is no breakfast offered.

Disgusting. Left a day early and was still charged $100 for dogs. Algae on the windows. Stained broken chairs and just gross.

Person at check in was rude. Got to room and it smelled like smoke and was filthy. There was no toilet paper and empty bottles in shower. No continental breakfast or coffee. No desk chair or working internet and tv. And to top it off there were roaches of all sizes. I just stayed there a couple years ago and it was nice. After this visit I was disgusted and felt dirty. It was a very bad experience and i couldnt get out of there fast enough!

Check in was delayed because room wasn’t ready (1.5 hours after checkin time), roaches, no amenities in the room such as the basics like a hair dryer, soap, dishes, ice bucket, phone etc. We were in a suite for 6 people and only 3 towels and this suite had a kitchenette but no dishes or anything. Coffee pot but no cups or coffee. The bathroom door had a terrible lip on the joint and it made a horrific noise if you closed it. Had to ask for clean sheets as none were provided for the pullout couch, sheets on beds had stains as did the mattresses. We had roaches in the room (found late at night) and in the hallways. WiFi was spotty and didn’t work most of the time. pool wasn’t available and no breakfast (which may be due to conditions in the area but nothing disclosed when they confirmed or at checkin). Charged full price even with all the issues.

We had 3 people in our party and 2 of us slipped in the tub, one of us twice. The tub was so slippery that the mat they gave us would not stick to the tub. Management seem to not care!

Not enough staff, complementary breakfast is really Poor, Rooms are ok but ac vents had mold.

Hotel is old and dated. Dingy and dirty. Bed was hard as a rock.

Do not go. Accosted by homeless on way to room. Room smelled. Brown stains on sheets and light cover. Stay away. Yellow stains on bed. Sheets really dirty.

The suite was spacious and the beds were very comfy. The staff was very hard to understand which made check in a bit difficult. The hotel itself needed to have the AC going, it was very warm in the common areas. All in all, not the best but definitely not the worst

BOTTOM LINE.... Everything / All aspects were exceptional for the money. The pool is clean and beautiful! Room was very nice clean up to date. Awesome Big Screen with many options. Only one minor suggestion..... I'm a little of a coffee Connoisseur. The coffee in the room is horrific and the coffee in the lobby nominally better! Keeping in mind that most hotels at the price don't even offer coffee at all! Breakfast was included here...YAY!!

Dirt humid rooms had to change rooms twice because everything was nasty, and the third rooms bathroom door was broken and would not shut

I stayed at this property over a year ago and it wasn’t bad. This time around, completely different. I booked online and paid online. When I arrive at 3:30 to check in I was greeted with a rude man who wanted me to pay a deposit and also had to go check if my room was even ready. Finally we get to our room and surprise surprise it was dirty. Beds were made and towels had been put so obviously housekeeping had been there. The lamp shades had food residue and mildew, there was food all over in the microwave, graffiti in the bathroom, a floor board peeling up, writing on a window, etc. We left to go to the beach and asked for an extra blanket to be placed, came back hours later no blanket, went to ask again and was given a sheet. Now the fun part begins. A silverfish in the bathroom came out to say hi when my daughter was getting ready to shower. Ok no big deal, kill it and go back to life. HOWEVER when we turned out the lights is when the real fun started. Roaches everywhere. Big ones, small ones. You name em they were there. Also a scorpion. I have videos and pictures of it all. Checked out and asked for manager, lady said there was no manager on site…. Tried to show her the pictures and videos and she obviously did not care. Said I’d get my deposit and money back but I doubt it. Will definitely be following up with corporate and posting my review and pictures on all the sites. Avoid like the plague.

Pool was closed. Parking lot/gazebo smelled heavily of weed. Rusted earring on the bathroom counter. Tub was rusted around the drain. A/C not effective.

Extremely quiet and clean. The bed and linens felt high end.

It was great

The lobby in the hotel was great but the rooms are outdated and need some fixing up. Room i stayed in the AC was leaking onto the rug and had a most smell. Also looks like it didn't get cleaned often.

The home like environment

The hotel was a disaster. The room stunk of very strong Marijuana. I called the front desk to tell them because i didnt want to get charged for the smell. It was a no smoking room. We didnt get the accessible room. We had to fix the shower because the water was barely coming out. The internet didnt work. The toilet got stopped up after the first use. And the lamp on the night stand had built in plugs and there was metal prongs stuck in the plug.

Rented two rooms both rooms were vary duty the beds look to be remade and never changed found dog hair in the beds and in the bathrooms

The room we had was clean and their lobby was clean. But they do require a deposit no matter if you get the room in person or if it is reserved online. That needs to be stated online. We were very limited on funds since we were only going for a graduation. When we were getting the deposit back I asked if I could get it back in cash so I could use it for gas and they said it would be put back on my card in about 2 days. Also, their breakfast. They only had waffles, cereal, yogurt, fruit and oatmeal for breakfast. They ran out of waffle batter and took forever to fill it back up. Their coffee ran out and while we were waiting it took and an hour to refill it. So I didn't get to get any. The "hot" water wasn't hot enough to cook the oatmeal. The fruit was dry. The orange and apple juice kind of tasted like it was on the spoiled side. Be aware, if trying to check in at an earlier time than 3pm for that day it's an additional $25. I know we will never stay at this hotel again.

I didn’t get to stay there. The property gave away my reservation. I had to find a different place to stay.

Only bad thing is water there’s no cold water
