Our family had a wonderful stay. The home was beautiful, comfortable, and had everything you could need. We were a short 10 min drive from the places we planned to visit, and when our daytime adventures were done, we enjoyed playing games and watching the views from the expansive living/dining space. Thanks for making your home available. We'll be back!

It was a great experience for our three families. The house had everything we needed to make our stay enjoyable. There were plenty of plates, utensils, and cookware. The house was very kid friendly and even had a set of dishes just for young kids. We loved the great views and the expansive upper deck. The owners were very pleasant and responded to my questions right away.

This is a lovely property on a peaceful and quiet street surrounded by trees and a garden. The home was big enough to accommodate everyone in our family and our little dogs loved it, too. Beds were clean and comfortable; we loved the big soft pillows. The open living/dining area allowed us to all hang out and play our trivia games. The sunset on the back porch was breathtaking; porch patio set was clean and comfortable. The house was bright, clean, and welcoming. The garage had a standard J1772 EV charger which was an added bonus; we were able to charge all three of our EVs with no issue.
The hosts were very helpful, communicative, and handled everything well. They were quick to respond to questions
The only issue we had was the water temperature at the kitchen sink - one small turn of the lever to the right produced extremely hot water. This was a minor blip compared to how much fun/relaxation we had at this location. Thank you for sharing your home with us.

Close to downtown Sonora, easy drive to Bear Creek and Strawberry for snow fun. Beds were comfortable and Kitchen was well appointed. There were a few minor issues but the host more than made up for the minor inconvenience.

Every year we spend a weekend in the Sonora/Columbia/Jamestown area to kick off the winter holidays and ride the Polar Express out of the historic Railtown State Park. This year we decided to rent a house and bring our dogs-- and we are so glad that we did! This is a lovely, wonderful, comfortable home in a beautiful hillside neighborhood with expansive views of the Sierra foothills. It's equally close (5-10 min drive) from the charming towns of Sonora, Jamestown and Columbia State Park. It has comfortable beds, a terrific kitchen, great bathrooms, and cozy living areas. What our 12 and 14 year old boys loved the most was the garage with the air hockey- billiards- ping pong table! They spent hours in there having the best time while my husband and I relaxed, read our books, and knit in the living room with views of the mountains! We are already looking forward to a return trip! The owners are very kind and considerate and are very well organized- we had everything we needed and knew we could call them if something unexpected came up. They gave us great restaurant recommendations in Sonora, too!

We stayed in the property for the Thanksgiving holiday period. Simply superb location and property. The pictures do not do the views justice. Perfect and dramatic. Moreover, we had family coming in from several locations and the property owners and manager were extremely gracious and accommodating as we changed certain aspects of our plan at times. Access to the property was extremely easy. Location in a wonderful neighborhood above town in the hills - solitude and beauty. But also quick access down into town. Sonora is a perfect size, quaint, old mining town with antique shops and restaurants too. We look forward to a return to Sonora and this secret garden, hideaway property. A pleasure to have stayed and made for a truly memorable holiday thanks to both the property itself and also the graceful. owners! Molto Grazie!

Four adults and three children all fit comfortably. We enjoyed spending time on the deck. The kids loved the bunk beds.

The house was exactly what we needed for our family - the indoor space was perfect to stay cool during the day and the beautiful views from the deck were a bonus in the cooler evenings. We were able to comfortably spend time relaxing with our family.

Sonora 2022
Property was great! Had plenty of space and was very clean. We were a family of about 10 and everyone had a spot to stay. There were 4 bedrooms and 2 bathrooms. Only two things that would’ve made our experience just a bit better. There were definitely not enough towels for all of us. We didn’t realize this until it was too late but they did have a washer and dryer and we were able to run a quick load. Easy fix. Just something we’re going to be mindful of next booking. The other thing was that there was synthetic grass. It was VERY hot and burned some feet. Not really the properties fault but just something to be aware of if you have kids that like to play outside. We had to make sure there was either a blanket down or they played in the few shaded areas. Overall the trip was a success and we had a great time!
