Quiet and secluded part of Nacpan. It didn't bother me that I had to walk or rent transport to and from accommodation. Pretty rough road. However this might be an issue with families with senior/children. Waves on water are present but not too much that you would not enjoy playing. Nice area to see the sunset and enjoy life really. Staff are pleasant and keen to help although sometimes they don't seem to talk to each other? (I was communicating with someone in whatsapp but message/order wasn't relayed to front staff at the last day-maybe just a one-off miscommunication). I keep asking for ice as it was too warm and they were happy to provide so thank you. My favourite part is having a quiet and tasty breakfast in their dining area. I love the ceiling as birds hang out there and sings to you while you eat. I love the orange juice and iced coffee!!! Meals can be pricey but personally I think they are worth it. Portion size and quality are both good. The only meal we weren't keen on was the battered shrimp. The coating wasn't crispy (a tad oily) and needs a bit more salt/seasoning, but the actual shrimp was nice. My favourite part is when I can gaze the beautiful ocean water while eating. Although I think it would be nice to have a swimming pool in that empty space after the dining area and before the massage/yoga area. It would be ideal to have some ceiling fan dining room as it can be annoying to have flies while you eat. Kudos to whoever is playing the lofi song. It is a chill way to enjoy nature unlike the other resorts that are blasting loud pop music all day/night.
I was informed that there won't be mobile signal so heavily relied for internet connection, however during the first night it took nearly 2 hours for them to fix the internet. It takes a long time for them to prepare their meals so make sure to order ahead of time. I expected insects and so kept applying insect repellent lotion daily however on our last night saw a cockroach in the bathroom which shocked and scared us. No meal was eaten in the room just snacks/drinks as were afraid of attracting more insects but yeah it still happened. Be aware that it can be really warm in the villas. You can open the windows if you want however it will attract more insects and I wasn't keen to open them due privacy issues. Despite having plants in the front villa, people can still see you as the actual resort area is not big and the paths going to and from the beach is near to the villas. I didn't sleep at all on the first night due to the heat (this is late May) with only one electric fan (which I was informed beforehand but still risked it as the place looks so nice) so I had to beg/request the following day. Luckily they were able to provide a second fan. It would be nice to have a ceiling fan for better overall air circulation. If there's an air-conditioned villas (perhaps solar powered) in the future then I might be tempted to come back for the great ambiance and beach. Shower power pressure isn't too good as well. Perhaps it got to do with the eco theme as well.

Very beautiful hotel. Right on the beach with no people. Very relaxing. Friendly staff. Would stay again and recommend.
No ac is not fun for me. The breeze didn’t circulate in the room as advertised. But still recommend staying there

Although it is tricky to get there, the location was really special as it has no other hotels close to it and it's right on the most beautiful beach we've been to. We loved that everything is solar powered and a lot of the food is produced in the hotel. Staff were very friendly and the food was the best we had in Nacpan. And we loved the free yoga classes every day!
Although the food was amazing and we loved and appreciated the farm to table concept, we did feel like it was slightly overpriced. The bedroom was perfect and very spacious and clean, however the bathroom was quite humid.

The loveliest, most welcoming staff really made the experience so great. And the food was cooked to perfection, highly recommend the mi goreng, chicken sisig, and mango sticky rice!
Nothing (:

Amazing location away from the noise of the town. The mountain and sea between the Eco Sanctuaties makes it even perfect. The food was incredible I loved everything they served from tapa to seafood to nachos!!!!!

really wonderful sweet little beach spot. amazingly friendly and helpful staff! simple. quaint. appreciate the eco focus and not being so extravagant.
I didn’t love all the ATV traffic in the beach, but that’s that the property’s fault. just proximity.

we couldn’t have loved it more!
- the most amazing beach
- the loveliest staff
- the cutest accommodation

The nature, the villas, the staff and the food were amazing.
This is actually not a responsibility of the resort, but it is still good to know: In Napcan Beach every day from early morning to late afternoon the Quads from ATV were passing on the beach in front of the ECO Sanctuaries. The noise is annoying and despite that, it is not good for the ecosystem.

The location is fantastic. The staff is some of the friendliest i have ever encountered. The restaurant has great food! Would love to vidit again!
If i have to pick something out that I didnt like one things come to mind: Some hotel at Nacpan Beach (I think Ankla) rents out ATV's at the beach that are extremelly annoying and really lowed. They dont belong on that beautiful beach. Obviously Eco San isnt responsible it is just worth mentioning so it hopefully changes in the future.

Food - best food of our trip in the Philippines
the best sunrise of our lives
very nice staff
amazing location
We believe that even being an eco Sanctuary there are still things that should be improved. In our room (the big one) we had lots of undesirable insects. I would suggest putting a net between the room and the garden inside the room.
The comfort of the chairs at the beach.
One night they had a big group for dinner and they made a lot of noise.

Everything!!! Best location (Nacpan Beach), all the amenities are eco friendly, staff are soooo warm and accommodating
I didn't like that I only booked 1 night here 😭 Will definitely go back to Eco Sanctuaries next time I visit 🇵🇭

Nacpan beach is amazing - a long stretch of white sand with crystal clear water. Eco Sanctuaries definitely has the prime location on the stretch with the best section of beach and the lodges are steps away from the water. Falling asleep to the sound of waves was a real treat.
I loved seeing what a solar powered resort could be. I hope the green ethos permeates and Nacpan does not get over developed like so many other beaches. Eco Sanctuaries demonstrates what can be accomplished without an harming the environment and should be applauded.
We were aware this was not a luxury resort at the outset and so did not have expectations of extra comforts. For everyone’s awareness, there is no air conditioning and low water pressure. The water actually stopped one evening and did not restart until we asked about it the next morning. The staff were quick to figure out what happened and get it turned back on.

Perfect location if you are looking for peace and isolation. We loved it. It is located on the more quiet side of nacpan so you more or less have that awesome part of the beach all to yourself. Really nice food and reasonably priced. Simple but comfortable accomodation.
While the staff was very polite and welcoming, we had a negative experience towards the end of our stay. We booked and paid for a massage session which was advertised as 900p per person for one hour. We paid for two people so that was 900 x 2. We specifically asked upon booking whether they will send two people, one for each or whether we will do it one after the other to which they said they will send two. In the end, only one lady appears and told us she would do both of us at the same time within the span of an hour which is obviously not what we agreed as we paid for two people, I.e. one hour each. While we initially accepted, then we realised it was a mockery. I was there, waiting with aloe Vera on me while she was working on the other person, not receiving any service. Therefore after 25 min of me lying on the bed without any service received, I told her I will just go and wait until she is finished with my friend. After she completed my friend's session the reception lady called me to go and take my spot, only to find out that the massage lady already started working on someone else who they booked while we also had a reservation for 2 people and bcz there was no other person available, they asked the BARMAN to work on me. The guy had no idea how to massage, it was the most awkward massage session I ever had, for both of us. When I complained they said he is qualified which I very much doubt.long story short we felt cheated and no one even bothered to refund us for at least the one person massage. No hot water which not really stated when you are booking.

Everything was amazing from the food and drinks to the location and facilities. The staff and owner were great! It was the best beachfront stay my family and I have ever had.
Having to say goodbye at the end of our stay. We didn’t want to leave.

Location is paradise . Remote and out is the way . Beautiful little resort , exclusive , currently made up of 3 lovely built huts.
Huts are cool (with no air con, but air con is not needed as the huts are designed to be close to nature and make the most of the sea breeze.
Ecologically self sufficient . Wonderfully close to nature.
Nice little menu of cocktails (if you like cocktails).
When we visited mid February we had the beach to ourselves .
Staff are fantastic .
Especially Mac , who looked after us very well , always with a smile. And attentive . And all so friendly .
If has to look for any issues it would be that there was not enough furniture in the room- no place to put your clothes or luggage .
Also Dinner and lunch menus are good & great quality, but the portions were in the small side .
4.5
great beach, no people at all, because it’s quit far from public area. friendly stuff, they helped us with our baggage. good food at the restaurant, quit place for practice joga.
just couple of things to improve: there is weak stream of water in the shower and no shelves for clothes or any personal things

Beautiful and quite location on Nacpan beach. We were late to check in but the staff was very accommodating and still helped us to our villa even with our late arrival. The staff were incredibly welcoming and friendly! The view is beautiful and the beach is incredible. It was an enjoyable walk down the beach to the other restaurants and facilities.
It is more “rustic” than “fancy” which did not bother us, but something to keep in mind!

We wanted to stay at Nacpan Beach, the most beautiful beach in the area, that's how we found Eco Sanctuaries.
Because we had issues with our flight, we were rerouted through Puerto Princessa and a 5 hour van transfer from hell, instead of arriving straight to El Nido Airport. The person from Eco San was very understanding and helpful, and arranged for us a transfer to their place at midnight for Php3000, and didn't charge us any late check cost, which was very nice of them.
The place is a like a piece of heaven, the cabin were we stayed is very rustic, traditional Filipine, from our bedroom the view was amazing, you could see and hear the sea waves and lots of palm trees! But, maybe is not for everyone, because the waves can be pretty loud, and also being an eco friendly place, there is no hot water, but being so hot outside, we adapted pretty quickly.
The included breakfast was pretty delicious and the fresh juices were amazing. We also ate lunch and dinner there, which were delicious, I guess the food diversity could be bigger, because in our 4 days we ate most of them. Filtered drinking water is available for free.
The staff was very friendly, very helpful, I can say only good things about them, they make you feel pretty special, that we even felt bad leaving there.
We also took a Filipino & Thai massage, which were well received and very relaxing after the long trip getting there.
The view, the water, the beach with a forest of palm trees was outstanding, very few people on the beach, it's like you're morrouned on a beautiful deserted island by yourself!
They have also a decent wifi, because there is no cellular reception in Nacpan beach.
We highly recommend it to anyone who wants to disconnect from the daily life and wants to recharge in a beach paradise!

The hospitality was amazing! The owner arranged for me very late arrival ( after 23:00 pm) and the next day after an exhausted trip they allowed me to take my breakfast i was entitled to at 3 pm !
The room was amazing! Clean, no bugs! Just in from of the ocean!
It would me amazing if the resort would have hot water! This is the only thing I missed.

Beautiful peaceful location, staff were awesome as was the food.
4.5
The location is GORGEOUS. We stayed in the bungalow closest to the beach, and the view from the room was amazing. We loved the style of the bungalow and it’s amazing airflow. The owner and all staff are super friendly and helpful. The lodge is on the quiet end of the beach, which is fantastic and so peaceful, but also the restaurants/bars are easy to walk to so you can have the best of both worlds.
The restaurant doesn’t have a ton of options and it has trouble keeping some things in stock (like ice). It was only a minor inconvenience, and we understand that it’s because the owner is committed to being eco-friendly and sustainable. Also, the roof of the bungalows drops bits and pieces of bamboo shreds. Again, not a big deal, but good to know in case you’re expecting a more high-maintenance vibe.
