We did like the layout of our room, a Studio King. The housekeeping staff was very courteous and helpful, however, you want an honest review with the good and bad...Our room smelled like wet dog, the lobby and dining area floors were so sticky that your shoes made an obnoxious amount of noise, the breakfast staff had to constantly be told that there was no utensils and coffee. The breakfast choices were ok. Most front desk staff made no effort to greet you when you walked through the lobby area unless they were over the age of 30. The pool was freezing!!! So what if it is the largest lap pool, it's too cold to use. There you have it.

Coffee pot had old coffee with mold floating on top. Beetle-type bug found in closet and reported to front desk. They did replace the coffee pot with a new one. Room itself was nice. Front desk employees were friendly and responsive to our requests and needs.

Located just off Coastal Hwy, it's a short easy drive to Cape Henlopen State Park and downtown Lewes. Their indoor pool is perfect for lap swimming. It's easy driving to outlets, Hopkins Farm for ice cream and other activities.

Make sure to check the refund policy. I frequently book through Expedia and always look for refundable hotels. I don’t know how I missed this when booking here. We weren’t able to stay here as we had to adjust our plan and the hotel was unflexible. We needed a slight adjustment in dates and numerous conversations with the hotel and they would not budge. We said we would pay any difference in cost for the different date. Result is we lost almost $400. Expedia was very nice but there was nothing they could do as the hotel refused to make changes.

The hotel is hidden in an office complex and can't be seen from the street. It took me over an hour traversing Lewes streets to finally find and with a GPS navigator. A woman in a store showed me on a Google map where it was. Buried deep in a complex. They need to post explicit directions on how to reach it. Upon checking in we only had one bath towel for two people, I had to go to the desk to request two. The guy looked a me as if I had two heads on my shoulder The breakfast the next morning was so cheap and one of the worst I've ever had. Only warm foods were scrambled eggs and potatoes. No breakfast meats such as bacon or sausage which normally accompany buffet breakfasts. I could't ait to check out and leave this place!

The only issue we had was with our room’s AC, the temperature was ok but our towels never dried and the carpet always felt damp, it didn’t take enough humidity out of the air. The AC in the hallway was better than in our room. Even a vitamin in my pill box became moist that was in the room. This is the second time we’ve stayed and this i remember was an issue before. The chairs were awkward for people to sit on and the table was a little high. The couch was also too low. The sofa bed was also not very comfortable for an adult. The staff was always pleasant though

My family really enjoyed our stay! The property is clean and everyone was so friendly. The pool was our favorite place, it never got too crowded and my children got to do a lot ofnswiming.

Great place to stay for families with young children. The kids love the breakfast, the pool, and the games in the common area. The housekeeping staff went above and beyond to make the room special for the kids, making cute scenes with their stuffed animals to make it look like the stuffed animals had been playing while we were out. Kids loved it. With its location right on the main strip through town, it's fairly close to anything you'd want to do (20 minutes to beach with traffic, many restaurants, amusements, and shops within 2 miles). The staff was super friendly, professional, and accommodating. We added an extra night stay and they matched the hotels.com price, and let us keep the same room, even though the hotel was near max capacity. We had a few other small requests pertaining to housekeeping, and they were on it. The room itself (double queen) was perfect. Plenty of functional space, great amenities for a traveling family. Breakfast had plenty of options, and there was always fresh coffee and citrus infused water in the Lobby. Didn't get to use the gym, but it looked like a great facility. Seriously, you can't go wrong with this hotel. Book it!
